VINCENT KAMMERER
|
Appearance |
Vincent is tall with a lean build. He has a pale complexion, violet hair, and red eyes. He carries himself with an air confidence. His clothing choices can be strange at times. His suits consisting of weird color and pattern combinations. But he grew up in wonderland after all, how would you expect someone from there to dress? Though his casual attire is very plain, however. Same with his "work" clothes. However if you see him in that outfit. I suggest you run far far away. |
Personality |
Vincent is a confident and bright young man. He's very ambitious and goal oriented. He spends a large amount of his time working. His job also happens to be his second favourite past time. Vinny is a collector of peculiar things. Interesting, sometimes rare items and the like. He also sells and trades these things for profit. If he can jar it, he probably has it in a basement somewhere. His most prized possessions are hearts. Since they are so hard to come by like Vincent is also an information broker. He has a network of "little birds." Pretty much spies who gather information and send it back to him. He mostly uses this information to get himself ahead. But will sell it to a high bidder. He has absolutely no empathy. He's good at pretending to have it, but sadly he doesn't. He hasn't felt anything of the sort as far back as he could remember. Though he does seem to have a fondness for Noah. That goes beyond a work relationship. He truly does think of him as a friend. Vincent also has what he refers to as a "dark passenger." He has this need to inflict pain and to kill. It's a bloodlust really. When he was younger he just took out these feelings on animals but, that vice stopped working long ago. He enjoys inflicting pain on others, and has a very ritualistic way of doing so. He has to wear a certain outfit, his "work clothes" when hunting for something to mess with. Generally speaking he keeps one person for months at a time before getting bored with them. |
History |
"Let me tell you a tale for a penny. One that you cannot hear anywhere else. Not anywhere else" There once was a man. This man was completely corrupted by his constant greed. He wanted everything and anything. Nothing could stop this man from reaching his goals. After all, he had money. Enough of it to buy anything he could possibly want. Even people . He also had a high social standing. A noble if you will. And that of course, helped him obtain whatever it was that he wanted. Though there was one thing he couldn't quite get his hands on. It filled him with rage. Some people though, they aren't swayed by money. Especially if they have the one thing that's better than money. Happiness. There was this woman that the man desired more than anything. The only issue was she was married and had a family. She would not leave them for anything. So the man came up with a plan. He would dispose of the husband and weasel his way into her heart. Or dress, if you will. He had the father executed by the queen. It was easy enough to frame him, especially with the queen being so hot-headed. The mother was grief stricken, but did not accept help from the man. She took care of her children and nothing more. Though hardship after hardship she finally took him up on his offer for help. After all, she had a family to take care of. She had three children. two girls and a boy. The girls were twins, and were only 7. The boy was barely 2. The girls enjoyed talking to the flowers and having tea parties. The boy, was easily distracted as most toddlers are. And often stayed by his mother. The woman loved her children dearly, and they lived with the man until she was able to get a stable income and afford a place of their own. She started to believe that maybe he had helped her small family out of kindness....She hadn't realized just how wrong she was. It wasn't long until she was able to get a job as the a maid. Once she had enough money saved she attempted to leave with her small family. Start over. But the man wouldn't have that. Maybe if she paid him back he would, but even after paying him countless times it was never enough. What angered him the most was no matter how hard he tried, she never ever accepted his advances. Eventually he snapped and did the unthinkable. Afraid of the repercussions if she told anyone. He had her executed, along with the two witnesses. At 3 years old Vincent watched as his mother and sisters were executed. It wasn't in the usual off with their head sort of way. No, it was much more bloody and brutal. He didn't understand it, but it was terrifying, so so terrifying. This trauma would affect the little orphan for the rest of his life. The rich man ended up raising the boy as his son. Half because of how it would make him look, and half because the child reminded him of the his lost "love." Vincent grew up rather pampered. However, his early life wasn't necessarily easy. Killing animals and other creatures was not okay. Especially in a place like wonderland. The man couldn't grasp why the child was so messed up, but here looks were everything. He hid the crimes and made sure Vinny was punished for them. This ofcourse only made the urges worse. But as Vinny grew older he got better at hiding it all. At the age of 16 he killed a rabbit. This rabbit was important to the queen of hearts. As soon as the mangled body was discovered they started searching for the culprit. That's when Vincent's plan went into action. He had grown to resent this man who he called "father". He was a thorn in his side, and he just had to get rid of him. So he framed him, he framed him well. They executed "father" the next day. The estate and all the money went to Vincent. This made him more than happy. He spent the next two years enjoying the wealth. He started to build a collection of things from other worlds. He also started to get into the information business. He had made many enemies by the time he was 18. That's when things started to fall apart. Someone had come forward with information on who really killed the rabbit. Vincent was anything but fearless. He didn't want to die, not in the least. So he sold everything except for his collection. He pocketed all the wealth and found a way to flee Wonderland. When he made it to Traverse Town he set up shop again. The first line of business was to set up shop. He bought a hotel in the third district and started to sell parts of his collection. Vinny pretty much ended up running a fancy pawn shop. This pawn shop grew into more of a large thrift store type warehouse, and before he knew it he was also working in human trafficking. At 23 Vincent got back into the information business again. It was much "safer" here. Well not really, but he didn't have to worry about being publicly executed. So at 24 one he felt high enough on the food chain. He found someone to be his bodyguard, companion, and right hand man. It wasn't that he couldn't protect himself, it was just... He didn't want to get his suits dirty. Plus friends were always good to have. His friend was a scary one too, and rarely did he have to really get his hands dirty either. His informants or "little birds" aren't able to get much information on the bigger players out there. So Vincent is currently in the business of recruiting more as well as getting another heart. To go with the one in the tank next to his desk. "Lord, lord. That greed, it'll kill ya." |
