Be careful, you are not inwonderland -- Xander wouldn't say he was scared. Or nervous. Or worried. Or really anything except for a tiny bit confused. There could be a multitude of reasons why he would be told to come see Ilmax. Though something in his chest told him that it wasn't going to be over anything pleasant. Okay maybe he was nervous. Standing there outside her door, chewing on the hood cords of his jacket. Maybe he shouldn't have layered his cloak over it. He was starting to feel a little too warm. Maybe it was about the whole “Candy thieves” thing. Did she even know about that? Was that even much of a bad thing anyways? It was just more cover. Not very impressive cover, but still. Or maybe he was getting a promotion. Wouldn't that be grand! Only problem was Xander hadn't done anything outstanding to warrant one. There was one other big thing... Could this be about Apollo? The nobody had thought the silence on that whole situation was more or less a I don't care. Of course, in retrospect he should have told her in person about it before prancing around the castle with the heartless in tow... It would have made everything less dramatic. If this is what this was about, should he act worried? No, no. Might as well stay as numb as usual. She didn't need a show. He stretched his arms out over his head and yawned. Well whatever the reason, he should stop stalling and go in already. The faster this is over with the faster he can go back to bed. Xander knocked on the door a couple times. Now we wait... ■Ilmax■275■surprisingly fitting song lyric thread title oops.

| 0150 words commentary tagged: Xandershort and sweet post to get xander sweating | *fwoosh* Ilmax's door opened in front of Xander at whiplash speeds. The Leader of Org. XIII was sitting at her desk as usual. Her face was stern as she gestured Xander to sit in the chair opposite her. "Xander." She started. "I assume you know why you are here."
Her hands were folded on her desk. If Xander were paying attention he would notice how strangely clean her desk was. While it was usually piled high with reports and papers of various shapes and sizes today it was meticulously clean with only one file sitting on it. Ilmax opened the file, lifting it in a way to keep Xander from seeing it.
"I am severely disappointed with you Xander. Did you really believe I would not find out about what you have been hiding from the rest of us?" She closed the file again and placed it back on the desk. "What have you to say in your defense?"

now we got badblood -- Xander straightened up his posture as the door flung open. Didn't want to seem bored right off the bat. After all, this was serious business. The nobody needed to act accordingly. He came into the room swiftly, and sat down in the chair opposite of Ilmax. Still keeping his posture as rigid as possible. He placed his hands on his lap, and watched his superior carefullyHe didn't really want to admit he didn't know why he was there. That could lead to him admitting to being guilty to doing more than one possibly bad thing. And that just wouldn't be good. So the nobody nodded, slowly, before glancing at the lone folder. Curious. Why was that the only thing out? Shouldn't Ilmax have more than just this going on? Or did Xander do something that was so bad it required her full attention. It was starting to worry him even more. The rest of us... That didn't really narrow it down, he never spoke much to the others about his extracurricular activities. Not about the heartless, the eating, or the memory hunting. Xander narrowed it down to the possibility of either those three things or a botched mission. He didn't think he botched any recently, but he wasn't positive. Xander could've left something unfinished on accident. The nobody stared down at his hands, trying to think of a good response. How do you come up with a defense, without even knowing what you did to need one?The silence was dragging on too long, he had to answer now. He'll just assume it had to do with the heartless for now...“...I didn't think it was going to cause any issues?"His red eyes quickly glanced at her face then back at his hands That was so unconvincing. He cringed internally. This as ridiculous. It was obvious he didn't know what he was talking about. Get it together. Or just ask her.. No he couldn't bring himself to do so. It was too nerve-wracking right now to do so. ■Ilmax■#329■well it got him sweating.

| 0141 words commentary XanderI have literally no idea where any of this came from. Sorry Xem. | “...I didn't think it was going to cause any issues?"
A snort of contempt escaped Ilmax when Xander gave his defense. Clearly the man had no idea what he was truly doing. This situation he had created could bring the organization disaster, or in the very least some rather difficult explanations to specific people. "You do realize the position you have put me in do you not?" She asked. "People will want your head if this gets out."
A headache was beginning to form, Ilmax rubbed her fingers against her temples. This was terrible. The entire mess that was near impossible to avoid. With careful planning an sidestepping as necessary she could do it. She could get Xander and the Org. out of what Xander had brought upon them. "I don't want to give up your head." She assured him. "Yet."

now we got badblood -- “My head?!” Xander looked almost entirely lost with the meeting. What in the heck did he do? Whatever it was it was bad. Very very bad. He didn't want to lose his head. In fact he was quite fond of it. Not knowing what could set off that kind of reaction wasn't helping matters, either. So the nobody tried to think of something, anything he could have done that would end up like this. For a few moments he just stared at Ilmax, trying to bring anything to mind. Anything and everything.
The nobody didn't have a clean track record. But he didn't do much that could get him in this hot of water. Well besides Apollo. When he left the castle, he didn't do more than basic mischief. After a very long pause, he looked down at his lap.
“...So I take it this isn't about Apollo....” No, of course not. Who would want his head besides Ilmax for keeping a heartless in the castle. Xander was just trying to buy himself a little bit more thinking time. Chewing on his lip he kept his head down. Deep in thought. Then it hit him.
“Did I kill someone important?” Xander was more of the fight to the death types. He was merciless in fights. Usually only backing down to either save himself. There were three people he could think of that had met their demise at his hands recently. Three strangers. One was being annoying, one was food for Felix, and the last one was an accident. ...Maybe he chewed on the wrong people? That could help get attention on the organization.
Or maybe the nobody had just... Messed with the wrong people without realizing. Xander could be frustrating to be around sometimes. But he only really messed with heartless. Maybe his confusion on the subject will help his superior spill the beans some more. Or it wouldn't, and he would just have to deal with some sort of rigid schedule for the rest of his life.

| 0149 words commentary XanderXander makes Ilmax sigh more than any other nobody. | "Apollo? You were afraid that you were trouble over your heartless pet?" Ilmax had known about the thing Xander cared for. "I don't care about that thing, as long as it doesn't keep you from your job." She thrummed her fingers on her desk.
Sighing, again, she passed the lone folder on her desk over to Xander. "This is what I called you in for. Inside you will find sheets of complaints from the various, ahem, houses of waiting you frequent. They run from the minor, a few broken lamps and some bruising, to the extreme." Xander had really outdone himself this time. "Did you truly bring Felix with you on one of these... ventures?" The thought made Ilmax shudder with disgust.
The rest of Xander's comments didn't catch Ilmax's attention except for one. "I'm not sure, have you killed anyone important recently, and hidden it from me hmm?" |

now we got badblood -- “Well I did forget to mention him… So I just assumed.” Xander scratched the back of his head. Words couldn’t describe just how relieved he was that his friend was in the clear. Of course, Apollo did distract him from his work at first. But now, he wasn’t as much of a distraction at all. Just company.
“Yes ma’am.”
All color seemed to drain from the nobody’s face. Oh…That… This meeting felt a lot more, awkward. These sorts of affairs weren’t things anyone would want their boss to know about. Or even mention. He cautiously reached out and grabbed the folder. He paused for a moment. Felix. Oh good grief, he didn’t even think of the repercussions of taking him there. He wasn’t thinking. At least… About him.
“I…..I wasn’t thinking when I did. At least, not about him...As for the other things...” He said quietly, squeezing his eyes shut, and pressing his forehead with his free hand. Trying not to imagine the type of damage his cannibalistic friend could have done. “As for the other things… Do I have to pay them off… For the uhm...Damages?” There was a bit of uncertainty in his voice. He opened his eyes a crack, and glanced up at Ilmax. And by that, he figured whatever money he normally received was going to go straight to these establishments. If that was indeed the case, then hopefully his stashes of sweets would hold up this long winter.
His mood seemed to shift with Ilmax’s next question. Xander looked a bit puzzled at first. Obviously making sure he had all his ducks in a row in his mind. His expression soon turned entirely blank, staring at Imax with his red eyes open somewhat wide.
“No, no, I don’t believe so… Unless you care about annoying shoe salesmen.” His voice was hushed, but completely and utterly monotone. As it naturally was.

| 0173 words commentary | He didn't seem to be lying. Ilmax could tell that from his tone of voice and that made her think. Xander's tone of voice sounded almost natural. Nobodies couldn't feel emotion like those with hearts could. They faked them using the memories of their past lives but it wasn't perfect. Xander sounded genuinely distressed by the news Ilmax was giving him, something to look into later. “As for the other things… Do I have to pay them off… For the uhm...Damages?”
Ilmax sighed. "No, you won't. Many of the girls didn't survive the horrible, devastating massacre. Those that did however might remember you at other... establishments." She explained nonchalantly. All that screaming had given her a furious headache. She would sooner take Xander's own head off of his body to prevent doing that again.
"I am placing you under probation Xander. Until further notice you will be followed by a creeper." With those words a lone creeper nobody appeared out of the ground next to Xander's chair. "Have you anything to say?"

Be careful, you are not inwonderland -- horrible, devastating massacre. It took a moment for what Ilmax was saying to really kick in. So she went and slaughtered most of them... Pity. He had grown rather fond of that specific establishment. But, Ah well, no use being upset over spilled milk. Xander nodded in understanding. He was happy not to have to pay anything, but the loss of a place to go sort of cancelled out any emotions from that. So he was left feeling well, nothing. There was a moment where he wasn't sure if he heard her right. A creeper? Really? Really? He couldn't go much of anywhere with one tailing him. Xander stared at Ilmax with a rather incredulous expression before turning to look at the Creeper nobody. He wrinkled his nose at it as if it was the most disgusting smelling thing he'd ever come across. Of course the superior's orders were absolute. There was really no getting out of this. She obviously had to work hard because of his mistake... To him, it felt a bit like overkill to kill the prostitutes. not to mention a complete waste of time. But of course, Xander knew better than to mention it. In fact, there were bigger issues. Twitchy annoying issues. "I don't have to shower with it do I ?" His tone of voice was practically dripping with dread. Xander wasn't modest. At all. But that was one invasion of privacy he really didn't want. It also just sounded like a horrible idea. Xander also wasn't looking forward to having to rework his information hunting strategy to fit this lumbering creature. He let out a bit of a huff, still staring at the creeper. Why couldn't she just station another member to watch him? That be less. Irritating. ■Ilmax■290■It's going to be a long week.
