The sun was high up and Lucard had left his vampiric company behind in a safe place. He'd return to Asteria shortly for now though he was out looking for something to eat. Unlike her, blood wasn't what he needed. Plus it was a good chance to see what or where they were since neither of em had a clue where that ship would take em when they sneaked aboard. So it would be best to figure it out. He kept his sword with him though he had his red trench coat over it as a attempt to hide it. He didn't know how the people here would take to a man with a sword out plain as day course the smarter thing in that way would be to leave it behind. Though he wanted a means to defend himself without revealing his strength. There was a long time till the next full moon, no need to go blowing it in a new place by punching someone really hard.
What he ended up finding was what looked like a plaza, a large fountain stood there in which people passed by or gathered. Glancing at his reflection in the water, he took note that his long black hair was still hiding his ears and thus he just took a seat on the ground. A sigh left him as he closed his eyes for a moment probably best to take a break for a moment or two so he wouldn't lose track of where he went. He had to get back to Asteria before she either woke up or tried to come out in the day.

A young woman with long black hair and make-up covered scaley face, had taken a gummi ship to this beautiful bright Radiant Garden world. She had planned to buy some new clothes, and just to get out to see this big great world.
It has been about two weeks since she moved into with the keybladers over at Land of Departure, been two weeks since she has recieved basic weaponry training, and just been two greatest weeks of her life. She looked it over and over again as to why she had never left her large castle prison to be an ambassador for the keybladers, much joy it seemed.
Now wondering through the beautiful bright world, she went toward the fountain. She drew closer to see the reflection of her face over the water, subconsciously she touched the edges of her face where her scales were hidden under layers of make-up. A curse, she will forever carry this curse, only those of legends could help... hopefully they could help... A small tear fell from her eyes landing in the water, such sorrowful memories and pain.
Soon as it occured to her the tear fell, she immediantly forced a smile on her face. A cute small rounded smile reflected off the water surface to her, a sad smile that seemed just worst than it should have been. Shaking her head, as if to shake the depression, she held her hand up high in celebration of her freedom. Taking a deep breath she lowered her hand, then noticed a figure on the otherside of the fountain. This figure had long black hair and seemed a bit of an oddity, deciding meeting as many people as possible during her trips was one of her duties as ambassador, she approached this individual. "Hel-hello, ho-how are you? Beautiful day in this world, is-is it not?" Her voice sounded soft and sweet, as professional as a princess should be, she thought to herself. Soon she questioned her words, they were not professional, she had stuttered shyly too much. Her face turned a small shade of red at this slight embarrassment to her own people.

A voice soon caught his attention thus he turned blue eyes to see a young girl. She looked ordinary and really she didn't smell like any supernatural he met, so she was probably human. Didn't seem like she was very old either, teenager maybe a young adult. Either or really. She seemed kind of the shy type since she stuttered, nothing wrong with that.
"Hello." Lucard greeted kindly. "Yes, it's a lovely day. Might you know a good place to get something to eat? I've had a long journey and something good to eat will do a great deal of good. I'm Lucard Silvertail and you are Miss?"
Lucard held out a gloved hand to her to shake it, course at this angle and now standing up his sword handle was quite visable.

The man answered "hello" kindly then asked if she knew of a great place there was to eat, she being here for the first time really did not know a good place to eat. " Hello good sir to you, I am Princess Trinity Mouser; Ambassador of Yindse Castle." she accepted his hand in a handshake, glade he offered it first rather than her. Should she have done so, she probably would have questioned on whether it was correct culture communication.
After the handshake she moved her right hand up to her chin in thought, she quickly answered in small cute voice. " I-I am very sorry sir Silvertail, but I am new around here as well with no idea where the best places are to eat. I am currently here on a small field trip with my friend Lara, who seemed to have wondered off." She stood on her tiptoes and scanned the area hand covering up her eyes, she saw nothing of her friend.
With a sigh she looked over at her new companion, "Do you wanna find a place to eat together? It is my Royal duty to learn of the residents of this area, I had heard rumors this is the place where lost otherworlders end up. Maybe you could tell me more about the stories? Is this your homeworld? Or are you lost?" She waited calmly for a response curious on what his story was.

A Princess?! Well he hadn't expected this little twist. Yet she was Ambassador? Hm...well he didn't know how royalty worked really so perhaps that was just a job for a princess. Hard to say. A kind smile came to his face as she gave a answer to his earlier question.
"It's alright, you no doubt have much on your mind with your duties an such." Lucard answered. "And please just call me Lucard, Sir Silvertail sounds too...formal for my tastes."
That and Silvertail was his pack's name, he was the last of his pack. Kind of odd considering how close he was to Anabelle, the alpha female that lead the whole time he was part of it. If only he could've protected her and more of the others. The only one he saved was that Hecate Clan girl, oh boy. The pack was probably howling in their graves in disapproval.
"If you have the time then sure." Lucard agreed. "No this isn't my home, my companion and I arrived here today. She's resting elsewhere. My home is quite....different. It's not really a grand tale but if you wish to hear of it, I see no harm in it. Perhaps one day you'd end up there."

"Alright Sir Silvertail, I-I mean Lucard. It is nice to meet you, traveler of worlds." She gave a slight curtsy bow not sure how should she treat him, most would treat otherworlders the same, how inexperienced she was with her own royal duties. Considering she gave him the name traveler of worlds, she herself one was as well, this something hadn't quite hit her yet It is what she deserved locking herself far into the Castle's library ignoring most of the castle's residents.
He had a companion? They had just arrived today, she wanted to meet this companion, what did this companion look or act like? Part of her sadly was hoping for some abnormality, maybe this companion knew of a way to cure her curse?
She began walking in a direction, hoping he would follow, maybe the two could find a shop together? "Could you tell me more of your tale? I know so little about the various worlds, all i know is what is in the Royal library... Some odd reason the library has been outdated for several years, almost like there's a historian missing."

Traveler of worlds? Well that was another strange thing. Technically he stowed away with Aestria so he hadn't really traveled in the way she might think. Oh well best to not point everything out to her. He followed along by Trinity's side, his blue gaze wandered till she spoke and thus he gave her full attention.
"Well...my world isn't a great one. There are...many beings of great power of all sorts, magical and supernatural. Then there's just humans and sadly it's hard to get them to coexist, with hunters of those not human. My family was feuding with another in a battle and...well we got ambushed by another army and...it didn't end well. My companion and I are all that's left, I of the Silvertail family and she of her's. We had to work together to get out and she's resting currently." Lucard explained.

The world he described was nothing like her peaceful homeworld, was this sort of barbarian world the knights coming back exhausted talked about? Worlds that decline to be part of the great alliance? "Why can't you world co-exist? Are you not all from the same place and home?"
Asking this she turned it to herself in the question, she couldn't really co-exist so why must this world? Humans were mean, they whispered behind your back, spread lies and rumors... She rather disliked how cruel they were, but yet the keyblders were so at peace and happy. Why wasn't all worlds at peace like those of the true light? The more she dived into it the more she wished all worlds could accept all stories and fates, why must the be so picky?
Lost in thought she had no realization she had walked under a later of someone cleaning windows with simple pail of water. Foolishly the man cleaning the windows hit the pail, the pail spilling water all over her falling with a clunk to the ground.
The window cleaner immediately began to apologize to her, asking her not to report it to the boss. She accepted his apology best she could, but was a little upset her outfit was now ruined and wet. Soon after all apologies she attempted to make herself look nice by whipping away the water, however whipping away the make-up hiding her curse. She hadn't realized at first, but seconds later it suddenly hit her. She immediately dropped to the ground covering up her face, "Ple-please don't look, you can't see!" Seeing no reaction within the five seconds, she immediately took of running into a random direction. Tears began to come out in pathetic swabs as she reached an alleyway away from residents view. Hiding in the alleyway she cried in a small corner,, embarrassed that for five seconds her little secret was shown. She would have to wait till the crowds cleared out... cover it up quickly with make-up... vow never to return...

"People fear what they can't understand, the humans fear the supernatural and magic thus they don't want to make peace with it." Lucard replied.
Humans and supernatural whispered behind each other's back. It was just how it worked, it was nature of personality. You couldn't stop that. When the pail's contents fell Lucard paused and looked to the source. Well this couldn't be good.
"Are you al..." Lucard started to ask as he turned his gaze back to her but was interrupted by her words.
Don't look? Lucard wondered as he raised a eyebrow to her.
She took off before he could say anything and thus he followed after her, keeping her in his sight till she turned into the alley. Going in, he went over to her and bent down.
"Now what are you going on about? It's just water it won't hurt you." Lucard said as he reached out to attempt to put his fingertips under her chin an gently push up so he could see her face.
Unless your a vampire or something and it's holy water. Lucard thought to himself.

She didn't even noticed that he followed her, only released it was so when his voice sounded talking about how water was harmless. He attempted to gently reach out and lift her head, probably to talk to her face to face, but she was not having it. Fighting the best she could she turned her head away from him and mumbled, "Yo-you can't see! No-nobody can know! I-I am a re-re-representa-ta-tive of the kingdom..."
Eventually after few more minutes of fighting she decided to give up, no point in hiding it now. It was obvious she was stuck here, and he did not plan to leave. She lifted her head tall and royally regal. "Are you happy to see it? The curse?" Slowly she raised up attempting to depend on nothing for support, almost like this moment she must look as strong as possible. "Go ahead and laugh it up, talk behind my back. I am a cursed princess, cursed to wear snake scaled down my arms ending at my face." She watched for his reaction of disgust, she knew it was to come soon.

Lucard paused when she moved her head and pulled his hand back. Seeing what she'd do. He merely stayed at her, folding his arms as he waited for her to stop saying nonsense and just say what was wrong. Soon she lifted her head and he saw. Scales? That was the big fuss? A raised eyebrow was what he gave her and he sighed shaking his head at her. Removing his gloves, he sat them down on the ground.
"You want to see cursed?" Lucard asked though he didn't really give her much of a reaction time.
He stood up and held his left hand up, the sound of bones breaking could be heard and the source was from his left hand and arm. Claws appeared and black fur soon appeared through the skin, his hand grew in size and started to look more like a mix of a paw and a hand. His eyes changed from blue to Molten gold as he looked to her.
"This isn't even all of it." Lucard said, giving a toothy grin to reveal his extended canine teeth for a moment, course his arm soon reverted along with his eyes. "What you have is just a physical difference, curse is nowhere near the right term. Besides they're not bad looking."

He asked almost in a taunting way if she wanted to see cursed, before she could make a reply or even react he began transforming his arm. The sound itself was horrifying enough, gradually black fur and claws came out, along with doubling in size. She could only stare wide-eyed unsure what it was she was seeing, it had taken several minutes for her to finally blink and look away. Once her fear subsided her curiosity grew tremendously... She had heard of such magicks, but to see it in person.
Soon she leaned in analyzing it with great curiosity, "ho-how did this happen? Where you bit by a magical shadow snake? Was ther-there some other-way?" she didn't want to be rude and ask questions, but she couldn't help it... All the knowledge from living in the castle library mentioned nothing about otherworlds having furry curses, though the books weren't all that bright... She wanted to reach out and touch him, but she figured it was too rude, she instead asked simply, "May I?" she moved her hand toward him as if that was the question.

A typical reaction, the sound was a horrible one to listen to he could always agree. Course feeling it was far worse. He gave a look of discomfort for a second as he moved his arm, trying to get the pain subside since it was normal once more.
"No snake. I was bitten by a werewolf on a full moon night." Lucard replied as he removed his trench coat, revealing the black shirt underneath it, he pulled the sleeve down on his right shoulder to show her where the scar from the fangs where. "A werewolf's bite can only turn someone during the full moon in their other form. I used to be a human but...my father was one those hunters and well I never wanted that life. I got a new one and had a new family when I joined their pack."
That was a surprise, why would she want to touch him? His arm was normal so the fur was gone.
"I don't see the harm, though not sure what's so fascinating now." Lucard answered as he let go of the sleeve, leaving it just crumpled up. "Course...what I look like on those nights is a whole different thing. So just seeing the arm is nothing really. My canine teeth are always longer and my ears are pointed, hair just hides em better."

Werewolf? What was a werewolf? She touched his arm fascinated, and hating, how easily his arm turned back to human. She was cursed to wear her scales forever, but at least this was passing the time... He also didn't seem to mind, though her maids didn't either... She wondered if it was because of royalty and fear of starting wars? Though maybe it was a curse understanding sort of thing, just why did her turn back to human, and she never could? "What's a werewolf? I never heard such of a thing in the Castle records, is it just from your world? Or? Is it some form of magic that has various names?"
He began explaining that nights were different, that he grew canines and other parts were changed. She wasn't sure how to view this... Was he some sort of monster beast that transformed howling into the night hidden in woods? Why did his curse only appear at night, at least it was easier to hand than hers... A drop of water and the whole castle knew, a reason she stayed far away from royal guests. "Why does it only influence you at night? Why is it not all the time? Is there some sort of requirement on the curse? I do not understand." She again did not want to be rude, what she wanted to do was scream at him at how foolishly lucky he was. Royal protocol, if she screwed it up she was kicked out from her job probably locked up in some dungeon.

"You don't know....?" Lucard started but silenced himself for a moment. "Oh....how I do put it?"
How indeed? As a child he didn't know but asking always gave ya the prejudiced answer back home. Course...how else was it to be put? It was true, werewolves attacked humans. Some for food due to their dark natures and others for self defense.
"Well they're from where my homeworld but I'm not sure if they're just limited to there." Lucard started. "The word werewolf means man wolf, pretty much a human who turns into a powerful wolf and wolves are associated by the full moon. There's no real understanding as to why the full moon governs the change and really, it forces the change. I guess it's not as strong during the day due to the sun being out, somehow preventing the moon's influence?"
Oh this was really hard. So so hard. He never really expected to explain it to anyone else before.
"Problem being on the full moon a werewolf is governed by instinct, logic and the human mind are pushed deep down to where they can't really influenced it. Even a naturally born werewolf struggles with that, however if a werewolf has been one for a long time and with proper guidnance, they can change during the day have more of their mind about them." Lucard continued. "Back home, werewolves are just another monster to humans. It might look easy to hide but it's not."
Grabbing his sword's handle, he unsheathed it and held it in front of him at a angle so the tip was facing away from her. With his other hand, he reached to the blade and touched. Immediately a hiss like sound could be heard as what appeared to be steam left where his hand was touching the blade and it was clear he was in pain. Removing his hand, he showed her the charred flesh as steam emitted from it.
"Silver is a deadly poison to us in any form. If this sword went through my heart, I don't think my natural healing will be able to save me from it." Lucard answered as he sheathed his sword, the burnt palm already showing signs of healing. "There's no real reason why, some say because silver is a holy thing and thus monsters and things not human are weak to it. Werewolves are governed more by emotion as well, so if you've known someone who suddenly acts terribly strange and irritable easily that would be a possibly of them being a new werewolf back home. Senses are enhanced greatly, everything I hear, see, smell, and taste is intensified greatly. Getting used to it hurts and still does depending on the thing. Are you following?"
