ELLEXA
|
Appearance |
Ellexa's overall appearance is exactly the same as the picture in her hover. |
Personality |
Before her alteration as Ellexa, Leela was a strong-willed girl who put the needs of her family before her own. She kept a positive outlook on life despite her terrible circumstances as a slave and constantly worked hard to make her little brother’s life easier. As the older sibling, Leela was extremely stubborn when it came to her family. She would refuse to let others help her and would also reject any charity in fear of having any debt. Though she would always be stressed out from her duties, Leela hardly ever complained and kept a strong face whenever she was around her brother. Though she often acted tough around others, especially when she was with Gideon, Leela was extremely anti-social and kept to herself. She bottled away her emotions, festering in the back of her subconscious until it finally exploded out. That was when the darkness swallowed her whole. Now known as Ellexa, Leela’s personality has drastically changed with the loss of her memory. She is now quiet and brooding, yet has a strange childlike curiosity about her that occasionally breaks away her introverted attitude. Unlike her former self, who was fairly selfless when it came to immaterial objects, Ellexa is obsessive and grows easily attached to things that come her way, whether they’re toys or people and becomes violent when someone tries to take it away. Perhaps it’s the newfound freedom she has that allows her to feel this way or perhaps it’s her desire to make new memories to fill the void that she has in her head. Honestly, she doesn’t know or care about what drives her. |
History |
Leela Jagare and her younger brother, Gideon, were born into a world of slavery. Growing up was a difficult trial for Leela. Both her mother and father had died when she was only at the age of six. Her mother passed on giving birth to Gideon while her father was executed as a result of her mother’s death. Both Leela and Gideon were raised by a kind man, who fostered them until Leela was fully capable of taking care of her younger brother herself. At first Leela held a bitter resentment for her younger sibling. If he hadn’t been born, their mother wouldn’t have died, and their father wouldn’t had been executed as a result; however, as time passed on, her hatred towards Gideon eventually changed into a doting, motherly love towards him. As she grew older, she became overly protective towards Gideon; after all, she didn’t want to lose the last member of her family. Leela subjected herself to all kind of humiliating actions to protect her little brother from the harms of their masters going as far as to let them use her for more than just serving them wine and food without ever letting Gideon know. For a while she managed to keep Gideon safe from their cruelty, but the older Gideon had gotten, the more rebellious he would become. He’d often complain to her about their indentured servitude and question why they wouldn’t just try to run away which she would always hush away. Everything was fine for the siblings until Leela learned that their master was going to sell Gideon away to a man who had a penchant for dismembering his slaves. Leela pleaded and pleaded with their master to not sell Gideon, but his mind had been made up. He beat her to keep her quiet and to serve as a reminder that she was still just a slave and that she had no right to question his decision. When night fell later that day, Leela decided that the only way to protect Gideon would be to try and kill their master. She snuck past guards and entered his room with a knife in hand and approached her master. She quietly raised the knife over her head and with a frustrated shout she stabbed down into the sheets. There was a loud cry, but it wasn’t a man’s, it was a woman’s. Leela had slain the wrong person. The master, now awake, kicked away his sheets and threw it over Leela’s head. She tore it away only to be tackled. There was a fierce struggle between the two, but the master easily overpowered her because of his strength. In a fit of rage, he tore away her clothes and screamed how she abused his kindness towards her. He screamed that her attempt at his life had cost bot her and her brother’s life and how he would slowly flay Gideon’s skin while she watched. Leela felt rage build up in her heart and that was when she had become infected by darkness. She began to hear voices that allured her with power, power that could slay all the masters. To protect Gideon, she succumbed to the voice. Corrupted by darkness, Leela overpowered her master with pure strength and ripped away his heart and in a frenzy of hatred, she set the compound ablaze. Leela felt her consciousness drift away soon after into a sea of endless darkness. She soon woke up afterwards on a dark beach with no memory of what had happened and who she was. The only things that she could remember were the names Leena and Gideon, the latter of which she was certain was hers. She walked around aimlessly until she was found by a hooded figure who offered her to take her away from the darkness. With nowhere to go, she followed. |
