Personality

The most defining characteristics of Ilmax are her desire for power, her lust for knowledge, and her disdain for anyone with a heart. She sees herself and Nobodies in general as superior beings and cannot fathom why some Nobodies desire a heart. She herself will fight to her last breath to refuse Mila's heart.

Ilmax's goal for finding Kingdom Hearts is different than most villains', she merely wishes to study it, learn it's secrets and how to use it for her own benefit. Mila firmly believes in power through knowledge and instills that as the guiding principle for Org. XIII.

Unlike most Nobodies, Ilmax retains all memories of her life as Mila and as no desire to be such a weak individual again.

History

Long ago there was a young woman who lived on Destiny Islands. Mila was a simple herbalist's daughter who was trained in the craft herself. If it wasn't for her desire for more. She had learned magic and was proficient enough to separate herself from her family's careers.

One day her destiny called to her in the form of a stranger from another world. He had heard of her magic even from his world and he wanted to hire her. He was researching something new, something dangerous and he needed proficient people to help him. Without a second thought Mila said yes. He took her to his homeworld, one so close to the darkness you could physically look at it. Living darkness was what the stranger was studying.

Together Mila and the man recruited others for their research and the two who started it gradually fell in love. It was not to last however. When the research and experiments got out of hand the man canceled the project. Mila was furious and they argued well into the night. It ended with Mila angrily calling off their relationship and storming out. She marched herself to the lab and looked at their research one last time before it got tossed out and forgotten. She then made a connection she had never seen before.

She took herself directly to the darkness and gave herself to it entirely. Mila was soon gone and in her place was something terrible. The heart that was Mila was devoured and her body was reborn as a Nobody. She took upon herself the new name Ilmax and thought back to Mila's scorned lover. Utilizing her new powers Ilmax took herself back to him and forcibly took his heart. She then had the darkness consume their world and reformed it from the remains. The World that Never Was.

Since then Ilmax has been collecting other Nobodies to her cause. She still desires to learn of the darkness and now that she isn't burdened by a heart she can. Founding the group of Nobodies known as Organization Thirteen she is now looking into the phenomenon known as Kingdom Hearts.
