Appearance

While Simeon is pretty low on fashion style, he does tend to dye his hair a lot. Most of the time its more of a reddish color due to the dye that he likes to get, but sometimes (depending on his mood) he'll do other colors that are more natural. He has the habit of wearing casual clothes, long sleeves, t-shirts, jeans. He's usually found wearing headphones, listening to his music. 

He's very average sized and rather thin in stature. He eats very little and smokes a lot. He's not the keenest fighter and would rather sit in the back and take out people one by one as a sniper. One shot, one kill. Being a gamer has taught him that. 

You will never see Sim without his goggles. They are like his lucky charm. He doesn't go anywhere without them. Especially since it was Solomon who got them for him. He isn't the strongest of people, but he could very well be the fastest and smartest. He runs rather frequently and uses quick street smarts and critical thinking to get himself out of sticky situations. He's ran in plenty of marathons and races and has a wall lined with gold. 

Personality

LAID BACK: Simeon is a rather chill kind of guy. Seems almost careless compared to the life around him. This is the facade that he has chosen to wear. He can seem rather indecisive when it comes to making any kind of decision, big or little. Mostly he just doesn't care whether his cake is chocolate or vanilla. He likes them both and will be happy with both. Sim is also rather sarcastic. He's formed his own level of sarcasm, going back and forth between a subtle dry humor to a very humid and personal kick in the butt. Its the way he communicates to the rest of the world. But if he truly wants to be mean with his words he'll talk about you sarcastically to someone else when in front of you. But thats not very often. His jokes may seem rude, but are simply what they are, jokes.

TAME: While it can be very easy to tell when Sim is upset, its usually because of the humor and words that he speaks. Other then that he'll be absolutely silent and distant in behavior. There was only once when he went ballistic and that was when his parents told him who he really was. Other then that Sim is a very tame kitty cat. Even if he's attacked or personally offended he'd rather walk away or ignore the situation rather then yell or freak out. Its almost impossible for Sim to really get mad at someone. However, he does hold grudges, even if they don't seem to be noticeable. 

GAMER: Simeon is a major gamer. Name a video game and he's probably already finished playing it, even the crappy ones. Its his form of escape and the new way for him to runaway from real life. A lot of times he'll even reference a game or pretend that he's actually part of one. He's got no real sense of "one life reality" and tends to get himself into trouble just for the rush of it and the ability to compare it to a game.

BITTER: Did I already mention that Simeon holds grudges? Most of the time they really aren't a big deal. Like... He cares very little for the families that took him in and then gave him up. But the bitterness that he holds for his own parents is almost unbearable, to the point where he refuses to be anywhere near them. This bitterness is only meant for them and them only. No one else will experience this kind of emotion from him. 

PRODIGY: When it comes to critical thinking and solving problems Sim is a genius. He got straight A's in school despite his harsh lifestyle, and he can pick up and play most instruments he sets his eyes on. Although those aren't his passions. Where he really excels Is in running and his energy abilities. He has absolutely perfect control, but never uses them in front of others. 

LOYAL: While Sim is quite the quite and introverted character and doesn't open up or make friends well, once he does make a friend he will be most infinitely loyal to them even going as far as to visit them in the mental hospital or to take up the blame for what the other did. He's not the most emotional of people, so he probably won't make any cards or buy chocolate. He's more likely to give you technical presents like fixing a broken chair or cooking a nice dinner for the night. He may buy you a video game or two though if he knows you enjoy them.

HARDWORKING: While Sim may seem like a lazy person at times thats mostly because he's already finished the work that he had for the day. He can sometimes get bothered by messes and broken objects and so once seen will probably go to fix it or clean it up. He also works really hard at his given job, which most of the time isn't customer service (which he sucks at.) 

INTROVERTED: Simeon is so introverted its not even funny. While he will go along with a crowd of people, he's more likely to go just to sit and watch or to listen to music or play his video games. And he's a very passive kind of person. He's more likely to talk behind your back if upset then he is to face you directly. Also, he isn't much of a fighter. Sure, he knows how and could totally beat someone's ass with his speed and fire attacks, but he would much rather sit in the back row and watch from a distance and if he is threatened then a quick gun shot to the heart should do the trick.

History

It all started with a parent's deep love for their two children. Sadly, it seemed that no matter what they did they would hurt the one's they loved so dearly. They were forced to send away the youngest son into a family that ended up not being able to take him in. The elder son became locked under key, restricted by rules and curfews. It was inevitable that both boys would be effected, neither knowing of the other's existence. Both grew up with power. One with the ability to absorb all natural energy. The other having been born with the natural ability to control energy. But because he was too young to have known that when he was sent away, his parents never found out.

For after all, he did gain perfect control over his abilities.

He never told anyone about his growing powers, but he taught himself how to use them in secret. It started out with the manipulation of heat. It was simple for him to master the ability to manipulate heat. He could have been considered some kind of prodigy. He was brilliant in classes, getting straight A's and played music exceptionally well. He excelled at running races and track and field were his main events.

But since the first house couldn't take him he went into foster care. Jumping from house to house to house. Living with different families. While Simeon was generally a quiet and rather laid back kid he couldn't stand the idea that he would have to move again. So he never got comfortable. He became a run away. The moment he would find out that a family couldn't keep him he would leave everything he had and run away. Even though Radiant gardens was a rather small world it would take them days to find him. And they always brought him back. He would never voluntarily go back to them, and they would move him on to the next house.

In his younger ages, he certainly wasn't as smart as he thought he was. He was running running away starting at the age of six. It was how he strengthened his legs to what they are now. But the first time he ran away he bumped into another kid that went by the name of Solomon. Instantly Simeon began to look up to and respect this older boy. He only came out any night and told him that it was because he had dangerous powers that were difficult to control throughout the day.

After meeting Sol the first time and being caught by the police the next day, Simeon would sneak out after curfew as often as he could to go see his friend. All other people quickly became acquaintances. Not because he simply didn't like people, but because they didn't stop and try to get to know him like Sol did. He was just too laid back and careless to approach with deep conversations. Or that was what it seemed. He'd go along with the crowd, never judging, but hardly ever actually participating.

This lasted until Simeon was ten years old. One day, Sol didn't show up to their meeting place when they were supposed to hang out. And he didn't show up for a week after that. He even went to Sol's house and peeked inside the house, his parents were there, but not him. He was gone. 

It wasn't until the next day that he heard about the accident. For thats certainly what it had been an accident. He KNEW that Solomon wouldn't purposefully hurt anyone. So he went to the institution during a time that Solomon's parents weren't there. He visited his friend as often as would be allowed. That is... until the ward told him that he had "died." Died? How had he died? There had been a control accident from what he had been told. 

After that his running away got worse. Since there was no one who would take the time to ask him what was going on, Simeon would leave the house in the middle of the night and just hide, with nothing but his goggles. When he became 13 years old he took up the habit of smoking. It was his way of dealing with emotions and crap. Tobacco only. He became absolutely addicted to it, brought a box of cigarettes and a lighter wherever he went. That box would be gone by the end of the day. Where did he get his stash? It wasn't difficult. He'd do petty jobs that gave him bits of money and he'd spend it on cigs. 

During his "middle school years" he managed to run into the teen known as Rhys several times. At first Simeon was rather wary of him, but after a few times of talking they quickly connected and became good friends despite both of their introverted personalities. Simeon even hung out at Rhys's house whenever he ran away or just needed a place to crash. He'd go over to Rhys's whenever he was bored or upset. In return he kept Rhys company within his mother's house. 

Even after Rhys moved out of his own mother's house and went to move into an apt by himself Simeon continued to crash at his place. But at the age of sixteen he tried to stop running away and instead used his energy to start working and running. Running professionally. But wouldn't his smoking ruin his chance to run while destroying his lungs? He actually found that smoking enhanced his abilities, his energy abilities. For some reason his lungs stayed completely healthy. He'd never been able to find out why it did that, but he cared very little for it. 

Continuing to practice his abilities in secret, Simeon started looking for who his real family was. He'd looked before, but no one would tell him anything. Everyone had closed mouths and even kept his last name from him so that he was forced to take on whatever last name the family he'd been living with had at the time. 

It wasn't until after he became 18 and started living in the same apt as Rhys that Solomon's parents came and told him who his family was and that Sol was his own brother. This triggered a rather dark and rare side of Simeon. Even with Rhys being there he became hysterical and even kicked his own parents out of the apartment, telling them that he never wanted to see them again. This part of Sim had only been seen once and never again. After that he avoided his parents as much as possible.
