It was a rather special day for him today. He had finally found the shop where his old friend held ownership. He's kept this information to himself of course. It would be a surprise visit! Vince would absolutely LOVE it. Why wouldn't he? They were both Wonderland convicts now after all. Not that Vince had to know that right away. In fact, Calcifer didn't know how Vince would react to knowing that. Cal knew for a fact that Vince was out right now. Vince and that... bodyguard... Noah, he believed was the name. He wasn't sure how long the men would be out, but he was a patient one he was. There would be a secretary. Vince loved his secretaries. They changed a ton in Wonderland. There was always something the poor girls would do wrong. Cal normally wouldn't care for the changes, as it gave him more chances to meet some rather pretty girls. It wouldn't be hard for him to bypass the secretary. Just a little bit of charms would do the trick. Oh how he loved this game. "Oh Calcifer, You are a fool if you think you can pull this off." The female voice echoed in his head, her body walking right beside him. A Light blue dress flowing around her as she kept up pace with him. He glanced briefly in her direction before allowing a sly grin to touch his lips. Stepping into the Secretary room he glanced around, a rather innocent looking expression donning his face. Though with a simple smile he found the room completely empty. Well, there went that Secretary. She was probably going to be fired or other after he found out that Calcifer was allowed to slip in to the office unannounced and without company. Heh, oh well. Her fault. "Come on Cal, we should get out of here. Vincent left for a reason. What if he doesn't want to see you?" What if Vincent didn't want to see him... Duh! Vincent wanted to see him! They had been close after all. Why wouldn't Vincent want to see him? He as soon ignored the girl as she did speak to him. Calcifer moved quickly and pick locked the office door once he was down the hallway, keeping watch with his right eye as he did so. He was sure the Secretary wouldn't come down here. But no harm in being 100% sure he wasn't caught. The lock was picked quickly and he slowly opened the door and stepped inside, locking the door behind him. A grin formed on his expression and he moved over toward the couple hearts that sat on his shelves. Beautiful they were. Ah! Vincent was brilliant! Where had he gotten these any way? He lifted a hand and gently touched the smooth glass that separated him from feeling the heart. "Calcifer, This is idiotic. You could have at least gone through the door when he was here, like any other good person."With a sharp look at the girl, Calcifer quickly shut her up. He wasn't sure why she was being so irritating, but he didn't really care to learn. "Shut up." He muttered to her and pulled away from the glowing sight of the human hearts. Then he quickly moved to the desk. Slipping his hand across the surface of the wood. Oh he had missed this. The cleanliness. The beauty of Vincent's office. He was always rather impressed by how nice Vincent always seemed to make everything feel. Even for one as young as sixteen. Stepping around the desk he moved over to the chair that sat behind the desk and pondered over it for several moments before sitting within it. Comfortable. Haha. Vince couldn't miss him. Although Cal really really hoped that he would come alone, without the bodyguard. What use was there in meeting him anyway? He wondered why Vincent needed a bodyguard. Here would be where he would wait for his friend. He was good at waiting. He'd waited 5 years for this after all. ☆ Oh dear... Sorry that its so long. x3 I totally didn't mean for it to be. ✿ ✿ ✿ IT'S ALRIGHT TO SCREAM, I'M SCREAMING TOO. WHY'D YOU THINK I DO THESE THINGS I DO? FOR SHADOWS HAUNTED ME LIKE GHOSTS, SO I BECAME WHAT I FEARED THE MOST.
The day had felt long. Was it even all that late yet? Vincent wasn't sure. He strolled his way into his building. He sent Noah back home early, after all, all he had left for the day was paperwork. No need to keep him here for the next two boring hours. The kid deserved a break.
There was also no doubt in his mind that he was upset about something. Probably the deal with Lilith. It was the only plausible explanation. He stopped in front of one of the hall mirrors. His hair was a bit of a mess, but the rest of his outfit was on point.
The violet striped suit really brought out the color of his hair. He fixed his bangs with his fingers the best he could. He'd have to talk to Noah later about this mission. He didn't want him to opt out. Vincent couldn't afford him to.
The information broker straightened his tie and took one more glance in the mirror. Perfect! He picked up his briefcase and continued on his way to his office. The secretary was sitting at her desk trying to get everything set up again. No doubt she just got there.
“Barbara I need every report that has come in today in my office in the next 20 minutes or I swear on the queens ugly head that I will fire you for being completely and utterly incompetent.” Vincent said in a rather frustrated tone as he made his way to the hall door. He didn't even glance at her while he spoke. She didn't deserve his full attention. No she was tardy constantly, and as much as he enjoyed making that one deal she still didn't even ring him to give him a late warning. He went into the hall but quickly took a few steps back and peeked his head back out the door. Giving Barbara a glare.
“And if you're ever late again I'll make you into a human pocket watch.” He really shouldn't threaten his employees, but by God she deserved it. Now that he was done with that he continued down the hall, digging in his pocket for his office keys. With a few swift needlessly dramatic motions, Vincent unlocked the door and swung it open. With another needlessly dramatic motion he slammed the door behind him and went to go to his desk when he saw Calcifer.
Vincent froze in place for a moment. Not sure if he was imaging him or not. He stared at his old friend with a wide eyed expression. His briefcase just sort of fell out of his hand. Barbara was so freaking fired. This was the second time in a matter of days....
“How...” He said quietly at first, still trying to register who he was seeing. It'd been so long. Naturally, he'd gotten a tiny bit older since the last time Vincent had seen him. But there was no doubt in his mind that this was indeed Cal. He was still just as comfortable hanging out in Vincent's office. Just like old times...But... How did he get in here?! Why wasn't he in wonderland?!
“How did you get in here?! How did you get HERE?!” Vincent's shocked expression soon changed to a look of excitement. But for once in his life, he was starting to run out of things to say. He just wanted to jump over the desk and tackle him. But he was going to try his best not to give into that temptation.
“I....I-I. Oh what am I going to do with you?! Breaking into my office!!” He said as he started to laugh. It was his gut reaction to laugh whenever he felt the familiar sting in his eyes.

“Barbara I need every report that has come in today in my office in the next 20 minutes or I swear on the queens ugly head that I will fire you for being completely and utterly incompetent.”Any normal person would have stiffened at the sound of the voice that would probably mean their demise. But Cal allowed himself to simply relax at the sound. The sound of the one person he could have considered a friend for the better part of two years. And yep, he was sooo right. This girl was probably fired when Vince found him sitting in his office. Oh well, it had been nice not meeting the girl. He would have liked to, but meh. He truly and honestly didn't even care. Not right now any way. Right now he would have the pleasure of meeting up with his old friend. “And if you're ever late again I'll make you into a human pocket watch.” Oooo, sounded like this one had been particularly idiotic huh? Vince sounded genuinely upset about her. Well, good thing Cal hadn't met her yet huh. Calcifer could hear the older man walk down the hall, his footsteps a little bit heavier then normal, even the unlocking of the door was emphasized. Reeck... SLAM! Went the door as the violet haired man stepped into his office and then completely shifted demeanors. There Cal was, sitting in his seat with his fox sly grin and his fingers steepled like that of the roof of a church. The only thing missing from this beautiful picture was the cat. Well, there was a cat, one that was blue and grey with a large hungry grin on it's face, but he was absolutely sure that Vincent wouldn't be able to see it. He'd tried showing him before. Never worked out well. But the cat image would have made this the best surprise visit ever. And there the suitcase went hitting the floor. Ehehe, he was rather shocked now wasn't he. Good! thats how he wanted it. It was the purpose of a surprise visit now wasn't it? "How..." "Barbara is fired I would imagine. Oh well! ♪" He sang rather happily. "New girl! I wonder who it is this time." “How did you get in here?! How did you get HERE?!” And now Vincent was grinning from ear to ear with excitement. Cal glanced at Alice who stood right next to him and flashed her a rather proud grin. A quick one though. The girl rasped and folded her arms in irritation. Why was she acting this way? She needed to stop. She was starting to make him irritated. But none of that showed on his face as he turned his attention back onto Vincent rather refusing to answer both the questions that were asked of him. Instead he shoved the cheshire cat off his lap and stood up out of the chair. His grin changing rather drastically from one of pure deviousness, to an excited genuine smile. He moved around the desk and stood in front of Vincent. Feeling rather awkward to be standing there now. It had been so long. Vincent appeared happy and excited. Was that what he really was though? He paused and hesitated. “I....I-I. Oh what am I going to do with you?! Breaking into my office!!” Oh to hear him laugh. That, that right there was beautiful and all hesitation dissipated right then and there. A rather excited smile donned on Cal's expression and he took a step forward and launched himself at Vincent. Landing with the two of them in a hug. It had been so long. What was he supposed to say now? There really wasn't anything he could say. There wasn't anything he needed to say. He missed Vincent? Everything he could have said in this moment in time was already expressed in the hug. This hug. Definitely not normal for either male. ☆ TACKLE HUG! ♪Vincent KammererMADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

✿ ✿ ✿ IT'S ALRIGHT TO SCREAM, I'M SCREAMING TOO. WHY'D YOU THINK I DO THESE THINGS I DO? FOR SHADOWS HAUNTED ME LIKE GHOSTS, SO I BECAME WHAT I FEARED THE MOST.
Vincent was more than amused Calcifer's little jingle about the secretary. In fact, he was more than amused with him in general. Not much has changed with him. It brought back a sweet sweet nostalgia. Oddly enough it made the office feel even more like home. If that was even possible.
His red eyes continued to sting a little. He braced himself seconds before Cal launched himself at him, and ended up taking a step back so he didn't stumble and fall. The hug was somewhat expected. What else was one to do in a situation like this? It escalated into more of a bear hug on Vin's end.
Vincent wasn't much of a hugger. Not in the least bit. But in times like these he couldn't help it. Much like other aspects of his life, he reacted more than need be. He had Cal in a death like grip. Almost as if he was squeezing the life out of him. The violet haired man spun around, still holding onto his friend.
Oh how he missed him! He had been almost certain that they would never ever ever see each other again. Yet here he was. Here they both were.
He was going to hold onto this moment as long as he could. Well, as long as he could before it got awkward. After all, this wasn't the norm. It was far from it.
The only thing normal about this entire event was Calcifer breaking into his office. Well that and Barbara's inability to do her job, but that was besides the point. He just didn't want to let him go. Not in the least bit.
After like a minute or two of this squeeze fest Vincent slowly let go and wiped his eyes on his sleeve. Making sure none of the tears had made it onto his cheeks. Everything was going to be wonderful from now on.
There was so much they needed to catch up on. Speaking of which, he still needed answers to what he asked earlier. With a content sigh, he placed a hand on Calcifer's shoulder.
“Goodness...This feels like a dream. How the hell did you get here?”

The hug was absolutely glorious. Being so near Vincent again. For the first time in five years he felt alive, at home, alright. Being in the arms of Vincent caused several drips of tears to fall from the corners of his eyes. He hadn't realize how truly hurt he had been when Vince had walked out of his life. But now he was back, and that wasn't going to change. It wasn't going to change. Even silly bodyguards couldn't change that... Spinning around wasn't normal, but was anything these two did normal? Not in the least. Just because it wasn't practical or expected... That was probably what made it oh so beautiful! The unlikeliness of it all. "Any time geniuses! Not all us little ones have the time to be dawdling around hugging random people!"Calcifier nearly threw something at Alice for saying that. Fortunately for her, and probably for Vincent's office, his hug with Vincent prevented him from doing anything that drastic. Which was a slight disappointment, but he'd rather not ruin anything of Vincent's anyway, he enjoyed the cleanliness of Vincent's office. Once his dear friend pulled away from the hug they both immediately moved to dry their eyes. It was a pain. He disliked soiling his clothes very much. But there wasn't much he could do about that. Nothing could ruin this moment for Calcifer. Nothing not even Alice. “Goodness...This feels like a dream. How the hell did you get here?” Oh well... Accept that question of course. He just had to go and ruin the moment didn't he? Now he had to think of something to say to Vincent. Hopefully without actually ruining the moment. But his smile faltered. Dammit. Wonderland. Wonderland Wonderland. Oh how she was swimming under the cover of darkness, drowning in her own hatred. How was he supposed to tell that to Vincent? Wonderland was home! "I flew of course. What else would I do? Besides." He said, his grin widening. Then he backed away from Vincent, and bowed with one arm behind his back and the other at the bend of his waist. "You are here by invited to come by The Tea Sanctuary tea shop, where Life is our game and Secret's it's name." Then he rose up with a rather sly smile and said, "I figured you could use a business partner. I don't sell cheep, but you know how to move the pieces round the board. I did learn from the best." He winked playfully and ignored the striped cat that made faces at him from behind Vincent's head. Cal didn't have the heart to tell him about what happened to Wonderland. ☆ THE TEA SANCTUARY!Vincent KammererMADE BY ★MEULK OF GS

It really was the best reunion he had ever had. Not that he'd ever really, reunited with someone before. Not like this, not after a few years. There was also really no one else out there he could have something like this with. Calcifer was one of the only people he even liked back in Wonderland. He was practically the only person he had ever cared about back then.
Vincent let out a bit of a chuckle and shook his head. He apparently wasn't going to get the exact answers he was looking for but, they'll come out in due time. As they always did. He wasn't going to badger him for more info. The expression that was on his face for a moment was enough for Vince to let it go. At least for the time being. He could work with the answer he was given.
“I don't know, Cal. I thought maybe you swam between worlds. Possibly hitched a ride on a giant fish? Something fantastical.”
He said with an amused tone of voice. His content expression quickly turned to that of surprise. He already had himself a shop? Just how long had Cal been out of Wonderland? Vincent smiled broadly and clasped his hands together.
“Well then, I can't wait to go~. It sounds wonderful.”
Perfect! He was right about him needing a business partner. He was also proud of him. He was doing well for himself. That was such great news. Vincent almost felt like an older sibling watching their younger brother graduate.
“Well I have been looking for one for a while, but no one else around here has even come close to what I need. But you, you're the perfect candidate~! Oh, Of course.”
If it was possible for Vincent's smile to get any bigger it did. It was also more mischievous now. He was in a ridiculously good mood. Everything was going to go so well from now on. They would be unstoppable together. At least, that's what Vincent believed deep down.

“Well I have been looking for one for a while, but no one else around here has even come close to what I need. But you, you're the perfect candidate~! Oh, Of course.” Calcifer snickered and waved the comment off with a flick of his wrist. "But of course there isn't my friend. Because they aren't me!" He bowed very dramatically and then stood back up again and walked over to his friend to lay an arm around his shoulders. "Picture this..." He said in a calm and quiet tone. "With you and I working together, there won't be anyone who could stop us. Not even the Red Queen. Every piece of information would go through our fingers. We'd have something on everyone. Even the royal family. The..." He paused... Alice was now making faces at him. While his expression became blank it was quite obvious where he was looking. Alice was standing near the two jared hearts, and now that she had his attention, she was poking at them with a rather crazy expression on her face. Cal pulled away from Vincent, now tense. In his mind, if she pushed the jars they would break. In his mind he'd never fully understood that the idea of his imaginary friends were just that.... Imaginary. And while people had tried over and over to tell him other wise, he just simply couldn't understand that. He could touch them, just because everyone else couldn't didn't mean they weren't there. "What... What are you doing? Stop it. Don't be--" He stopped in the middle of his sentence and turned his attention back onto Vincent. Wow.. It had been awhile since he'd actually started talking to the wonderland characters around Vincent. He'd even tried to stop for the two years they were together. But... Vincent had been gone a long time... Things had gotten both worse and sometimes out of hand. Damn... He'd been doing so well trying to ignore her. That little witch was going to pay later. Once he left Vincent. "Ah... I'm sorry..." He said rather sheepishly and then glanced at Alice and waved her away. ✿ ✿ ✿ IT'S ALRIGHT TO SCREAM, I'M SCREAMING TOO. WHY'D YOU THINK I DO THESE THINGS I DO? FOR SHADOWS HAUNTED ME LIKE GHOSTS, SO I BECAME WHAT I FEARED THE MOST.
There won't be anyone who could stop us. Not even the Red Queen. Every piece of information would go through our fingers. We'd have something on everyone. Even the royal family....
Vincent's eyes brightened up. He clasped his hands together and let out a rather dreamy sigh. Yes, yes. It was the perfect picture. They'd be the big fish in the pond. It was the ideal goal. They would be like kings. They'd be able to knock even that old bag and her family off the throne. Vincent could be the one on it in the future. But for now he was more than happy running things in the background. Him and Cal would have all the balls in their court. Unstoppable..
“It's...T-tremendous!”
So close but so far. It would take a while, and a lot of work, but it was nowhere near impossible. Calcifer's pause was a bit worrisome. Furrowing his brows, his red eyes moved from his friend to whatever held his attention and back again.
The jars? ….No. That wouldn't catch his attention like that. Not now at least. He'd probably already looked over everything in this office before Vincent got back.
He still had his little friends didn't he.... Of course he did. Vincent had almost spaced about Calcifer's imaginary friends. His expression changed to one of concern. It was rare for Vincent to see him have moments like this. Paying so much attention to said delusions. So rare that he was almost sure his friend had managed to get them under control. They'd never truly leave him, they were a part of him now. Like Vince's other “needs.” He believed it was something that could only be controlled and managed. Not removed. There was a bit of a lump in his throat. What if he got worse in his absence?
Of course, he couldn't see Calcifer's delusions. All he could do was read his body language and try to guess from there. Whatever he was seeing was making him tense. What... What are you doing? Stop it. Don't be....
The concern grew more, but he tried to hide said concern with a broad smile when Cal's attention was back on him. Maybe it was just a small slip up? Though Vincent was going to try and watch him a bit closer from now on. Make sure he wasn't going too far off the deep end.
After all, what would he do without him? He needed his head in the game. If things had indeed gotten worse, then they could work on it. Somehow. But regardless of that, Vincent wasn't going to judge him on it. Just worry from time to time.
“Oh it's fine... Are they being a little too rambunctious today?”
He asked kindly. Though he wasn't expecting much of an answer to that though. Bringing more attention on it could embarrass him. The violet haired man picked up his briefcase and tossed it so it landed with a soft thud on the desk chair. It was making the room look a little too messy for his tastes.... Speaking of mess, where was Barbara and that paperwork? He checked his watch, then glanced at the door with a scoff. That stupid stupid girl.
"Anyways...How have you been as of late?"

“Oh it's fine... Are they being a little too rambunctious today?” With a blank expression Calcifer averted his gaze away from Vincent and peered down at the ground instead. Damn... He'd been doing so well. He hated mistakes. Hated slipping up. Especially when they were in front of Vincent. So much of him wanted to succeed. Wanted to be useful and productive. Every time he gave into the whims of his illusions he became absolutely useless of a being. "Irritating..." He said very softly under his breath. "Not Rambunctious, irritating." He wasn't sure if Vincent could actually hear what he was saying, but it didn't matter either way. He'd said it out loud simply because he felt like it, but that didn't mean it wasn't an embarrassing subject. "Pft, yeah, irritating." Alice said and laughed loudly. He ignored her, forcing himself to keep his eye on the ground below him then actually looking up at the girl. It didn't help that the cheshire cat decided to slip into his view and make faced at him. Cal followed it with his eyes, but didn't look away. "Anyways...How have you been as of late?" At this Cal looked up with an excited expression, seeming to completely forget about what had only happened a few moments ago. His smile widened and he looked up at his former mentor in excitement. "Excellent!" He said, "I arrived in Radiant Gardens nearly two months ago now. It took a bit of time to settle in and set the tea shop up. But once she got going, customers non-stop. Ah! She's the life of the city!" He looked up at the ceiling in dramatic excitement. Then he looked back at Vincent after a pause and said. "Once I was settled in I set out looking for you. It took a little bit more time then I thought it would as I also had a shop to get started and run. But about a week ago, I caught hold of one of your little birdies." Cal gave Vincent a mischievous look. "I was impressed I was. Took me awhile to get the information from him. I couldn't very well kill him now could I? So I gave him a deal." He shrugged. "Seemed to respond well to it.

Instead of just nodding in response. Vincent gave Calcifer a quick pat on the head and smiled. He had barely heard what he had muttered. Irritating. Poor thing, there wasn't much he could do to get rid of irritating imaginary people, now was there? Of course, after that he moved to drop the subject entirely. He didn't want to make his old friend anymore uncomfortable. After all, it must be embarrassing talking about it. It had been that way for Vincent back in the day. It made for some really awkward conversation.
Anyways, there would be a time and a place when Vincent would address his friend's issues. It wasn't now, nor would it be so soon. He didn't seem to bad off, so it wasn't really the right time. There was no chance of Cal snapping, so Vince honestly could care less for the time being.
“Well of course, I would expect nothing else from your tea house~. It makes me want to go even more.”
Two months? Not very long at all. He quirked an eyebrow, his smile fading to more of a grin. So he caught one of the birds? That would explain why Vincent hadn't heard any whispers. About a teahouse, or Calcifer. Vincent had many birds, but it was always somewhat worrisome when one ended up squawking. Even in these circumstances. At the same time he was somewhat impressed with his old friend's efforts.
“ Ahh I see... So what type of deal did you give the poor little thing?”
There was more than a hint of mischievous in his voice. Just what amount of poking and prodding went on? He was always curious about those details. They helped sate a certain part of his personality. The violet haired man idly fixed his bangs as he continued.
“Will he still be of use to me later, or will he just be another broken toy?”
Birds were easily replaced, so he wasn't too worried about it. In fact he wouldn't mind dealing with said possible broken toy...

THE AIR IS TORTURE INSANITY, THE ILLUSION OF IGNORANCE The pat on the head was kind of strange to Calcifer, but he didn't complain. Any kind of recognition was received with pleasure. He could hear Alice laughing at him, downsizing his feelings. "The little puppy need an ear rub?" She'd said, but Cal ignored her. He kind of wished that hatter were here, but he was not at the moment. He was off working. He did have a job after all. Alice did not. Thats why he always got stuck babysitting her. “Ahh I see... So what type of deal did you give the poor little thing?” said Vincent, his smile turning into an intrigued grin. Cal knew he'd be interested. Sadly it wasn't as bad as Vince would have liked, but that was simply because he knew that his friend might want a new toy. “Will he still be of use to me later, or will he just be another broken toy?”Calcifier couldn't help but laugh. "Same as always Vince, my friend. But you see. I found a weakness. I brought forth that little weakness and he spilled everything. Sadly... That little weakness is now dead. I tried to be careful with your bird, as they can be rather fragile, but it seemed... It seems that I went a little too far, and I apologize. he won't be very useful to anyone for a very long time. I kept him for you." He said with a wink. "After all who's worse? An incapable secretary? Or a squawking bird?""Awe, too bad for the little boy though. He would have been a nice apprentice for you Calcifer?" Said Alice dramatically sarcastic. Apprentice? Cal thought to himself. What did he need an apprentice for? Although the boy that he'd cut slowly was a rather adorable one, and brilliant at that. Smart little bastard could tell the ins and outs of Cal himself and that was what made him so mad. That was why the boy really died. Then he realized he'd just told Vincent that he'd killed someone. The last time someone died around him when vince was still in wonderland, he couldn't even remember what had happened. But that was so long ago. He'd hurt people. But his father and mentor were the first people he'd ever actually killed purposefully and with an absolutely clear conscience. But he realized, killing came easier the more it was performed. He'd killed multiple people in the last two months. Most of them impulsively. But there were a few planned out, thought through murders, like that of the little boy. Vincent Kammerer

| "After all who's worse? An incapable secretary? Or a squawking bird?"
Vincent nodded, idly straightening his tie. He was grinning ear to ear at the news. Birds were easily replaced. Not only that but this meant he had one less loose end to tie up. Calcifer was already doing him a favor in his hunt for him. After all Vince didn't have the time nor patience to deal with it if he didn't. It wasn't really worth it to dirty his hands with his own birds. No he would've hired someone to dispose of the stupid little thing. Cal took away the need for a paid third party. Which was always always a nice plus to having friends around. Friends and partners in crime. Yes. That was a good way to sum up their relationship.
He was also excessively impressed with Calcifer at this point. My, oh my, how well he'd grown. Minus the imaginary friends, he was doing grand. Of course, he should've expected as much from the younger man. They were so close, he was bound to have picked up on everything. Especially the stuff Vince really tried to drill in.
“ Ahh I see. Oh well, it was going to happen regardless. A squawking bird will keep you up at night and I would never have that. I need my beauty rest after all... I appreciate that you dealt with him.” He said with a bit of a chuckle. Smile still on his face.
“Now I'll just have to find a new one~. I can't be deaf in that area, now can I. Also speaking of secrets”
It would seem his friend was getting comfortable around killing people. That was something Vincent was going to have to get used to. It didn't bother him at all. In fact he should've really expected as much. He was bound to be twisted just like he was. It was just how everyone seemed to end up. Everyone from their homeworld... Though why was it still in the back of Vince's mind. As if something was off. Was he just overthinking?
“Speaking of incapable secretaries. I'm now in the business for a new one...However, I can't be asked to deal with Barbara right now... Maybe I'll just have Noah scare her off..”
He stopped for a moment, his eyes widened slightly as he got an idea. Calcifer liked the ladies right? Vincent waved his hand dismissively

THE AIR IS TORTURE INSANITY, THE ILLUSION OF IGNORANCE "...I appreciate that you dealt with him." Calcifer grinned and gave a little bow at that. Of course he would deal with whatever loose end that Vincent needed. He knew just how busy Vince was. And while he did work hard to run his little tea shop, he certainly had a lot more time then Vincent did. Not to mention that Vincent was a very dear friend to him and if he needed help then Cal would certainly be there by his side. “Now I'll just have to find a new one~. I can't be deaf in that area, now can I. Also speaking of secrets...”And then he trailed off and didn't say anymore on the subject. Cal didn't ask about it, if Vincent had wanted to ask or tell him, he definitely would have. But Cal suddenly felt very subconscious about the whole ordeal. "He's catching onto you oh mighty Calcifer." Cal glanced in Alice's direction for a brief second. He would tell Vincent everything. About the murder of his father and teacher, about the darkness covering their world.... Just not right now. He would tell him at a later date. This was much too soon after their reunion. “Speaking of incapable secretaries. I'm now in the business for a new one...However, I can't be asked to deal with Barbara right now... Maybe I'll just have Noah scare her off..” "Who's Noah?" He asked in a teasing tone of voice. "My replacement? If he is then he sure to be more resourceful then I." He winked in teasing Mockery. Of course he knew who Noah was. He even had a file on that "bodyguard" of Vincent's. But if his mentor knew him well enough then he'd know that he was joking around. Then Vincent mentioned handing over the ignorant secretary over to Cal and the grin that formed on his lips was no more sweeter then that of a hyena's. "Why... I would love her." he said, a dangerous tone in his voice. "If you are willing to give her to me that is..."Vincent Kammerer

| “Oh no no no. No one could replace you, Cal. You're the one and only~!”
Vincent laughed, he truly was sincere, there was no one equal to his old friend. He cared about Noah as well, but Calcifer was almost like a brother. A protege at time even. He was the only person Vincent could talk to about his certain hobbies. About the darker parts of his business. Noah didn't have the temperament for long conversations. Mostly because he didn't really speak.
He was sure if Noah ever found out about the other stuff. He would be upset. Scared even. No doubt that could kill everything they had. But with Calcifer he would never have to worry about that.
“He's my bodyguard....Well, and he does some assistant type jobs, I do admit. He probably doesn't like the extra work I give him but eh. He doesn't complain.”
Vincent smiled and tapped his chin thoughtfully, before holding his index finger up. Looks like someone has an idea.
“I should set something up for you two to meet sometime. I think you'll enjoy his strangeness.” Or be completely repelled by it. Vincent would have to monitor the centipede illusions the entire time. But that was a worry for another time. The violet haired man shook the thought from his head.
“That's what I was hoping to here~. I'm more than willing. In fact, you can take Barbara as soon as you go home later~. She doesn't get off till I do. At least she better not.” There was something malicious in the way he spoke about her. There was no chill to him. She had proven to be incompetent, and Vince disliked anything that turned out to be a waste. And that's exactly what was happening with Barbara.
Anyways, there were worse things he could do to her. Calcifer was the best option. He racked his brain for more questions to get out of the way here and now. He could feel himself tiring from the work he did earlier, maybe he needed coffee to bring his mind back into the right place.
“So how is your family? Do you still keep in touch?”

THE AIR IS TORTURE INSANITY, THE ILLUSION OF IGNORANCE “Oh no no no. No one could replace you, Cal. You're the one and only~!”Vincent's laugh was music to his ears. Thank wottleberries that his old friend and mentor hadn't just dropped him after he'd left Wonderland. He wondered how much Vince had actually thought about him while he had been gone. Probably not much. He must have been just to busy to do so. But whatever didn't matter. Calcifier grinned and waved his hand in the air in a gesture of carelessness. It was supposed to be a joke after all. “He's my bodyguard....Well, and he does some assistant type jobs, I do admit. He probably doesn't like the extra work I give him but eh. He doesn't complain.” Yeah, Cal already knew most of that stuff, but he nodded in response anyway with a grin on his face. Of course he would be Vincent's bodyguard. He wondered why he'd asked for one now, but it wasn't really relevant. He was filthy rich, of course it would make sense for him to have a body guard. “I should set something up for you two to meet sometime. I think you'll enjoy his strangeness.”"That would be absolutely lovely." Cal said in his calm smiling tone, but he was not too eager to meet the boy from Halloween Town. Not because he wouldn't like the bodyguard. Mostly because he was nervous about him. He was still a little bit jealous that Noah had spent so much time with Xander that Calcifer himself wasn't able to do. “That's what I was hoping to here~. I'm more than willing. In fact, you can take Barbara as soon as you go home later~. She doesn't get off till I do. At least she better not.”Calcifer chuckled softly at Vincent's words. "Sounds like she's pretty incompetent. Maybe I'll ruff her up a little bit. She won't get away without some sort of a punishment." At this he flipped his bands very slightly. Not enough to reveal his "all seeing eye" though. He really didn't need it's annoying power distracting him at the moment. “So how is your family? Do you still keep in touch?”At his words, Calcifer paused. Wait... why couldn't we just keep talking about the secretary? He thought to himself. Then Alice started laughing uncontrollably. Calcifier couldn't stop his frown this time as he glared at Alice. And while he was so tempted to say something he couldn't. His voice wouldn't work. "Um... You know my family..." He said in a rather bored tone of voice. "They don't really understand. But who cares? I don't. They can deal with their own stupidity." Cal took on a rather professional expression and tone of voice as he spoke about his family. This was nothing new. He hated his parents. Especially his father. He hoped, that this would cover the tracks of Wonderland. Vincent Kammerer
