It was turning out to be a rather uneventful day. There wasn't too much going on it seemed. His “birds” had been pretty silent all day. It was a tiny bit strange, but nothing too uncommon. Maybe they were just late on bringing him information. It wouldn't be the first time and definitely not the last. After all, they were people. People could be late. People could get sick. His secretary seemed to catch everything and it's brother.... Maybe he should find a new one before he caught something from her.
Vincent leaned back in his fancy office chair and started fiddling with his brightly colored tie. His red eyes glued to the large glass tank in the corner to the left of his desk. Or more or less the two bright things floating in it. Hearts. They didn't do much, they just drifted around while glowing. Watching it made the man ridiculously happy. He was proud that he was able to get his hands on them. They were just so pretty. Maybe he was a wee bit obsessed with them.
He let out a loud sigh and looked down at his tie. Maybe he should call it a day and go do something interesting. Check in on his shops. Or spend some time working on his hobby in the second basement...It'd been a day or two. Hopefully nothing bad had happened in his absence.

Welcome to your life, theres no turning back Making her way down the well decorated halls almost made her a bit uncomfortable. She found herself desiring to cause some kind of chaos, especially when she reached into the secretary's room. She didn't stay in the room for long. Didn't care to announce her visit. As she walked in and just made her way toward the door on the other side of the room, she briefly noticed the shocked reaction of the lady sitting at the desk. Which of course, brought a slight thrill to her chest.
But no matter, time to move on to bigger and much better fish. She figured the secretary would somehow alert him to her arrival, but didn't really care if she did or not. He would find out in a couple moments anyway.
Whispers... Only whispers... This was how she had come across the information about him. The whispers. Curious and intrigued she began to seek him out. Who was this mysterious person that she heard about with such soft words on the lips. She would meet him. He had caught the Heartless Queen's attention. Of course she would not go without caution. She hid her heart. Or the darkness within it with her magic. This would cause him to see her like him if he could see her in that way. If he turned out not to be a disappointment, she would consider playing his game and give him a test to see what he was made of.
She wore her casual clothes today, her hood and some skinny jeans and her hair in it's usual twirl and her snake tattoos showing quite openly. She did not know him, but she would. He could be sure of that.
Without hesitation she confidently opened the door and stepped on into the room. Her eyes landed onto the man in question and she just couldn't stop the slight grin from drifting onto her expression. He was not as she expected, but she did like what she saw, even if she hadn't spoken to him yet.
"Hello Vincent Kammerer, Its lovely to finally meet you. My name is Lilith and I have a very interesting proposition for you." - - we will find You acting on your best behavior.

✿ ✿ ✿ IT'S ALRIGHT TO SCREAM, I'M SCREAMING TOO. WHY'D YOU THINK I DO THESE THINGS I DO? FOR SHADOWS HAUNTED ME LIKE GHOSTS, SO I BECAME WHAT I FEARED THE MOST.
Vincent was still sitting rather casually in his chair, staring at his hearts when he heard the door open. He wasn't expecting anyone today, when he glanced over he had a look of shock, his lips parted as if he was about to say something. He furrowed his eyebrows. Who the hell? He glanced over at his phone, thinking maybe he missed a call or an alert or something.. Nothing... This woman meant business from the looks of it. Lilith. ...Could it be?
Vincent felt a little bit insecure all of a sudden, without Noah being there he didn't really have too much in the way of protection. Where was he? It was taking forever with that errand. He better get back soon. He needed to feel secure. He needed to have someone there for backup just in case.
Quickly the man sat up straight, and spun his chair around to face her. He straightened his tie and pulled his chair up closer to his desk. His shocked expression turned to a content smile. No need to look too frazzled. He was a businessman, and Lilith was here for business. So it was important to keep up that appearance.
“Apologies, I wasn't expecting to have any sort of meeting today.”
He said with a laugh, and motioned for her to sit down at the chair in front of his desk. He still had a smile plastered on his face. However he was on his best behavior, and the politeness was genuine. Vincent wondered what sort of proposition she had. Hopefully something good. Though if it was bad would he even still be sitting here? Alive at least? He hadn't heard much about Lilith. However the whispers he gathered were enough to make him very interested at her. And cautious. Since she knew his last name, and showed up like this, no doubt she'd heard something herself.
“Please, have a seat and we can have a little chat.”
There's still a bit of tension in the air. Even though he was trying hard to hide his fear.

Welcome to your life, theres no turning back Lilith's grin widened into one... slightly more unsettling as he motioned her to have a seat across from him, but it was only for a second and then she peered at him calmly, making her way to sit in the chair across from him.
Without another word she sat down before him and flicked a piece of paper onto the desk in front of him. This would be a drawing of a book. This book, however, was very special. She'd met every wizard who'd guarded it in her days of living. But she had yet to find it, even with all that. There was a reason. One that the Wizards themselves probably didn't even know about.
"Oh please Vincent, Relax, I'm not here to harm you or upset you." She said, noticing the tension that flickered between them. "I'm here to make a deal with you. There is something I'm looking for. I need you to find it for me."
She would explain more. But she wanted to know if he was at all interested. Perhaps he wouldn't be. Perhaps he wouldn't want her offer. Which she wondered if he would be able to pass up. If she were him, she wouldn't. - - we will find You acting on your best behavior.

will mean something to someone | Noah walks into the building that is Vin's office. Heading down the hallway with two cup of coffee. He hated to be an errand boy, but it beat just sitting in that office waiting for someone to come in. But as he started to reach the door he felt something odd. A dark force was standing in that office with Vin....
Quickly he opens up the door and looks in, and he sees a women sitting across from Vinny. It doesnt look like she is about to attack him but he can still feel the tension in the room and then the relief that Vin feels when he see Noah. But looking over to this new person he feels the need to try and see the light in there heart. But he feels his senses bombarded by darkness. He has never been able to sense darkness before, only light. What is this person?!
Slowly and without a work noah walks over behind Vin handing him his coffee, and placing his own on the desk as well. He stand protectively behind Vin. A pure of heart standing in a room with someone that has such darkness in there? Lets hop that just means his powers will be extra effective on her.

✿ ✿ ✿ IT'S ALRIGHT TO SCREAM, I'M SCREAMING TOO. WHY'D YOU THINK I DO THESE THINGS I DO? FOR SHADOWS HAUNTED ME LIKE GHOSTS, SO I BECAME WHAT I FEARED THE MOST.
A book...? Vincent looked down at the drawing, studying it closely. Well he didn't already have it, that he was sure of. In fact, the man couldn't recall ever seeing it before. He brushed his bangs back and turned his attention back to Lilith and smiled. So he wasn't hiding his worry all that well. He was going to have to work on that later.
“Oh, Of course. My Apologies...”
He said with a small embarrassed chuckle. It was worse than embarrassing, being anything but calm. It was unlike him to be tense in situations like this. Vincent rolled his shoulders to try and relax more.
The whispers he had heard had left him overly cautious... Not to mention, he didn't generally talk with heartless without “support”. That was a bit too dangerous. Even for him.
A deal, huh? From the looks of it, all he had to do was find a book. It wasn't necessarily a small task. This thing could really be anywhere.
He did have enough resources to hunt it down. More than enough. However vincent wasn't normally the one to find things for other people. It was either he had it or the other person was out of luck.
In fact, he was more used to asking others to hunt down things for him. Though Lilith was a special case. He was more than willing to make a deal with her. After all, the reward for doing so would be one he couldn't pass up.
“So I take it you need me to find this book?...What is it exactly? If you don't mind me asking.”
Vincent pointed down at the drawing. He was definitely interested in her offer. But he needed all the details before agreeing to it. After all, he had to make sure it was worth the time and resources. He also needed to know what he was getting in return.
His red eyes flicked over to Noah when he entered. Just in time. He let out a sigh of relief. It was probably obvious what Noah was doing there by the way he acted. However, an introduction was still needed. He didn't want to be impolite. Especially not in the middle of something like this.
He gave Noah a quick smile as a bit of a thanks as he took his coffee. Perfect.
“Lilith, this is Noah....He's a personal assistant of sorts.” Vincent gestured in his bodyguard's direction. It just sounded better to refer to him like that. After all, he did have him running errands too.

Welcome to your life, theres no turning back “So I take it you need me to find this book?...What is it exactly? If you don't mind me asking.” A sly grin snuck onto her lips as he spoke. This would be the deal to start with. He wasn't comfortable with her now, but he would be. He would have to be. She would be back for him if all went well this time, and she was going to pay him handsomely for this deal.
"Of course." She said, but was interrupted as a new figure stepped into the room. She turned a sharp gaze onto him, irritated for a brief moment before Vincent introduced them. Then she couldn't stop the smile.
"M'lady, who is that?" Said Envy. "Why... He appears so much scarier then you do! You need to step it up a notch."
Unfortunately Envy, I cannot for now. I wouldn't want to frighten our dear host away now would I?
While his outside was so dark and a bit scary, she could sense the light that he emitted. A Pure one huh? So he would be impossible for her to Corrupt him? Pity. She rather enjoyed his appearance a little bit too much.
"Lilith," She stated simply to the bodyguard. Thats essentially what he was, by the way he was standing very protectively beside his employer. "Nice to meet you." But she didn't expect anything back.
Whether there was words back or not she moved on, turning her bright yellow eyes back on Vincent. "Now, back to the book. Its called the Book of Woods. Its been missing for a very long time. A silly young witch holds it captive. This book is another world in of itself. You can even go into its pages. But there is another use to this Book. It is the absolute life force of the witch Abigail Parkinson. Poor girl knows very little magic and the magic she does know is limited and unpredictable. That would be my greatest warning. She also has a shapeshifting cat with her with a pure heart. The only problem. She is the only one who knows where this book is and she hardly ever goes to visit it. And... I am unable to track her or the book. Being a heartless, I am unable to touch the girl or the book."
She paused for dramatic effect and pulled out another drawing, this one of a girl in long hair and a rather cheerful boy. "The payment? A witch's heart, which, if you'd so desire, upon delivery I can retrieve for you, A world within a book, and for prepayment..."
She placed upon the desk a jar. Within this jar floated a heart. This heart, while tinted a light pink, was greatly shaded in a deep violet and even held veins of black reaching up from bottom tip of it toward the top of the heart. It was slightly bigger than normal.
"This... this is the heart of a Keyblader. The son of a merchant, he became a rather dark character after mastering the key. I'll admit it wasn't easy to get him. It took a flood of heartless to grab this heart. Its one of my prized possessions. But... I'm not much into possessions."
Then she glanced at the scary one and smiled her infamous grin. "I suppose I should tell you why I don't want the book to myself. Again, I can not touch it because of a protection curse that keeps Heartless away from her and the book. I cannot touch them. Sadly. Though I do know where the girl lives and that she is in a very week state of mind and body right now. I just broken a life link that she held with another somebody. That brought her a lot of pain, I can bet."

✿ ✿ ✿ IT'S ALRIGHT TO SCREAM, I'M SCREAMING TOO. WHY'D YOU THINK I DO THESE THINGS I DO? FOR SHADOWS HAUNTED ME LIKE GHOSTS, SO I BECAME WHAT I FEARED THE MOST.
Vincent clasped his hands together and brought them to his lips. Listening to everything Lilith was saying carefully. Making sure not to miss a single detail. He was right about something. This was definitely going to be a deal he wouldn't even dream of missing out on.
All of his caution had went out the window once they started really talking about things. Or at least, when she started to explain everything. Noah was probably perturbed by it all. This was the strangest meeting he'd had him sit in on so far. Not to mention Lilith's presence was probably worrisome to the boy.
A shape-shifting cat and a little witch shouldn't be too hard to handle.. If the book wasn't with her he was going to have to get the whereabouts of it out of Abigail. Getting information was easy enough. After all she was young. Young ones generally break faster..
He just had to make sure he could find a way to keep her magic to a minimum. That is once he had his hands on her. The cogs started turning in his brain, as he started to think up plan A as well as flesh it out in his mind.
“ I see... I can't believe I'd never heard of such a book before..It sounds rather glorious. It'll be rather simple to get a hold of it. The only hard part will be getting her where I need her... But, the rest should be a piece of cake~!”
He said with a rather large smile. There was a mischievous look in his eyes when he spoke. Getting information was easy, especially when you had the skills that he had. He'd managed to get a grown man into a sniveling mess in less than an hour. Screaming for his mother within the next. Vincent guessed he wouldn't need to do nearly as much to her.
Vincent looked over the picture curiously. His smile widened at the mention of a heart. Yes, yes, I do need more. There was no doubt he wanted to book as well. In fact, just hearing about it made him want it even more than air. A world in a book, how wondrous is that? He glanced up from the drawing at the sound of something else being set on the desk.
His red eyes widened, his heart started to race. This, this was something else! Two of them, if he managed this feat.... He'd double his heart collection as well as gain another wonderful asset! Not to mention what this all could do for his rep...Before he got too excited and did something stupid Vincent picked up his forgotten coffee and took a long drink. His hands were a bit shaky. Too much anticipation.
“Ahh I understand... I'll do it. I'll get the book for you. I'll also hold onto the girl after all of this is over with, if you wish. Also,is there anything you want done with the cat?”
A pure of heart shape-shifter would be an interesting thing to have around. He wasn't sure what he could possible do with it though. But that was all beside the point. Vincent's eyes moved from the heart on the desk to Lilith. His expression was so happy it almost looked psychotic.

will mean something to someone | Noah is not the happiest about this, and the sight of the heart unsettled him. He had made terms with Vinny collecting them, but seeing one that looked fresh. It didn't settle well with his heart. But Noah new he wouldn't pass up the opportunity that this Lilith was putting in front of him. It was like a dog with a piece of raw meat being dangled in front of him. But Noah didn't really judge him for this, his desire for these things where as strong as his own for wanting to return home.
But he stays silent an idea starting to brew in his mind. So the shape shifter was a pure of heart. He wouldn't allow Vinny to Jar that heart. Noah hopes that he will understand when he tells him this latter. Because looking at this women Noah can tell that she is up to something, and looking to the past whenever anyone is up to something big it always involves those of pure heart.
He she is right and this book cannot be entered by heartless, she may have just given them the perfect panic room. Of course there are other things then heartless that there is to worry about. But for now he would have to burn that bridge when he gets there. But he wasn't going to let his fellow pure of heart get hurt. No in this moment he had decided he would protect them.
The first part of this would be making sure Lilith thought he was on her side. Hopefully this doesn't fall flat.

Welcome to your life, theres no turning back “I see... I can't believe I'd never heard of such a book before..It sounds rather glorious. It'll be rather simple to get a hold of it. The only hard part will be getting her where I need her... But, the rest should be a piece of cake~!” Oh yes. She got him. He was hooked. She could already see it in his eyes. This was the type of business he went for. Despite her hearing the fact that he normally doesn't go searching, she was absolutely sure that he would. The book of the Woods made sure of that.
She watched him with a rather amused expression, taking in his excitement with pride. She loved this job. Reaction was what she lived for. In fact, she found it rather exhilarating just how differently people responded to her tactics and movements. She was tempted to glance over in Noah's direction, him being a pure heart and all, but she decided against it. He would get a show. This was true power. If she got any kind of power from Vincent himself, then she would not only have power over the blackmarket, but also within the information train that Vincent ran. True power was not always won through battles. It was won through manipulation from the inside out.
When she put the heart on the table she saw his eyes flash with a hunger that she knew was there already. Yes. This was her prized possession, but that didn't mean she needed it. There was no real use for her to have it. After all, no one would truly know who's heart it was except herself. It was just so adorable how much he cared for it. The heart was rather pretty, she had to admit, especially with the webs of black within it. A Darkened heart, and yet... It was so difficult for her to catch. Interesting. Why hadn't he turned into a heartless? She wasn't sure.
Then he moved to pick up his drink and took a long sip from it. She waited patiently as he finished and turned his attention back onto her. Priceless. Absolutely priceless. She could even make out his fingers shaking. This time she allowed herself a glance at Noah. There wasn't much shift in his demeanor at all. But he was a pure heart. She could tell, by the protective way he stood behind Vincent, that he was a friend rather then just some person to live under his thumb. Lilith would have to watch him carefully. A Pure of Heart could never be on her side. Of that she was sure. There was no way for her to touch them. No way for her to corrupt them.
Vincent spoke again and caught her attention from her thoughts. “Ahh I understand... I'll do it. I'll get the book for you. I'll also hold onto the girl after all of this is over with, if you wish. Also, is there anything you want done with the cat?”
Lilith was quiet for a moment as if she were thinking about how to answer, when in fact she already knew how. "Do what you like with him." She said. "Unfortunately, because he is a Pure of Heart, I cannot touch his him, or take his heart. It won't work. But I'm sure you could find a place to put him in your collection somewhere." She said rather sweetly. - - we will find You acting on your best behavior.

✿ ✿ ✿ IT'S ALRIGHT TO SCREAM, I'M SCREAMING TOO. WHY'D YOU THINK I DO THESE THINGS I DO? FOR SHADOWS HAUNTED ME LIKE GHOSTS, SO I BECAME WHAT I FEARED THE MOST.
He already had half a base plan figured out. It was going to have to be revised a bit before they get started, of course. That wouldn't take much time at all. This was all going to be glorious. Vincent glanced back at Noah to gauge his reaction. Of course, it was somewhat hard to do with that mask of his. He had more “moral fiber” than Vinny was even born with. So he would be so much more cautious of doing something like this. He also couldn't really be bought as easily with gorgeous things. Hearts.
Vincent's red eyes lock backed onto the jar on his desk. Or more importantly the heart within it. The dark parts made it so much more beautiful. Much more unique. He smiled broadly. He would've been happy with just this. But Lilith didn't need to know that. Vincent wanted it all. And would work towards getting all of it. He was moving up in the world, well farther up than he already was. And that was an exhilarating feeling. More so than cutting into someone for the first time. It was tremendous.
“ Alright. I'll find a use for the little thing once we get the book...Do you like cats, Noah?” The information broker glanced over at his bodyguard, with an expression on his face that could only be described as a crap eating grin. After Vincent got what he needed from the cat and Abigail he could just give him to him as a pet. That is, if he didn't have to try too hard to get information on the book. Oh the book... He couldn't wait to see the world inside it. To keep it safe at his house. He could make it the centerpiece of his library!
He finished off his coffee and set the cup aside. Drinking caffeine this quickly was sure to lead to the jitters later. Jitters and constant bathroom trips. He instantly regretted it. His red eyes drifted back over to Lilith and he clasped his hands together and leaned forward a bit.
“So, Lilith...Where can I find this girl and her companion?” Vincent said with a rather upbeat tone. Still with that grin on his face. He was a bit overly eager to get the ball rolling. Lilith didn't seem at all annoyed with his excitement, so he really couldn't be bothered to apologize for it.

will mean something to someone | Noah waits silently, still trying to think over what it will take to talk over Vin. Because if it doesnt work things could go bad. But he cast that thought aside waiting for Lilith to respond. Tense just in cast she pulls anything funny.
Then Vin talks about cats. He had once had a cat, it made the most beautiful shieks, he was my little baby. But really he didnt last long. He had gone out with mom and dad on there last trip they never returned from.
But he also didnt plan on treating a shapeshifter and another pure of heart like a pet. That would feel so rude. But he doesnt say anything. There is no real reason too.

Welcome to your life, theres no turning back “Alright. I'll find a use for the little thing once we get the book...Do you like cats, Noah?”
Lilith glanced at Noah as if she was expecting some kind of response. But he didn't. The quiet type huh? Thats nice to know. It also meant that he was probably plotting against her. And Why shouldn't he? He was a Pure of Heart. He wouldn't agree with any of her ideas. She was darkness and he was light. But.. how did he become the good friend of Vincent here? It wasn't any of her business. But it gave her the idea that she might have to have close eyes on the operation as it went on. Course she would have anyway, but now she'd thought it would be better to watch in person. Without their knowledge of course. She wouldn't want anything to go wrong now would she.
“So, Lilith...Where can I find this girl and her companion?”
A smile formed on her expression as Vincent spoke. At least he was pumped up about the whole ordeal. That was what mattered, as long as she could keep Vincent involved in the mission, she would succeed in bringing that witch down.
"You'll find her in Radiant Gardens living in a small apartment in the housing area. All I need is for the book found, Abigail out of commission, and you can do whatever you want with the shapeshifter. I don't need Abigail as a threat if she does end up learning how to use her abilities. The book is connected to her life stream. You have the book? You basically control her. Just get her out of the way." She said. "Also, if this deal goes well Vincent, I'll be making even bigger deals with you. Ones that cost a lot more then a book of worlds."
Her grin widened into a thin length. She was going to control the black market. Whether the black market knew this or not.

Vincent was more than used to Noah's silence. Though there didn't seem to be much a change in his posture or body language. Not even a shuffling of the feet. There was a small possibility that this was upsetting him. After all, he's talking about a person like they're a pet. Not to mention taking advantage of some poor weak girl.
Vince hadn't really talked about things like this around him before. Noah probably had no idea about the human trafficking part of the business. If he did he would be desensitized to this conversation. The man had no want to put Abigail or her cat friend into said part of the business. So this wasn't nearly as disturbing as those meetings could be.
He nodded at Lilith and leaned back in his chair. A sly smile was growing on his lips as she spoke.
“Radiant Garden.. Alright, that should be easy enough. I'll find a use for the girl after it is all said and done...You won't have to worry about the little witch after all of this is said and done. ”
He could use a new maid... Maybe another secretary. There were really endless possibilities for what he could do. But Vincent wanted to make the girl useful. If he could somehow win her trust maybe he could use her power to an advantage as well... Lilith probably wouldn't like that one bit, but there was no reason for her to know if he chose that route. No reason at all.
Vincent was counting on future deals. More chances to keep climbing up. Though, the man should start getting a bit more cautious after this one is over with. She had her own agenda after all, and Vincent didn't want to end up becoming an easy pawn.
“I'm looking forward to it.. This mission will go swimmingly, you'll see~!”
He said in the same content tone as earlier. There was so much excitement in his red eyes. Vincent was starting to play a more dangerous game than he'd ever tried. He couldn't afford to slip up on this first deal, or any future ones.
