| | It was a quiet morning. The weather was nice as always, and there was a large influx of birds in one of the parks. More and more started to show up the more bird seed the heartless tossed at them. They were cute and practically fearless. They hopped around his feet, and on the bench next to Eros.
Some of them were so close he was feeding them out of the palm of his gloved hand. He smiled contently. It was a good way to start the day. However, Eros had been so used to spending time around others, it was strange being alone. He would have invited his now "roommate" but. This wasn't really Milo's scene. If anything he'd probably try to fight the birds.
That would be fun to watch. But it didn't change the fact that Eros felt lonely. Surrounded by at least 20 little lives, and he still felt alone. Some of the birds had started to hop onto his lap and on his shoulders. fearless little hungry things. Eros couldn't help but let out a small laugh. Who said heartless couldn't enjoy things like this? He felt almost like a stereotypical princess. No doubt he looked like one.
Eros continued to throw the food to them, only now humming a rather quiet tune. He heard it on a movie he saw recently. It was some family show. It was childish, but "timeless" according to the lady at the movie store. So he got it and watched it.
In fact, the movie is what gave him the idea to feed the birds. It was kind of silly now that he thought about it.

I SIT AROUND JUST TO WATCH THE CLOUDS ► Abigail loved Twilight Town. It was one of her favorite places to visit. This was one of the reasons why she was here. It was the first time she'd been off of Radiant Gardens since the accident with Solomon saving her from Kotako's... Whatever it was he did. She wanted her first time out to be alone, but simply and refreshing. Twilight Town just seemed to be the best place for her to go. Not to mention it was the perfect place to skate. Upon her head she wore her purple hood and down at her feet she stood on a violet surfaced skateboard. She rode down the street, push push pushing the skateboard with her right foot, her hands in her jacket pocket just in case they decided to have an episode. Then seeing a railing leading down a line of stairs close to her approximate position she smiled. Picking up some speed she shifted her weight and jumped, flipping the skateboard under her feet she landed on the railing with the middle of her skateboard riding it like a wave with a surfboard. The grinding sound was quick and sharp as she then launched herself from the railing and landed on her wheels nearly perfectly. And she came to a halt there. Looking up she noticed that she had probably scared the birds that were nearby for they were flying around in a tissy. With her eyebrows knit she kicked her skateboard up and caught it in her hand. Then she leaned it against the stairs and began to make clicking sounds with her tongue, attempting to get the attention of the birds swarming around her. As she did she pulled out her hand to reveal some bits of bread. It didn't take long for some of the birds to warm up to her. She knelt down on the ground with one knee and began to speak to the ones that came over to her. Whispering her apologies and telling them gentle compliments. Abbi was even rewarded with being able to pet a couple that came close enough and nudged her. She of course didn't notice the other person sitting near her that she had accidentally interrupted until she looked up and saw him. She gasped, her eyes widening and she stood up in a hurry, once again startling some of the birds around her. "Ah... Ah.. I apologize for intruding. I hadn't ment to interrupt your time with the birds... It was an accident."

| | When most of the birds scattered, a couple stayed planted on Eros. More worried about eating out of his hands then the fear of the other birds. Eros couldn't say he was annoyed with what had happened. Birds were skittish, surely they'd return after a little while. The heartless glanced over at the cause of the situation. It was just a girl.
She seemed to be able to bring the birds, back and calm them. That in itself was very interesting. He wasn't hadn't seen anyone be able to do that. At least with birds. Birds were fickle skittish creatures. Much like Eros was. Maybe that was another reason to be drawn to the little creatures. The movie was just the catalyst.
The heartless shook his head and smiled. A small nervous smile. His usual when interacting with strangers. One day he wouldn't be as nervous. Especially around people who obviously weren't threats. But it would take some time.
“It's fine....I don't really mind.”
He said calmly, petting one of the birds on his lap with his index finger. It was a small brown and black bird. No bigger than an apple really. It was oddly fearless. And seemed to enjoy the attention.
“After all, it's a public park.”
The heartless looked from Abigail down to the little bird. His nervous smile, started to turn well, less nervous. With his attention on the little one in his lap, the one on his shoulder decided now was the time to hop on top of Eros's head.
Birds seem to show know fear around a strong heartless. But they freak out for a second because of a skateboard and a girl. Eros thought it was kind of funny.
