| As always the sun shone brightly in Twilight Town. Hawke had gone to run errands before he turned in for the night. He didn't really have any plans for the evening besides shopping, he wondered if anything interesting was going to happen at the market today. Most likely not, Twilight Town was tame compared to the worlds Mathias had been on. And right now, that's all Hawke wanted.
The market had a low hum of busyness about it. Few shoppers picked through the wares displayed. Hawke himself held a basket in the crook of his elbow, examining the different products. He didn't need much in the way of food, but it was always best to be prepared for the unexpected. The a breeze carried the scent of baking bread through the open air of the market. The setting sun combined with the aroma cast an almost romantic atmosphere over the area, one Hawke would capitalize on if he were with someone he was pursuing.
As he finished up his shopping he saw something familiar. A young woman standing nearby. The he didn't recognize the woman herself, but her style of clothing was similar to what a person from Yindse would wear. Hawke's curiosity got the better of him and he went up to speak with the woman.
"Pardon me for asking miss, but are you from Yindse?" |

Her heart was torn into pieces, she missed them both already. Tears had been on her face all day, she had attempted to make herself feel slightly better by venturing into Twilight town, a world she has yet to actually explore. There was many wares, many things that burned her pocket, but she had absolutely no heart to buy a single one. What was the point? Even those closest to her fell to some sort of shadows of the heartless, she could still just replay the horrid scene... The cruel scene over and over, not even a good bye.
What made it worst was that she had awoken in a fantasy word, a horrid fantasy world... One that after a few days from the experience she had came to realize was a test, one for the keyblade. One that she had failed, failed so horribly. So here she stood, not noticing the sweet warm bread smell, not a single shiny pretty jewel... Or even cute dress. Just stood staring empty minded, wishing it all to stop, just fade away.
She reached out halfheartedly toward one of the merchants wares, not even caring that her black scales showed, not even caring if he did or did not judged her. Just gently touching the air around the ware she reached for, an item that haven't even registered what it was. A golden jeweled snake, something she would have been deathly afraid of. A voice sounded behind her making her jump from the shock, she slowly turned toward the voice. Some sort side of her hoped it was one of them... One of those keybladers that had left, vanished, just... Disappeared.
What she instead found was a face she wasn't even slightest familiar with, she blinked a few times tears starting to gather in her eyes. Her disappointment hit her hard, the longer she stared at the random stranger the more she felt her heart shatter. It wasn't either of them... Them who came back hurt.. Them who one by one vanished... It wasn't either... of her friends. She attempted to hold it together, some strength she was royalty... It was her duty, to keep it to..geth..er... "I-I aaam..." Was all her words could escape before bile completely blocked the ability to speak. Tears forming and soon flooding from her eyes.
Trying to stay strong she attempted to shake it off, attempted to pull it together.. Out here in the open, no this wasn't right. They mustn't see this. An attempt to pull it back together, rubbing the tears from her eyes, looking as regal as possible... She attempted once more to speak... but it all sounded like a mix weak of blubberish. "whyemhlu do-dohyouask..." Her words were out she began to gasp for air, as if it was her last strand of holding it together. It was obvious she was breaking apart, probably best to run.

| He wasn't sure what he was expecting, but it certainly wasn't this woman crying right in front of him. The tears streamed down her face and her eyes were swollen from the act. "I'm sorry did I catch you at a bad time?" Hawke asked. "Can I help you with something?" In the woman's hands was a golden snake figurine. It sparkled in the fading sunlight, the reflected light caught Hawke's eyes and caused him to look down at Trinity's hands. It was then Hawke noticed the scales growing on his conversation partner. Black scales, much like her. It seemed impossible but there was only one person Hawke knew of who grew scales on her body. But it couldn't be her, she was locked away in Yindse Castle.
There was one way to be certain about this. "Trinity?" Hawke inquired. "Trinity Mouser? Is that you?" Mathias' memories supplied the name of this woman for the nobody man. Hawke was amazed that the girl cursed in horrendous form would be allowed out in public. What was Yindse's plot with her? The poor maiden likely had no idea what she was being used for, a pawn in the royals game. |

She just shook her head no at his questions still trying to look as professional regal as she possibly ever could. Then he said something odd, the guy asked if she was Trinity, and almost knew exactly who she was. She felt even more guilt in her heart, now the person knew she was royalty, and she was probably ruining the royal name.
This time she took a deep breath, still completely unaware holding onto the snake. Something in his voice, now the she could focus in on it sounded familiar. When she suddenly realized just who it was, her eyes went wide from shock and she seemingly found her voice. "Ma-Ma-Mathias!" She blinked several times shaking her head, it wasn't possible... Wasn't he missing or presumed dead? It didn't matter, someone she actually kinda knew.
Immediately she wrapped her arms around his waist practically letting herself cry even more, the snake... she still unaware of... was in her hand. When it finally slowed down, and she felt a little better she pulled away eyes staring into the ground. so-so-sorry..." she mumbled super low, the snake now behind her back... The merchant owner beginning to glare at her, debating on accusing the couple in front of his stand of thievery.
