Appearance

There are a few things about Emilio that does tend to change depending on what path he is choosing to follow. His normal appearance, the one he was born with, was a silver hair color and blue eyes that only shimmer with a happy twinkle. This does change if he ends up deciding to follow a darker path. Meaning it has changed before. His eyes become an empty gold color and his silver hair shadows to a dark grey or ashy black. In a dark room his eyes will brighten, but his hair will look almost black. 

It has been about a year since he's looked that way. And instead continues to wear a smiling, happy face wherever he goes. 

He is a fighter, and can be quite competitive, living way up to his name "Emilio" meaning Rival. He may be small in stature, but he is definitely not weak. He uses his small thin stature as a strength rather than a weakness. Being able to move at quick speeds and hide well in shadows. He fights with wits and agility instead of strength and brawn. 

Personality

The first and foremost thing that you should know about Milo's personality is the fact that he's very competitive about anything to everything he gets into. Its nothing personal, and he's definitely not a sore loser, but he doesn't take competing lightly either. He can get very involved in any kind of sword fight or board game, or even races. He isn't picky about the challenge either. He'll go after just about anything. Just don't take it too personally because he isn't meaning to shove it in other peoples faces. His name means Rival and so he certainly does live up to it. 

The second most important thing about Milo that you should know, is that he holds a mask over his true feelings and personality. This mask is a constantly smiling and joking kid who can see the best in everything. It doesn't matter the situation, he just has a habit of attempting to make it seem better then it really is. He's goofy in the way that he tries to make people laugh and smile. This facade all to cover his true internal self. 

Having found the skill to see into people's hearts and sense their emotions has been part of the toll on his own heart that was paid. Being able to sense the emotions of others causes him to feel them as well. When he was in the darkness he was able to hide the feelings of others within himself through the option of fear. Showing the greatest fear to his opponent or target had brought him great join once upon a time. Course they were only illusions and could never actually hurt or touch their intended target. Now that he is trying to avoid that cruelty, he uses the silly and goofy facade to try and perk the other up so that he can only feel their happy feelings. 

Because of past instances where people have hurt him and disappeared on him, Milo is very protective of his own heart. Very few people actually know about his connection to the darkness, as he keeps that hidden from the eyes and hearts of others. So he has come to be very careful about who he opens his heart to. However, if he does happen to open his heart to someone then he could end up being blindingly loyal to that particular person. He can become overprotective and nervous of how the other person may view him. 

Speaking of being nervous, ever since he's turned his back on the darkness he's become an insecure, nervous person. He fights fine. Its the darkness he is worried and nervous about. He's afraid that he may fall back into it and disappoint those that he's come to care about.

Ever since he joined forces with his mentor he's had night Terrors. He was taught how to simply just let them happen and not be afraid, and they got better, but ever since he has left the darkness they've gotten worse. These are nightmares that happen soon after sleep and are really bad. The problem is that he can't wake up from them very easily. The nightmare has to finish before he can be properly woken up. This effects his sleeping and so can be quite the insomniac.

Last but not least, Milo carries around a tall wooden staff, it's first and foremost purpose is to be a keepsake and a memory of his childhood and parents, but it is primarily a form of transportation. While on a world it gives him the ability to fly around the world. It also serves as a world to world transportation allowing him to travel through the Corridors of Darkness. The Wooden staff is also a protector from being corrupted by the Corridors as long as Milo touches it.

History

Born an only child of a small family on the large world of Radiant Gardens, Emilio had a very good young childhood. His parents didn't fight very often, they absolutely loved their first son, of whom was a testimony to their marriage, and Emilio just always had a smile on his face. He turned out to be a bit of a joker. Always trying to make people laugh and playing pranks on his friends and family. Emilio was a happy child. Although it was no secret that he was an enormous competitor. He ran in races, played a lot of games simply to compete, and said a lot of "I'm better than you"s. He was simply living up to his name which literally means "Rival enduring from the Angels." 

Ever since he was young Milo had been able to cause strange things to happen around him. Nothing major. Little things, like a rock being in a different place, or a shirt appearing to be a different color. And at first they weren't intentional. He didn't realize they were happening. His parents noticed this, and other people noticed this. But it was difficult to tell if it was actually something that Milo was effecting or if it was just something else. As neither of his parents had any special powers. His father did some research and realized that his own grandfather had similar powers. However, there hadn't been any since. 

As he got older Emilio began to try and use his powers with more control. It seemed impossible, as he couldn't get it to work when he wanted it to and it happened when he didn't want it to. He had very little control, though Emilio didn't mind. As long as it didn't get anyone hurt, and mostly it didn't.

At the age of seven years old Milo had gone to school and had come back to an empty house. His parents had vanished. There was absolutely no sign of them anywhere. He went to look for them and even went to a few of his friends' houses to ask them for help as well. He ended up staying at the house of one of his closest friends for a couple of weeks, and still his parents did not turn up. He went to his own house every morning before school to check on it. 

That was when "he" arrived. One of the mornings when Milo went to go check the house the master found him. He said "I can help you find your parents, and I can teach you how to use the powers you were given. All you have to do is come with me." So he went. They left Radiant Gardens to the golden world of Twilight Town as a place for Emilio to train. He inherited the No Name Keyblade from the Master through the inheritance ritual and became and keyblader apprentice to the dark man. For ten long years Emilio trained under the Master and learned how to use his illusionary skills brilliantly. His personality changed however, and he became both tricky and cruel. His eyes turned gold and his hair darkened to an ashy black. He would play a lot of sneaky tricks on the people of Twilight town. Earning the nickname of "Silhouette" simply because his face was never seen by the residents of the Town. 

His illusionary powers became much stronger then when he was younger, and he gained almost complete control over them. Milo began to use them to show others their own fears. When he realized that he could see another person's fears that is. He noticed this while on one of his training missions. He was able to see into one's heart and sense their strongest emotions.

Then, of course, his mentor vanished one day. Emilio went to search for him, to no avail. His parents gone and long forgotten, and his mentor now missing, He became lost and confused. For about half a year Emilio searched for his mentor, going from world to world in search. By this time, he had forgotten where he had come from. Arriving on the world of Radiant Gardens He couldn't decide why it appeared so familiar. Everything he saw and touched provided some kind of flashback, that only served to hurt and confuse Milo even more. 

Finally he met "her." He had no idea why she looked so familiar, but she definitely seemed to recognize him. And even know his name. Despite looking quite different from when he used to live in Radiant Gardens. He became distracted from his search. Simply because the desire to know himself and who he was became to great for him to fight any longer. Memories began to pore into his mind as he began to gain back his young childhood. And She was not only a big part of his childhood, but also a big part of bringing it back. 

He couldn't help it. He fell in love. He didn't tell her. But he did begin to change for her. His entire behavior and appearance seemed to shift. His hair and eye color changed back to white and blue. His personality mellowed a lot as he tried to recreate his behavior as a child. The innocent, goofy, silly behavior that was always happy and trying to make the people around him happy. It took him several months to create the facade. Even if it was a fake mask that people would see of himself, he wished it to be true. He was glad that no one in Radiant Gardens would remember him as he was when he was with the Master in Twilight Town. Everyone asked him where he had been and what had happened, but he simply replied that he couldn't remember. Only "she" would know. 

Then he decided to go to the Land of Departure to become a Keyblade Master of Light, if at all possible. He began his training with the Master there to learn how to use his illusionary powers in a more light way, and to learn more about the Keyblade itself. He's been there for about a year now.
