Personality

The largest aspect of Hawke's personality is his need to be independent. He marches best to the beat of his own drum. He doesn't see a problem when what he does hurts someone, even if it's someone he will usually show feelings for, not that he actually has feelings, like all Nobodies, he just fakes it.

He resents nearly all forms of authority. It's a hold over from his life as Mathias. He dislikes being told what to do and will often go out of his way to do the exact opposite. He tends to respond to people in authority with sarcasm.

Hawke hardly ever gives a straight answer when asked a question. He is especially secretive about his past life as Mathias Mouser. He prefers his Nobody status that he has now.

History

Born as Mathias Mouser, the man currently known as Hawke was no where in line for the Yindse throne. He was the third son of the king's sibling. From an early age he questioned why he needed to act like royalty if he stood no chance of inheriting the throne.

One day, Mathias was visiting his with his cousins. His younger cousin Trinity had been attacked by what appeared to be a large black snake. All assembled watched with horror as the young girl began growing snake scales. And such was the last time Mathias saw his unfortunate cousin. Though he often ask after her but the answer was always the same: "It doesn't concern you."

When Mathias' twentieth birthday came around he had had enough of being told what to do and how to live his life. He snuck into the Gummi Garage late one night and stole the new prototype Gummi Ship. He then promptly crashed it in a nearby world due to his inexperience in piloting. For the next couple of years he lived on the small backwater world, learning how to be independent.

Tragedy struck this world however. Heartless poured in and soon overwhelmed any opposition against them. Mathias was cornered and consumed. His will lived on though, and soon his body and soul awoke on a new world. He took a new name for his new life. Hawke.

Twilight Town accepted their newest citizen without much pomp or circumstance. They never suspected that the mysterious man called Hawke was a man without a heart, a Nobody, strong enough to retain his old form. They just know him as the eccentric man who never talks about his past.
