Freindships:
Jack's only current friend is Abbigail (he doesn't consider Kotako a friend), but he's always interested in making new friends. Unfortunately, his uncontrolled lying means he's very unapproachable, and will usually act like he finds friendship or people trying to be friendly annoying. Sarcastic, and otherwise witty people are more likely to be approached in a rivalry-like response. This, combined with a witty person's increased likelihood to take things light-heartedly, means he's far more likely to develop friendships with them.
Should you become Jack's friend, you probably will have a hard time recognizing it: He'll still pester you. The difference is he'll start including you in his more colorful stories; the ones that are obviously fake.
Hateships:
Jack isn't a very hateful person, and internally really doesn't want anyone to get hurt. But as usual his inability to express his true feelings shoots himself in the foot, as he will goad people who are aggressive towards him, as though he weren't worried about the threat of violence.
Loveships:
Jack has eyes only for Abbigail. Too bad he won't actually say it out loud. Instead he pretends she's this annoying friend he has to put up with...The closest he gets to being actually romantic with her is sitting around a campfire when they're in the wilderness on some world, where he'll fill the silence with fanciful stories of brave knights and monstrous snakes and anything else he can imagine, obviously making them up on the fly, but telling them with the intensity of someone who had seen them with his own eyes.
