Che dothras che drivos You suddenly awaken.
Standing alone in nothing but pitch blackness. Soon the floor begins to light up around your feet. Quickly spreading outwards, tearing away the darkness. The darkness flies away, like crows. Revealing that you're standing on a large circular platform. A tall glass pillar can be seen off in the distance. However, there is no way to get to it.
The floor is made of illuminated stained glass. It depicts a shadowy figure against a bright fuchsia background. She is laying on her side, almost completely curled up in the fetal position, her dress flowing around her. There is no detail on her. The silhouette is surrounded by four ornate circles. Within these circles are familiar busts. People you hold dear.
"So much to do...So little time."
The calm voice echoes through your mind. There is no one else around so where could it be coming from?
"Take your time...Don't be afraid, the door is still shut...Please, come forward."

Suddenly without any slow pull she was awake, she had awoken to complete utter pitch black darkness. She looked around fear and panic feeling her body making it quiver, almost making her imagine a cool freezing breeze flowing through.
What? How? Why? Where several questions crossing her mind as a sudden light began to shine beneath her spreading faster and faster as black crows flew away. The light was bright she had to cover her own eyes until they adjusted to see what was below.
Then a whisper echoed around her, she looked up from the glass around almost as if expecting to see a figure only to see emptiness all around. She shouted at the voice thinking it was going to respond back, "Hel-hel-hello? Whe-whe-where ar-are you?" Her voice while at first came out strongly gradually dropped in volume from insecurities. She looked one more time around when there was no reply, she shouted again again the voice starting strong than gradually dropping in volume. "Wha-what Door? Hel-hello?"

Che dothras che drivos "...Where am I?....Where are you?...Please come forward, child."
The voice chuckled. The lights start to dim a little, the ground rumbles slightly every ten seconds or so. there are suddenly three glowing orbs around her. Each one about ten paces away. There is one on either side of her, and one in front. They're large, and seem to be made of swirling glowing smoke. They float at around chest level.
"There is a power... A great power that sleeps within you...Or does it?" The voice was more serious than before, but it was also a bit quieter. Inside the orbs items start to form. A staff to Trinity's right, a shield to her left, and in front of her was a sword. However you can't just reach into the orbs to grab them. The smoke is white hot, and will easily sear someone's flesh.
"...Are you wise? Strong? Maybe protective?...What form do you wish it to take?"
The item's orbs start to shed and fall away, like little glowing flower petals. They sizzle as they make contact with the glass floor, catching fire for a split second before going out. Slowly but surely, the orbs became obsolete. One could easily take hold of one or even all of three of these items if they wanted to. Though, the floor around them seems hot.

The voice replied only asking questions of its own, almost a slight mocking tone, not that she really analyzed it. The light around began to dim slightly, followed by the ground in counted measures rumbling. Nervously similar to a little mouse trapped, she was unsure of this place, it was the sort in fairy tales... Was she in a story now?
If she was in a fairy tale was there a good ending? Like all those legendary Keybladers saving the day from evil... No... not save... betray all that was good. The very thought of how silly fairy tales seemed to be, only hurt her heart more. Why did they do, what they did? They were keybladers, so great, made for legends... Saving worlds... Her two friends, leaving her and Lara all alone...
A part of her wanted to reach out toward the floating orbs... A childish part, the part that hoped by some miracle it'll make everything go away... But another side wanted to turn away, to leave all this, this was just a story all made up... all a lie...
Again the voice spoke, again she looked around confused not quite understanding. She practically begged the voice to show itself, "Please, would you show yourself? Stop speak in-in such Ri-ri-riddles! This is not Fairy Tale!" A silence came overhead.
All she could do was follow the story, just like all those days hidden in the library... All those days searching for her own Prince Charming... her own hero... only to fall to the wet dirty ground as a failure, one who had lost all that was before her. It wasn't fair, it was just not fair. What was the point of this silly little game? She wasn't part of a story, she was just... That girl behind the bookshelves, learning that books moved around only led to confusion in the library maze. It was hopeless among all those stories, it was all lies among those stories.
Wise? Strong? Protective? They were all just foolish words... She wasn't Wise, she knew so little of all these worlds, about any of it. Strong? That was an even bigger laugh, even with all her training.. She couldn't stop them.. Couldn't just... Step out.. Speak out. She was pathetic, a coward, a wannabe Heroine... All she did was hide now, hide behind her petty little mistakes and cowardness... Protective? She could only wish. She didn't protect her mysterious friend in the woods. She couldn't stop her friends from leaving... Now... Now she wasn't even sure she could protect herself much less others. What worth did she even have?
As her thoughts swam with insecurities and sadness of the past, a part of her just wanted to leave this little "fairy tale", the other... The other that hung on to each day that her curse be lifted, it wanted to hang on still... There was always hope, as long as Somebody kept trying, was that not what all fairy tales aimed at... No, some died, many died... Surely those who died hung on with everything they had. Was it not keybladers who were strongest of heart? and they too fail? A tear fell as she was force with the decision to decide.
She stepped toward the items that were once inside orbs, the floor seeming rather warm to the soles underneath her feet. Her heart knew full well what she wished she was more than anything in the world... The one thing she could never be. She was too silly; too weak. Reaching out and grabbing the item, she pulled back as quickly as possible... Almost like a small tiny mouse grabbing a piece of cheese before the trap was sealed upon its tiny little body. The item she grabbed? The shield, she wanted to protect all those she failed to protect... How she wished she was that... Even though she knew she never could be... never could be any of them... Too weak... To Foolish... And just... Never there... or ever seemed to care...

Che dothras che drivos “But isn't it a fairytale....?” The voice was barely a whisper. It stayed almost deathly quiet after that. Even after Trinity grabbed the shield the voice stayed quiet. The shield glowed faintly in her hands. Heat radiating off of it. Not enough to burn, but not necessarily comfortable as far as heat went.
The other items disappeared with a deafening gunshot sounding BANG. Then the lights went out. Entirely. The only light was the faint glow of the shield. Flickering golden eyes started to appear around her on all sides. Not coming near her, but watching from within the darkness.
“Defense...”
The voice said, loudly, off to side of the platform bright colored stairs started to glow. They lead away from the current pillar to the next.
“Do you really think you have the strength....Or the wisdom... To protect those you care about?”
The voice was quiet, mimicking Trinity's voice and nervousness. It knew her insecurities, it knew everything she was thinking...It was showing that now, in its dialogue.
The flickering eyes started to move closer, they were smaller heartless. Probably shadows. But as they got closer they became more threatening.
“If you can protect yourself, you can continue to the door.”
There was a chance to just run through the dark blindly, hoping that you reached the stairs without getting hurt.. Staying in the current position could be seen as too dangerous.

The shield began to glow, panic began to fill her heart, she did something wrong.. She did something wrong, she just knew she did something wrong... The voice all around began mocking her, this isn't what she wanted.. Why didn't she just choose not to choose? run away?
The shield itself was warm, really warm, like burning hot without actually burning the skin. She actually dropped the shield, the thing clattering a few feet from her. Tears still rimmed her eyes from the little tiny burn, a burn a silly library princess was used to at all. From behind her tears the yellow eyes only blended in the shadows, she held little to no idea that they drew closer and closer. She wiped the tears roughly away, to see the yellow eyes closer, all surrounding her only source of light. Seeing no escape from this horrid nightmare she began to flee, unsure what else to do, only finding the staircase by pure luck of tripping over a step landing painfully on the second.
The collision caused her teeth to bite her tongue causing blood to spew from her mouth. Sniffling tears away, she climbed a couple of steps, only to remember... The shield.. The one that burned her... It was... it was her hope... Looking around, she climbed the staircase part away before jumping down from a high point... Luckily a skill set that Lara had taught her, the landing was at best alright still however painful. The ump itself allowed her to distance herself from the yellow blinking eyes near the staircase, only to run into a group off three guarding the shield.
Taking a deep breath she recalled the correct moves of a ballroom dancer, closed her eyes and with a heart full of hope began to barely dodge the creatures all around. However miss a stepped, grew too weak, too insecured. She hit a shadow slicing her arm painfully, feeling of sadness slamming onto her for reasons she could not understand. Lucky for her she landed near the shield, but it still burned her delicate princess skin. With grinding teeth, blood still spewing from her mouth, sadness and depression feeling her very being she ran with tears in her eyes toward the staircase. She swung the shield back and forth attempting to defeat the heartless to get there, but wasn't even sure if she was going the right way to make it out alive.

Che dothras che drivos Luckily for Trinity, bashing the shield into the heartless was more than helpful. It knocked them back, giving the princess a path to run down. But it only stopped them from attacking for a small amount of time. They fell back, shook off the attack and launched at Trinity again. Biting, scratching, trying to pull her down to their level.
Thankfully, she is heading the right way to the staircase. The heartless can't follow her up the stairs. Some invisible force is holding them back. No matter how many times they circle around and try to launch themselves onto the staircase. They just smack into the empty air and hit the ground.
However, there is a much more dangerous situation at hand. The higher she climbs, the faster the stairs behind her begin to fall away. Fracturing and shattering, the colorful illuminated pieces plummeting down into the darkness. Destroying any way for her to turn back now. If Trinity isn't careful, or speedy as a mouse, she'll meet a similar fate to the lost stairs. Falling and falling into the abyss.
It isn't far now, the next pillar is almost within reach. Though it seems darker than the last pillar. Maybe it'll light up once she steps on it? Who knows. A rather sad sigh can be heard somewhere in the darkness. Could it be the voice?

She tripped landed flat on the staircase, her back going close and closer to the stair edge before touching, no where left to run... But the creatures.. the shadow creatures... They didn't approach, the were scared? Repelled? Was the fairy tail in effect preventing her harm? Was it the shield, no not the shield. She took a few breaths but suddenly the step she sat on began to shake, the steps before that fell. With a slight cuss of the mouth she turned tail and began to climb up unsure what else to do. Why won't this fairy tail end? Should she just fall, would she wake up? No... that was not how a fairy tail should end.. it should end happily. Right?
There almost within reach was a very dark creepy pillar, should she reach it? The steps themselves they weren't acting right, it didn't matter... She didn't have time to second guess anything, all could she does was have faith that this little fairy tail will have a happy ending... She couldn't even curse the voice for this little charade, no time left...

Che dothras che drivos
As soon as Trinity’s feet made contact with the next pillar, the darkness fled from the pillar. Like thousands of snakes, hissing as they slithered and writhed off of the pillar. As if her very presence terrified them more than falling to their deaths. As the darkness retreated it revealing the illuminated floor. It was almost identical to the last pillar in design The major differences were in the background and the main silhouette.
Instead of fuschia, the background color is a bright yellow. It’s not a blinding yellow, but it comes rather close. The figure in the middle has more color to her. No longer just a shadow. a few more details are visible as well in every region except for her face. She looks very similar to Trinity, but the face is still missing.
“Your choice was fitting…. But time is still against us.. Come closer… There is still so much to do”
In the very middle of the pillar is a circle starting to become visible. It’s light shimmers in all the colors of the rainbow. It is just big enough to stand in, and seems to be calling to you.

As soon as she stepped onto the pillar the sound of hissing moving black shadows fleeing as quickly as possible. Just after the little panic dance she had on the floor below, this floor cause her to yelp dropping the shield and throwing her body weight into a jump 6ft distance from the shield. Landing on the ground she squeezed her eyes closed for longest of seconds daring not to look, wishing the snakes away, having little to no energy or courage to face her greatest of all fears.
Slowly realizing that maybe she was just being silly she opened her eyes to see a bright yellow platform below. She gave a gasp at how the yellow made her filled with nostalgia joy, all the bad experiences before seemed to fade away in a memory. She gradually picked herself off from her little sitting scared position to get a better look. She couldn't quite figure out who the figure was, maybe the figure was important? A hero perhaps? Maybe the voice? "Vo-vo-voice is-is-is tha-tha-that yo-yo-you?!" she shouted voice shaking more than usual, mostly due to out of breath and courage.
Just as she considered the figure in to be the voice, the voice echoed once again. She again looked around thinking it was in the room right there, not quite catching on it was a voice in her head. Time? What time? What did it speak of... Come closer to what?
Then she saw it in the middle of the pillar a circle... It was so pretty with various shimmers of colors and a rainbow of design. It caught her breath, she wanted to reach out.. She reached out toward the circle, her thoughts forgetting the shield. Completely stepping onto the platform it suddenly occurred to her. The shield! Immediately panic filled her, she attempted to leave the circle regretting to leave the object she worked so hard to get behind. It was because of those imaginary snakes! She was so lost in her fear she forgot the shield!

Che dothras che drivos The voice remains completely silent. Who else could it be? As if there were any other voices around here. Its silence should be more than an answer for the princess.
Once inside the circle, the colors brighten, and start to form about an ankle high barrier around Trinity. Any attempt to leave the pretty shimmering circle results in searing pain. Pain that shoots up from her feet to the top of her head, then back down again. As if thousands of needles were being shot through her veins.
Though the shield is not lost. Nor is it out of Trinity's reach. There is suddenly a weight on her back. Something heavy and bulky is somehow suddenly strapped to her. The shield seemed to have responded to her wanting it, slowly appearing on her in some strange act of sorcery.
Suddenly the circle glows even brighter, the barrier shooting up into the dark sky. Trapping the princess in a giant tube of multicolored lights. The colors shimmered as they drifted around the barrier, not unlike nighttime auroras. The brightness of them however, is starting to become unbearable. She can't see past the barrier, and it's brightness is starting to reach that of the sun's. Blinding the poor girl within a matter of seconds.
With the sudden brightness, there is a loud screeching sound in Trinity's ears. Blocking out all other sounds and probably giving her one painful headache. It seemed as though it lasted forever.
The bright white light started to fade, what felt like the actual sun taking it's place. Once she can open her eyes and vision returns to her. Trinity will find herself in a completely different location. Instead of on an illuminated platform; the princess is standing in what seems to be a garden. A very large, gorgeous garden. Filled with all sorts of luscious plants. Some recognizable, some not, some extremely exotic, and some rare. She is standing in a small paved circle, about 20 feet in diameter.
There is no obvious trail leading out of this spot into the garden. The plants seem too dense. There is a breeze, and with it the strong scent of roses. There also seems to be birds chirping in the distance. Distracting her from the sound of something sliding through the plants behind her.
"What do you want out of life?" Something hissed, echoing throughout the garden. It's quiet voice was very similar to the voice from before. Suddenly something starts to rustle around in the bushes in front of Trinity, as well as to either side. From the bushes. Three mice.
Each mouse has something in it's tiny paws. The one in front has a friendship locket, the one on the left has a book; representing knowledge. And the one on the right has a heart. Obviously representing love.
The slithering creature from before continues to lurk in the plants, unseen, but definitely heard. Circling and circling, waiting for her answer.

Just as she was attempting to leave sudden sheer of pain of thousands of needles shot up and back down her body. Causing the body causing the body to twitch and shake, falling into a set of seizures. Instantly she fell to the ground her legs no longer functioning correctly, her mind blanking out eyes staring into empty space.
Suddenly a heavy weight was on her back, her eyes blinked a few times gradually regaining consciousness... Everything completely blurred going into a gradual foggy focus, only to suddenly hit her crystal clear. THE SHIELD! It had came back! Her whole body returned to its original state before the searing pain, as she felt the shield with her shaking hands.
It still slightly burned, but it was there... It returned... Her mind began reeling what this had meant... That it maybe held a deeper meaning, but before she could dive any deeper the loud annoying Fairy tale narrator began speaking again... She really hated that voice, no.. it was different... She attempted to speak to it, but found her voice no longer worked. A small side effect from the seizure she just had, the muscle completely stiffened and possibly causing her to be mute.
Suddenly in some bushes in front... Three mice... All walking on two feet, all adorable as hell, all caring something precious. She didn't understand, why all the choices? Why did there have to be choices? Last time she choose... An army of shadow creatures attacked, what would happen now?
Was this how all the otherworlds were like? Is that why her friends... her friends... She began croaking tears streaming down... Her friends, went through this sort of thing in all those worlds? Each different? Fairy tales lied... They never told the pain, just the story. She felt her empathy for them rise, this was why.. Why the legends betrayed their legends... Why the heroes became the villains, just why... Why did everything have to be so deceitful?
She felt utterly sickened by the book, it lied... It led her astray, again and again.. Everything... The monsters she ran into, they weren't anywhere in the library. Those from the other world.. The vampire, the werewolf... her brother... Just why did the stories play out like this. Knowledge... It was nothing, it wasn't truth. Knowledge lied, just like blissfulness... Just like everything.
The heart, why was a mouse holding such an ugly thing... It still lived..still pure... Just why did it pump blood in the mouse fingers. What did it mean? Why a heart? She blinked a few times, it suddenly hitting her... love... But it was... Her pain hit harder, there was no love. Who loved her? Saved her from the curse. Little did she understand just how deep it was, how it truly felt.
Then.... A small small silver locket with a four leaf clover... it held open showing a picture inside... a picture of all those she considered so closely smiling... Lying, deceiving with those stupid Smiles. Just why? Why so close, but hidden behind smiles such pain? All those flowers picked, the berries picked, the the... Pancakes she made... They all enjoyed them, so... Why did they not tell her the pains? This? About the shadow underneath the pages? Behind the stories...
She began looking around for the voice, still not catching on it was inside her mind... Her mind acking to just... Just... Speak! She didn't want to choose, they were all... All... just lies! Filthy little lies hiding behind.... Sugar coated words, happy smiles... and and... False hopes. The inner emotional pain caused another pain inside her... One that quickly turned to frustration at her inability to speak out, to question to just... Do something!
She with a daring heart attempted once more to leave, only to have a worst seizure before... Causing her left leg and right arm to spazz out on the ground, dirt and grass stains smearing on her dress. When the convulsion ended, again her mind was completely empty gradually defogging, only to suddenly becoming clear what she should do.
Her working left hand reached out for the shield, slightly shaking from the shock... Voice still mute... Right arm completely stiffened and useless, left leg luckily recovering... With the shield slipped off... She angrily painfully slammed the shield on all three crushing the bones below, then swinging the shield in a swipe motion to sling all three bodies off the plateform to the chasm below... Only evidence of the whole transaction the fur, human heart skin, two pages, and a small piece of the picture left on the ground... only blood and fur on the shield. Absolutely no thought, insecurity, or guilt went through her, her mind completely dazed from the seizures and whole experience.

Che dothras che drivos The mice go out screaming. Their voices linger even after they’ve been snuffed out. Growing more distorted as they slowly fade out. Their remains start to stink almost immediately afterwards though. As if they had been baking in the sun for days. The charms the mice once held have shriveled and turned to ash. Along with the shield the princess had been wielding moments before. After a few moments a soft rattle can be heard behind Trinity.
The rattling grows louder, and the ground begins to shake as something large starts slithering up to her. At this point the rattle is loud enough to put an aircraft engine to shame. The creature is practically upon her as it starts to rise up above her.
“You disgusting child.” Something hisses, the ground begins to crack at the sound of the voice. Slowly the cracks widen and turn to fractures.
“HOW DARE YOU?!.”
The voice bellows, causing the floor to completely give out, sending Trinity and the large creature spiraling down. At this rate she may be able to see, that the voice was coming from a giant snake.
Not a shadow one, or a normal looking one. But a bright white snake. Its scales are almost irridescent and glowing, even in the pitch blackness. As they fall it begins to wrap itself around her. Apparently not too affected by the fact that they’re falling into an abyss.
“YOU HAVE FAILED.”
With those last words the large snake moves to squeeze the life out of the princess. But just prior to doing so they hit something. Hard. The snake suddenly bursting into a cloud of smoke on contact with the ground.. Saving Trinity from that fate, but she still had no cushion from the fall.
She is now on a new platform. Unlike the others this one is plain, there is no mosaic image on it, instead it's just a dim crimson with blacks spattered in random places. Upon closer inspection, it looks like something has melted over the crimson platform to make these splatters.

each little charm began to shrivel and fall into ash.. She however did not notice this, no she was still in a slight daze, gradually regaining her senses. When she did all that was left was horrible smelling mice remains and some sort of odd noise behind her. She didn't hear the noise, all she heard was the horror gasp of what she had done. Her hands attempting to cover her whole face as if that shielded her nose and mind from the scene at hand.
She shook her head mouthing no, no, however she still mute from the seizures not a word escaped. A large voice sounded from behind her making her jump and turn, her hand sticking out as if in protection. Trinity attempted to send every body language signal of apology, confusion, regret, and protection of herself from what was coming.
Backing up from the direction she believed the voice was coming from did absolutely nothing...As it were too late she realized the voice was beneath her, and that she was suddenly tumbling down. Her mouth opened a gawped releasing a loud scared scream. Her phobia in overdrive from the snake squeezing the very life out of her. Suddenly as hope had seem lost that pressure was suddenly released as the snake turned into smoke and vanished into the air.
The girl however did not get off that easy, she landed painfully against the new platform. Her whole body entering the fetal position tears and painful shivering covering her whole body. She wanted this to stop... Make it stop.. She didn't mean to, it was.. it was... Her own darkness? Her own hatred of her friends lies and betrayal.. They weren't suppose to be alive... or real..

Che dothras che drivos Time seemed to pass quickly. the floor's glow seemed to slowly fade, making the platform darker and darker. There was no voice, no movement, just the soft feeling of a breeze blowing over Trinity. Surely it can't stay like this. Not for much longer. The darkness will swallow her up. Devour her from the inside out.
Shadows started to drift across the gray platform. Skittering, barely up above the ground. Hungry little yellow eyes staring at her. It's over, it's over! But they wouldn't get closer to her. In fact, they just moved around the princess. Constantly circling. Waiting for their chance to pounce. Waiting for whatever was holding them back released them.
"Pitiful..."
The voice sounded rather sad, it felt as though it watched her through the tiny glowing eyes of the heartless.
"You must move... You can not stop. Not here. But soon... The door is shut. But you can not stay here. All will be lost."
The shadow heartless started to rise up above the floor a bit, just enough for it's whole head to be completely visible. Then another one followed suit. And another. And another. Until they were all around her, and starting to stack up as well. Jumping up on top of each other to get a better view of the girl.
