It had been a very busy week between Emilio, Lilith, and just getting his life back in order. He had been on mission after mission, mostly just little trivial things... Almost like Lilith was getting him back for his actions with the whole Emilio situation, and well... turning down her invitation. Maybe he should have accepted? No way, that wasn't who he was. He rather enjoyed these small little missions, if she ever actually got a heart and spent time with him, he may actually be able to spend time with her.
Well lucky for him, she became so busy today there wasn't a single mission listed for him. He was off the hook, she will let him take a break, he just knows it. With the new shop owner, a cute small long brown hair girl, supposedly the shop's owner daughter... She actually changed the business hours to 24hrs, so now there was constant flow of customers into the shop even during the sleeping hours. At least she was nice enough to let Nagi sit there, why she even sometimes flirted with him, something he paid absolutely no attention to. Why even now like a stalker she stared through the window, why did he let her Father get killed? Maybe he should tell the girl that he killed the guy... No, he liked his metal chair seat too much, it'll be heart breaking for him.
He had taken the time to order a cool ice lemonade, one that she made... The one that oddly had strawberries... Who puts strawberries in lemonade, maybe he should just kill the girl. Let the bank run the coffee shop. Well the moon shined brightly, few customers coming in and out... Nagi stared up into the sky thoughts lost of Lilith and their last date... He could still smell the sweet sweet fire in the air, the screams of the silly Somebodies running. A joyful grin crossed his face, ah... sweet sweet misery.

| JUST CAN'T STOP I CAME BACK HAUNTED NOW I'VE GOT SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO SEE. THEY PUT SOMETHING INSIDE OF ME. THE SMILE IS RED AND ITS' EYES ARE BLACK. I DON'T THINK I'LL BE COMING BACK | 0000 WORDS @tag @gingerfrost2 notes sorry: kinda meh.
| On the ridge-line of the roof opposite, Scorpius leaned one shoulder against a crooked chimney-stack, crouched with his limbs tucked in like a spiders'. Neon purple eyes glowed, staring, watching, glinting at the Heartless seated on the metal chair below. Sipping lemonade, yellow-red. Scorpius breathed in through half-parted lips. The links in his mind sparking and crackling with curiosity. So. This was the Heartless, was it? Liliths' darling. Scorpius' mouth curled into a faint snarl. Then, rolling backward, he slid lightly down the far side of the roof headfirst, caught the gutter with the toes of his boots. He hung swinging for a moment, then tumbled down only to land noiseless and catlike on the street below.
Scorpius craved chaos. He sought it out. Dabbled with it, practiced it, created it: such exquisite works of art. So, when chaos flooded his own mind, he observed it with a kind of fascination. Now, strolling around the corner toward the little coffee shop, Scorpius let his conflicting, unsettling urges wash over him without resistance. His own mind - always craving puzzles, tearing itself apart with boredom - couldn't work this mess out.
Nagi. Father.
What did Scorpius know of fathers? What did Lilith need with this clown, this Snake? Hadn't they been happy all these years, just mother and son? As a child it was stay away, stay away. That heartless, with the white-haired brat? Stay away from him. No explanation. No word of who he was; Scorpius merely accepted the order without question. Perhaps he was a keyblader. Some minion of the Light.
But now? Now Scorpius knew, and mother disappeared with this Heartless for hours on end. Hissing between his teeth, Scorpius drew near the slender, dark-haired figure seated alone.
Nagi's face. He didn't realize it, but Scorpius wanted to see Nagi's face. Perhaps it would mirror his own.
His very resentment gave Scorpius away. So strange, that he should feel a sense of abandonment. Buried deep, a little daydream flickered under all those shadows; words of approval. Some gesture of acceptance, of acknowledgement that Scorpius was Nagi's son. Scorpius remained blind to all of this: all he wanted was to see who this Heartless was. Time to play: toying and tearing away, to see the little gears spin round and round.
Without so much as asking, Scorpius slid into the seat across from Nagi, one arm hanging off the back of the chair, the other resting on the nearby windowsill. A thin, twisted grin pulled at the corners of his mouth.

It was then he started to pick up hissing coming from near by. His head ever slowly turned toward the hissing intruder, eyes growing slight slits of annoyance. Who was this approaching? It better not be another job that Lilith plans to give him, this was his day off and he planned to take it. The approacher smelled of darkness, moved in expertise of a well trained fighter, this was no ordinary messenger.
The heartless ever so expertly slid into the seat across from him, an arm hanging off the back of the chair the other resting on the windowsill the table sat right next to. A twisted grin line crossed the the corners of the Heartless face. Nagi's right eyebrow went up at this new little facade, was this Lilith's attempt to get him to give up his own little facade?
Well, if this was how she plan to play, he'll just have to play along won't he? Then again, should he cause a little harm, maybe she'll personally see him. A sly twisted grin, almost mimicking the newcomer's crossed his own face. "Here for the coffee? Heard its divine, why not go try a glass?" He personally hated coffee more than anything, in fact just by saying that he hinted that he didn't really want this other presence here.

| Scorpius watched as Nagi's face split into a grin. "Here for the coffee? Heard it's divine, why not go try a glass?" "Two seconds and already you're trying to poison me." Scorpius looked Nagi over. First impressions meant everything. Wasnt' that right? Well, Nagi struck him as being smooth. Creeping, twisting, dark: like a snake weaving in and out among stones. Every inch a Heartless. To think that, once upon a time, Scorpius thought this creature belonged to the light. But there was something about him that seemed...Scorpius couldn't quite put his finger on it. Broken, maybe.
A waitress stepped outside, frilly skirt rustling against the door frame, ready to take an order. Scorpius let his head fall over the back of the chair. White throat bare in a smooth curve. Topsy-turvy: the girl hung upside-down with the back of his head against cool metal. What round, wide eyes she had, Scorpius thought, like the wolf in the fairy tale. Such a fun little look of surprise: it tickled him. "Mmm. What do you have besides... coffee? And that lab experiment?" Scorpius pointed at Nagi's glass of lemonade."W-well, we have a very nice -" "Splendid. Why don't you bring me one. Put a lemon in it. And sugar on the brim." The waitress nodded, and minced away with her arms pressed against her sides.
After the girl disappeared into the shop, the Heartless raised his head to stare at Nagi once more. How to begin? A little jab? Or something to draw him out? Look at those eyes: Scorpius wanted to peek into Nagi's mind and listen to it whirr. A few moments passed before he spoke. "You looked a little lonely, sitting here by yourself. Poor way to pass an evening, don't you think?"

Poison? Why doesn't he catch on fast? The waitress came back, he watched the little new intruder making a sly move to bare his throat, a rather smooth curve for a throat. The stranger little heartless boy began to speak, a predator, rather smoothly to the girl. Where did Lilith drag this one from? Some random future universe with little pricks running around?
Once the order was complete, Nagi's eye brow and eyes went slightly sharp with interest. Lemon? With sugar, rather one with refined taste. Well wasn't that just a lovely accordance? When the waitress had completely vanished from sight, the intruder turned his attention to him. The eyes, something about them, almost as if, an enigma trying to solve something.
The intruder began to speak again, pointing out how he was "alone" and was rather a poor way to pass the evening? Oooh? Wasn't this rather nice, one mocking his own little personal territory. A dangerous little glee lite up in his eye, as he had accepted the challenge. "Why, how would you spend an evening such as this? Running around flirting with little Somebodies, I hope not." He leaned the glass slightly, almost as if the glass was the conversation, the ice the puzzles, the liquid the mind.

| Scorpius saw that little spark of happiness in Nagi's eyes, and a rush of excitement filled his thin frame. Time to play. Such a sweet look, so nice that his father was up for the game.
"Why, how would you spend an evening such as this? Running around flirting with little Somebodies, I hope not."
Scorpius' face split in another grin. He sat there, half enjoying and half resenting Nagi's jab. "Flirting? No, no. That is your game, I think." A dangerous glint flickered in his eye, like a static shock.
"Such evenings are best spent in play, wouldn't you say?" Cocking his head to look past Nagi, Scorpius spotted a young boy carrying a stack of wood to his house, face streaked with soot and an expression of worry in his large grey eyes. "See there. What do you think is going on in that little head? Sad eyes: soot streaks. Cruel, cruel father, perhaps. Our waitress, now there's an easy face to read, so easy. Like pages spread out. You..." Scorpius looked at Nagi, a hungrier glint in his eye. "What do you hear? Minds, like clockwork. A little tap -" Scorpius brought his forefinger down on the windowsill. Thud. "Tightwound, they fall apart."
Scorpius scraped paint off the sill with one finger. Flakes gathered under his nail, slicing pale skin. One beadlet of blood swelled out and left a dark streak. The Heartless paid it no mind. Instead, he stared at Nagi without smiling.
"You're nothing like I expected. You look so... human."
