CYIL ALLARD
|
Appearance |
Cyil looks exactly like his hover image. The only difference between him and the actual faceclaim is that Cyil doesn't have the star branded on the left side of his forehead. |
Personality |
At first glance, Cyil comes off as an overtly cheerful boy. His range of emotions seems limited as he is often accompanied by a smile and laughter as opposed to anything else. Just as his lighthearted smile would suggest, Cyil is a free spirit who travels from place to place by the whims of his heart. He is a meddlesome character who engages with just about anyone, regardless of their personality and background. As such he quickly becomes an annoying act to be around; especially to those who are rather introverted and anti-social. Cyil’s cheerful demeanor is somewhat of an act, however. He is in fact, a listless man without any real strives and his only goal is to go and experience what the universe has to offer. He typically has no interest in the political agendas of light and darkness; though he may interject simply because he wants to. Despite the fact that his only real goal is his interest in traveling Cyil is extremely gifted when it comes to fighting, having spent most of his life training in combat. Though he doesn’t want to admit it, Cyil finds a great rush of joy when he enters combat – finding it difficult to hold back his strength even for sport. He even finds it hard to resist fighting when he finds a prospective worthy opponent to test his blade against. |
History |
Hailing from the Land of Departure, Cyil was a prospective candidate to inherit a keyblade. He spent years physically and mentally training himself to become a worthy successor; however, lady fate would deem otherwise for there was darkness slowly building up in his heart. Cyil had a gifted mind when it came to combat. He found it easy to overwhelm his fellow prospects and grew overconfident because of this. At the time, Cyil had become brazen, arrogant, and would goad others into challenging him so he could put them down. He had become the school bully and the master did not approve. When the time came for the announcement of the new apprentices, Cyil eagerly awaited for the master to call his name. It was a complete surprise when he never did. Cyil quickly objected, pointing out that he was better than everyone, but the master quickly shushed him. He was told that he would never be able to inherit a keyblade – not the way he was now. He was quickly put down just as fast as he put down others. Dejected by his sudden loss of purpose, Cyil fled from his newfound humiliation by by fleeing to a different world. Weary, beaten, and hungry, Cyil wandered about. He couldn’t understand what the master had meant when he was told that he would never be able to inherit a keyblade. He was angry and hateful; however, everything began to change the longer he stayed in the new world he was in. Cyil gradually became aware to his surroundings as he watched the world’s inhabitants go about to improve their environment. Some would notice Cyil’s inner struggles and would occasionally treat him kindly with a warm meal and a place to stay; though he’d only have the courage to stay a single night. These new experiences allowed Cyil to understand the hardships of life and how he had been far too selfish. But it was too late for him to go home now. Rather than choosing to build a new life, however, Cyil suddenly felt the urge to visit new worlds and witness the difference in cultures; thus he set out with a new goal in mind |
