Appearance

Ayame Miyamoto is a woman of the higher/rich class. So with her family background, usually she has to appear the elegant and classy type. Her hair is mid-back length, and it's deep pink. Usually she lets it hang loose or ties it in a low ponytail. Her eyes are almond shaped and are blue-green. She also got thin and refined eyebrows. Her nose is medium sized. Her facial features has soft cheekbones and small ears. Her body is lean, toned, yet very curvy. This is due to physical exercise and training.

For clothes, she varies on occasion and situation. Sometimes she like traditional clothes. Sometimes she like casual. Sometimes she need formal. Usually she doesn't wear skirts or dresses unless required. Her main favorites are jeans or durable pants and a tank top or shirt. She usually wear coats or vests depending on the weather. For footwear, she prefer boots but she also like sneakers. She also wears gloves usually. For accessories, she usually wear earrings. Sometimes she wear scarves and other small jewelry though.

Due to her spirit heritage, she got some inhuman features. Like her sharp fingernails, her pointed canines, and slightly pointed ears. These are small normally though. When angered or using her racial abilities, her eyes tend to become dragon-like and gold. Her fangs become larger and sharper. Same with her fingernails. If she really using her spirit powers, she develops dragon scales over her body. Mainly face, arm, and legs.

SPIRIT HERITAGE:
In the world of Yamato, one of the most prominent and powerful species are Spirits. These spirits are similar to Akayashi/Yokai. Spirits are usually represented as force in nature or emotions. Spirits range from animalistic, to elemental, or even specific conditions. Over the time in Yamato, humans and spirits mingled together and even create families.

Spirits powers ranges from species of the Spirit. Common traits include stronger/more durable bodies, faster healing, higher senses, and higher magical abilities. Ayame descends from her has spirit blood. Her mother comes from the noble Dragon Clan of spirits. The Dragon Clan Spirits have many similar abilities to the dragons of legends.

All Spirits got weaknesses. One universal and common weakness is using their abilities against them. Like their senses. If they are not careful, it could hinder them. Like foul odors, bright lights, and loud noise. All spirits are universal get ill by bronze ore. It weakens and makes them dizzy. The more purer and more concentrated, the more it hurts.

Ayame suffers from these weaknesses above. Her weakness against bronze is diluted due to her human heritage. It still stings and gives her rashes if it touches her skin. She also gets slightly ill from Dragon’s Bane. A type of plant that makes dragons and dragon like creatures feel ill. Mainly for her is consumption or her skin touching in it for long periods of time. The burnt smell of Dragon's Bane make her feel sick as well.

Personality

Ayame Miyamoto is a gal of many layers and masks. She keeps herself at a fair tempered mood and leveled headed in even the most troublesome situations and rarely does she show panic or frustration. Yes, in the inside she might panic. However, to keep the spirits of the others high and to be the voice of reason she pushes these feelings away and locks them into an itty bitty box. This also makes her quiet patient.

She appears a faker type to those who don’t know her. This means she mask her worries and troubles with a smiling mask. She bundles her emotions and worries down and wears a smiling and cheerful grin. Her smiling mask and act could be seen through when you get to know her or know how to read her. She could be a bit blunt though with her comments. She also got sharp a sharp tongue and a rather sarcastic mouth. She is also very relaxed most of the time. Comments usually don’t bother her. Unless they are directed at friends, family, or loved ones…THAT is a different story.

Ayame could be considered like a butterfly. She tries to bring peace, joy, and laughter. This is through her cheerful and energetic nature. She is playful and a bit of a joker. She thrives on being compassionate and caring. She also got this air of elegance and nobility, coming from her background. She can be dense when it comes to romance and would try to deny it.

Despite her silly outer mask, she is highly intelligent. She has a keen observation skills making her highly insightful and understanding. Still, her mind wanders and she sometimes drift away from the conversation and topic. She is also a bit...dramatic. This means she sometimes blows things out of proportions or exaggerates things. Did I forget to mention she is forgetful? She easily gets lost…easily misplaces things…and easily forget details. This is may be why she is disorganized.

Being loyal and determined are two of her strongest traits. Once you earn her trust, which isn't easy since despite her easy going personality she is guarded and mistrustful, she will do what she can for you. The greater the bond, the more lengths of her loyalty and determination will go. Sometimes, she goes to the point of being over protective, worrisome, and a mother hen. There is a problem and flip side to this though. Betrayal and being manipulated is hard for her. If you betray her or use her or back stab/hurt someone she cares for, she HOLDS A GRUDGE. In some major situations, she is quiet ruthless and cunning. She drops the kind and fair act, and unleashes her darker emotions. She is willing to use trickery and dirty tricks to gain the upper hand. She is also strong willed. She can't be manipulated or controlled easily. She could be a bit stubborn too...

Despite her forgetful actions, she is confident and graceful. She is also quiet humble and relaxed. Despite her skills, her position, and her background...She doesn't let it go to her head. Overall, Ayame is a complex and odd being. Gentle one moment, and a tornado of judgment the next. She could be like the sky itself in a way.

History

The world of Yamato is similar to Earth in some ways. However, it focuses on magic, sorcery, nature, and the supernatural instead. Sure, they have the technology of Earth and similar to other worlds, but that wasn't the focus. The inhabitants of this group is divided into three main groups: Humans, Spirits, and Akuma. Humans you already know about. But the Yamato humans seem to prefer magic or technology. Spirits are the positive and generally good supernatural beings of the world. Akuma were the menace to Yamato. They seem to thrive in chaos and love causing disorder and hatred.

During an age of chaos, Akuma was making the world of Yamato a hostile place under their rule. Eventually 13 clans stepped in and drive them to the darkest and farthest quarters of Yamato. These clans would be the founding clan of the Yamato Central Government. Of these clans, there was 8 spirit clans and 5 human clans. Two of these clans Ayame is a direct descendant of. The mighty Ryuuzaki clan of the spirit dragons and the hard working and noble Miyamoto clan, a human clan.

From her mother, she is ¼ spirit of the dragon species. Her mother is half dragon spirit and half human. Her name is Haruka Ryuuzaki. Her father is the current leader of the Miyamoto clan. He is Hiroshi Miyamoto. Her parents were childhood friends and eventually got together with their both of their families blessing.

Ayame is the older of three children and the only girl. As a young child, she was known to be bright and observant child. She didn't cry much and was easily able to communicate. Yet most things that kids should enjoy, bore her. It turned out she was intellectually gifted and a genius in a way. So simple fun things kids do bore her. Her parents tried coming up with things to keep her amused, yet didn't treated her like she was on a pedestal. This made her relieved.

Yes, she enjoy her high intelligence. Yet she didn't want to be solitary or alone. She wanted companionship, but she was worried: would others her age look at her weird? Eventually she began to have friends. Luckily, they were good enough friends to accept her…gifts. She even used her so called gifts to help out her friends in ways her friends can’t do. She even attended classes with them. But her friends and family made her not waste her gift and talent, so they made her take advance classes. She found these classes enjoyable after a while.

She was around 9 when she found what was unusual about her father. She found him sparring against her uncle Hajime with a strange key shaped weapon, her uncle also had the same type of weapon. Her father and uncle noticed her and stopped. After she stated she was curious about it and she was drawn to it, her uncle and father began discussing in whisper faint voices. Words like ‘might be best’, ‘she got what it takes’, ‘best to do it’ she heard and didn't make sense to.

Finally, they agreed to talk about it. They said the weapon is a Keyblade. It had multiple uses and has a difficult history. They say they were Keyblade Masters, but more along the lines of semi-retired. But the most common goal of what is used for is to protect the Realms of Light. When Ayame asked about that, her father and uncle gave each other a nervous look. But they explained it in a summary, but not full version. In the end, her uncle performed the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony on her and completed it.

With that done, one more thing is being added to her list of things to do. Besides hanging around her friends, going to the academy, studying her advance classes, and her new Keyblader lessons and training, she was also taught to use magic and her spirit powers by her mother. Things were going smoothly, until her uncle had to leave when she was 12.

He said he was going to come back after week or two. But weeks spreads to a month, and that single month into multiple months. Finally, during one training sessions with her father. It happened. She was training when bam! She already went through the Dive Into the Heart and gained the ability to wield the Keyblade 3 months ago, but one day her Keyblade changed to a more unique Keyblade. The Hidden Dragon Keyblade. At the same time, one of the weird ornaments broke in the training room.

Her father stated in a grim voice this could mean a few things. He said that ornament was tied to her uncle and his life force/magic. It breaking could mean things. One and worse case is he is dead. Second is he lost his path, which is highly unlikely. Or third: he is in trouble or trapped somehow that prevented him from using his Keyblade or magic. When Ayame asked what could have done this. Her father in a depressed tone the forces of darkness he told her earlier probably done it.

He dad turned to her and said she needed to be on guard. Stay alert and be ready for anything and any sort of trouble. Seeing how serious he is, Ayame nodded. From then on, she kept alert. And life continue on. She graduated from apprenticeship, becoming a wielder at the age of 16. However, her father said she wasn't ready to be a Master ranked Keyblader. When the time comes, he will let her do the test. Before that, since the age of 12 and on wards, strange things began happening. It became worse around 4 months after her 17th Birthday. Her gut instincts along with her spirit instincts were going haywire. Something bad was going to happen.

The dreaded and worst happened: her world was attacked by a massive swarm of heartless. Ayame and her father tried to warp of the attackers and bring people to safety. However it was not enough, and soon her world was dizzy and she fell into blackness.

When she woke up, she found herself in Traverse Town. Luckily, her family was still safe. Well, except for father who seemed to be in a coma like state. When she looked around her surroundings with effort, she found most of the people she know. But a few families, including some of her friend's families, were missing. It was then she made a vow. Get stronger and stop this menace of darkness. Find the rest of her fellow people of Yamato, and especially find her friends. That and find a way to fix her father's state. One other goal is to find her lost uncle.

Currently, she just turned 18 a few months ago. Right now she is mainly settling in and training. She is trying to absorb knowledge and new things so her quest will be be easier.
