| D IFFICULTY; MASTER. SO YOU WANNA RECOVER A WORLD, HUH? IN ORDER TO SAVE THIS WORLD AND BRING IT BACK YOU MUST FIGHT THROUGH THE DARKNESS TO GET TO THE WORLD'S KEYHOLE. THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF ENEMIES. STRONG ONES TOO. MOST NOTABLY A MINI BOSS AND MAIN BOSS. YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS ON THE WORLD NOT THE PATH TO GET HERE. THERE WILL BE OTHER REWARDS BESIDES THE BOARD BEING MADE, AND THOSE WILL BE BASED ON YOUR ACTIONS. THIS SHALL BE NO EASY TASK. WE WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK.~ They stepped out of the Corridors of Darkness into an unrecognizable world. Well, almost unrecognizable. Both Emilio and Alphonse were standing on a platform, a hovering platform, that was at least half the size of a football field. This platform was so high off the ground that neither could even tell if there was a ground if looking over the edge. for the moment, It was only the single piece of land. In every other direction one looked there was absolutely nothing. Only a deep crimson sky with a lack of sun and a smokey haze. There was perfect silence here until the portal came and dropped them both off. There was no one in sight. For now. In the middle of the small clearing was a distinguishable fountain. Probably a park center piece or something that should stand in the middle of a square. It was very intricate and beautiful with the water flowing from the spouts of dancing angels. Wait... Water--? Emilio looked around. His eyes searching for anything that might be there to attack them. He furrowed his eyebrows as his eyes scanned the surrounding areas. Looking to Alphonse he'd really hoped that this was the right place. Because it didn't look like there was anything left here. "What... happened?" He asked looking around. Alright... This was the beginning of the mission. There would be no point in asking for the past. They needed to pull this world back together and it looked like it would be piece by piece. He took a couple steps forward toward the fountain and looked down at the running water. Perhaps this mission would start with a test? Why was there no other places around them? Did this one just float away? So many questions drifted through Emilio's thoughts. Then he turned to Alphonse. This was his home world. How was he going to take the sudden loss of... well everything? He had to get Al to be calm so that they could move forward. He was basically begging the kid not to freak out. But just as he turned back to look at Alphonse he noticed someone standing behind him. Emilio opened his mouth in slight shock. It was a girl. One with hair as long as her mid back, smooth pale skin, and glowing white eyes with no pupils. "Alphonse..." He said softly. "No. Sudden. Moves."@finalboss00 NOTES: This is the start of the mission thread. Don't worry, there will be more pieces of land as we work through this world. |

With tightly shut eyes, the dark-skinned teenager strolled through the open maw that would be The Corridors of Darkness. The foul-mouthed boy kept his barrings this time around when traveling through such an odd portal. But he understood why such a means of transportation had such an ominous name. When "inside" the darkness spiraled and thrived. Alphonse could have sworn the tug-and-pull of it all threatened to separate him from his guide; Emilio. On top of that, he heard "voices" and his already unstable teenage emotions flared to higher levels. Was this the darkness' way of attempting to sway him over to their side? It might have worked if he wasn't so hot-headed and had the will of a bison. But still, the thought lingered in the back of his rushing mind. What if I just give in...? Then what?"Tch, fat chance..."Those chocolate colored orbs of his laid eyes on a bloodstained sky. Taken by surprise from the sight, Alphonse took a step forward and took in the vicinity. He saw nothing but crimson and such a blank sight made his neck hair stand on-end. So they were on an island, just a really tiny island? Cool. Were they floating on water? No, he felt no tug or anything. So this must've been some kind of island, right? Well, if this was an island or not, there was a fountain which brought some much needed color to this place, so it was best if they began "searching" for clues there. Alphonse approached the piece and gazed at his own modest reflection. Even in a time like this, despite not looking at his best, the overly confident teenager still managed to give himself a winning grin. However, the grin morphed into a displeased scowl as he recognized the fountain for what it was. Engraved into the granite of the fountain would be horrid penmenship with a chisel or some other instrument like it. But the words engraved read... Shibuya Dopplegang. This was Yoyogi Park?! No way in hell was this Yoyogi Park?! What happened to all the greenery, flowers, trees?! With the realization now that he made it back to Shibuya. Seeing absolutely nothing but red caused his heart to thump so uncontrollably, he thought it was gonna bust through his protective rib cage. Deep in thought, the words of Emilio caused him to cock a brow in confusion. Well, until he glanced in his direction, that general look of fear enough to make the boorish teenager almost piss his pants. With a wary grin, he finally spoke... "Aye, man... Quit playing..."Slowly, and I mean slowly, he turned to face whatever it was Emilio was looking at... Rip. |

| A t first, the girl didn't react. She just stood there and stared at Alphonse with a blank expression and those eerie white eyes. She was so near the edge of the clearing that if you had pushed her she would have fallen off the platform. She stood at the height of 5"7' and her pale white skin contrasted against the crimson sky. For a few moments she simply watched the two steadily. Not seeming to be hostile, but not seeming to be a friend either. Who was she? How did she get here? Had she been here the whole time? Had she flown here? She appeared to be around eighteen years of age and after several moments, it was entirely possible that she was a familiar person to Alphonse. Perhaps someone from his gang or a neighbor that lived nearby. Or maybe just someone that was passed on the street quite a bit. Suddenly feeling like an ant under a microscope Emilio took a small breath and said. "Who are you?" Immediately she moved in response. She didn't speak, but she began to walk closer to the two of them. Emilio took a step back and was about to summon No Name, but she soon shifted directions and walked over to the other side of the fountain. She stood in view and turned to face the both of them, continuing with her rather blank expression. Perhaps, she was trying to say something? Emilio glanced at Alphonse and was about to asked him a question when she moved again. She climbed onto the ledge and stood high above the water, pointing into the fountain, her white eyes gazing at Alphonse blankly. Upon closer inspection of the inside of the fountain, the bottom of it was painted, but the message was nearly impossible to read with the water inside the fountain. It was a dark grey color, but also seemed to blend in with the small waves and shifts in the moving water. |

"Motherfu---BLAH!!!"Those eerie white eyes of the six foot seven ghastly "amazon" caused the teenagers mouth to go completely dry. He jumped a few feet backwards and took a rather ugly kung-fu stance—Karate Kid, the crane. After a few seconds of deathly silence, the moisture returned to the mouth of Alphonse. But he was still in that rather silly stance, because, y'know, one can never fully trust a towering ghost. Emilio would be the first to speak to the wraith-esque giant, his question made Alphonse speak in his typical overbearing nature. "Oy, Elastic. That ain't no question you ask a ghost!""She" moved closer, her silent "response" caused Alphonse to shriek in tough-guy terror. "O-oy, lady! Snatch his soul first!"He called out pointing over at Emilio with wide eyes. He would then speak, his words a low whisper and aimed directly at the ivory locked male accompanying him. "Yo, when she attacks... I go left... You go right..."Alphonse swallowed that lump of anxious stuck in his throat as she continued to move in their direction before shifting to the fountain. She stood by the fountain, just looking at them, attempting to speak without speaking it seemed. Alphonse caught the gaze of Emilio and he returned it with a faint cool guy grin, despite having the urge to soil his jeans. "Heh, I'm pretty nice with the ladies. I'll figure this out, Earlobe."He tapped the chest of Emilio as he cautiously walked towards the fountain. "Oy, ghostladygirlthing... Blink once if ya' friendly, blink twice if ya' gonna' eat me when I get close... Ehehehe, I'm joking... Kinda..."Once within range, he glanced within the fountain and saw something painted at the bottom. But the waves and water made it damn near impossible to decipher. Alphonse squinted his eyes and leaned in a little closer—like that was going to help, and stared intently at whatever it was at the bottom of the fountain. "Hey, bro. Come check this out... What the hell is that...?" |

| A s Alphonse moved closer to her, she stepped down from the ledge of the fountain and moved back a couple steps. It was unclear whether she was trying to help them or if she was hostile toward them, but it was obvious that she wanted them to read the message before anything else happened. Something about it was important. Emilio watched her very carefully as Alphonse so courageously walked closer to her. She didn't seem to react very much. Not even turning her attention onto him. Now her attention was past Emilio himself. He glanced behind him at the crimson sky but saw nothing in the distance. "Hey, bro. Come check this out... What the hell is that...?" Alphonse asked and Emilio immediately responded. Slowly he walked around the fountain to stand beside his companion. Then, allowing himself to take his eyes away from the Damsel, he peered into the water at the painted message at the bottom. "I don't know. Is there a way to turn the fountain off? Maybe we can make the water still enough to read." he said, glancing around the fountain. The only thing was. He couldn't find a button or a switch anywhere. The girl then turned to look at the both of them with her glowing white eyes. A small grin played on her lips. She knew where the switch was. She knew how to turn it off. |

"Look around, bro. Because all I see is red, red, this land, that ghostladything, this fountain, red, red, and MORE red. Ain't no way in hell we stopping this flow normally."He peered deeper into the fountain before dipping his hand into the cool lapping water. Alphonse adjusted his gaze back on the suspicious ghost and took note of that little grin. She either was toying with them, knew something important, or was happy they were playing along. Regardless of the answer, one thing remained true: at this very moment in time, the only lead the duo had happened to be within this ghastly female with glowing white pits for eyes. "Seems like our lady friend here wants to continue playing. Heh, damn shame, I can't speak Ghostnese, can you?"The smart-alec teenager removed his wet hand from the water and dragged it alongside his trouser leg to dry it quickly. While doing so, he awaited for his companions answer. |

| E milio still didn't trust the woman that now watched them with a sly grin on her lips. He glanced at Alphonse who stuck his hand into the water and glanced at the ghostly girl. "Seems like our lady friend here wants to continue playing. Heh, damn shame, I can't speak Ghostnese, can you?" He didn't answer. He was too focused on the girl, staring at her glowing eyes. Not that she cared much. She was staring back at them anyway. He watched her for several seconds. Then, as if something had been triggered, the girl began to walk around the Fountain again, this time passing by Alphonse and stopping beside him. As she did something glinted in the water that hadn't been noticed before. Something reflective. It was as if the glowing of her eyes had glanced off something else in the water of the Fountain. Perhaps there was some kind of trigger? Or there was a puzzle to solve? Either way, the girl was trying to say something. @finalboss00 NOTES: That right there was a really aweful post and I apologize. Just to clarify, you can ask me questions about your surroundings outside of rp as if you were playing some kind of text adventure. Because I am the Moderator of this mission, Emilio is there for Back up rather then full play. Alphonse would know the area better then he and so he is the leader of the mission. |

Emilio's silence rubbed the teenager the wrong way. Alphonse knew he wasn't "ignoring" him on purpose, but the simple fact Emilio didn't comment on his clever "Ghostnese" comment made the ebony toned teenager slightly upset—that shit was golden, son! Anyhow, The ghostly female stood by the fountains edge once again, directly beside the still vigilant Alphonse. The teenager slid a few feet to his left and watched the ghost intently. Chocolate hues watched where "her" eyes went, then he saw it, the reflection he somehow missed earlier. "I'll be damned. Dunno' how I missed that..."He glanced over at the "female" while exhaling a sigh of dread. He was no fool, he didn't trust her, but what other leads did they have? Throwing obvious caution to the wind, Alphonse perched himself upon the ledge of the fountain and drove his hand deep into the watery depths, reaching for whatever it was he saw. "If a big ass monster pulls me into this fountain. You better come save me, Email. I can't swim." |

| A s his fingers slipped into the water to reach in and pull out the shimmery item, Instead of coming all the way out of the fountain, the object wouldn't move. It was stuck to the bottom. However it was flat and round. The flat sides were smooth and sleek like metal and glass. While it wouldn't come out of the water, it did turn sideways. If shifted some to the right it would catch an illuminating light and cause a beam to shine to the other side of the fountain. The ghostly girl turned away from the scene while both boys were busy looking into the water. Then she began to walk away from the fountain and towards the edge of the platform. Without a word and without turning back she stepped off the piece of land and vanished. Emilio caught the very end of her vanishing into thin air as he looked away from the water and towards the red sky around them. Strange. But he turned back to Alphonse and said. "What is it? And it looks like our silent lady's gone."@finalboss00 NOTES: Sorry, lull, If you can figure out the object, I'll explain the puzzle in the next post. |

Round, smooth, sleek, and twisty... Was this a knob of some sort? More specifically, a doorknob. "Man, what the hell..."Alphonse murmured under his breath, getting a better grip around the supposed knob. With his hand firmly around the entire object, he twisted clockwise and pulled with all his might, battling against his better judgement and dreaded water resistance. During this time, the ghostly female made her departure, but Alphonse wouldn't notice due to focusing on the task at hand. However, Emilio would and commented promptly. "What, shes gone? Like "gone" gone? So, what you're trying to tell me is, she went... Ghost?"He pulled and jiggled the knob with a little snicker at his own poorly timed pun. "But yo, I think this is some kind of doorknob or something."Would it open? |

| W ith Alphonse playing in the water Emilio kept watch around the place. The darkness had really done a number on the world here. It had gone completely missing... Unless... His eyes drifted over to where the ghostly girl had just vanished. Where had she gone? What had she been trying to tell them? What was the message in the pool? "What, shes gone? Like "gone" gone? So, what you're trying to tell me is, she went... Ghost?" Emilio stopped and snickered briefly, but then glanced at his friend who seemed to be struggling with something in the water. He was about to open his mouth and ask what it was when Alphonse spoke again. "But yo, I think this is some kind of doorknob or something.""Doornob?" He asked and then leaned over the water to peer into the fountain and see better. But before he got a real good look, there was a click from under the water. The Nob itself had turned to its very last click and now the nob wouldn't budge at all. However, about 20 seconds after it stopped, the fountain began to rumble with the sound of moving gears. At this sound something happened within the water. Little Mirrors began to come out of separate holes the slowly opened. These mirrors were propped up on thick wires that held them up firmly, but allowed for moving around. Emilio looked around the Fountain. "Ah... What just happened?" He asked. |
