A man of his word, Rose can be described as someone who is...mysterious, but good. He look's out not only for his own but for all. He's a man of knowledge and experience, and can be also be deemed a little inconsiderate at some points. He isn't your average everyday Joe. Rose is a man who is blunt, but gentle with his words when need be. He encourages those to not push themselves to the point where they desire to give up. He can be seen as a little lazy, annoying, and an all around asshole, but his intentions are well met. He comes off with the sense of a senseless jerk at times but does it in order to teach a lesson. One could say that his methods are a little twisted when it comes to training his disciples, but always hold high meaning to it that the average could never see.

If memory served him well, he has a past with possibly being a bit distant toward others when it came to talking about himself. He is a very secretive man where not even those close to him or of old allies know much about him. His enemies now, he has many and continues to create more within the future. He, himself, was once a heartless man, but changed his way. He sometimes still holds a heartless heart, but one would never noticed for his tone of voice is usually either happy or lazy. He is a man of great deception when it comes to giving one personality. But that is what makes Rose, Rose.

A man of knowledge and poetry, he is great with memorization and can remember practically every poem he's read on his spare time. He is also a musical man, a lover of song. Whenever one of his disciples are feeling down he would play a little tune on the piano or would sing them a song that would cheer them up in a long run. Sometimes Rose will even give them a great insight on the quotes that he has lived by, which is a small insight on the type of person he used to be. Rose is an all around great Keyblade Master, father, ally, and friend.

History

Born within the Land of Departure, it has been a place where he's resided all of his life, destined to lead those who will become future keyblade wielders. It is a task that he was destined from birth to be given, born the as the second eldest child out of four, he was noted to be the second who would rival the first. The first child had been named, Snow. Snow was the child who had been prophesied to dual his younger sibling, Rose, for the title of Keyblade Master when it was time to take the exams. But of course, there were two other siblings who were also granted a choice to take this test alongside their brethren. Each of the four children were born of different mothers, but held the same father.

Rose's father was a man who didn't love too easily, and only held one true love. That was the mother of Snow, Veronica, his first wife. Not to say that he didn't love his first wife, but ever since her death against a powerful heartless his father had lost his way. His father was heartless man, a man who didn't deem either of his four children fit for the next Keyblade Master. But he sought potential within one of his children, and he sought it through the help of the current ruler of Yensid Tower. He foretold that the second child, Rose, had been deemed worthy of taking the title, but there loomed a shadow within the corner.

Rose's father held a conversation with him the next day after. Rose was only seventeen at the time and didn't have a care in the world, he was nonchalant, and not very enthusiastic about the fortune that was told. Rose's father stated that in order to prove if this fortune was either correct or wrong, the Mark of Mastery had to be adjusted within the end of the year. A family meeting was held to discuss the Mark of Mastery as all four children had gotten together: Snow, Rose, Sky, and Sakura. The four of them had been preparing for quite some years now, and it was time for them to prove themselves at a young age.

During the Mark of Mastery they had faced many trials, trials that involved protecting a town from certain danger, taking on a high ranked mission, and gathering as many hearts as possible. The Mark of Mastery hadn't lasted a day, but a week. Within the end of said exam, their father had them both battle against one another. Each child specialized within something that made them unique. Snow, with his strength excelling above all. He possessed the natural affinity within physical hand-to-hand combat and swordsmanship. Sakura, graceful and poise within both magic and physical combat. She was considered to have been quite ensured of beating both Snow and Rose with ease, but in the end didn't uphold the proper attitude for the job. Sky, the child who excelled pass all three of his siblings within magic. He was quite an unstoppable being once he comined his keyblade and magic as one. And lastly, Rose, Rose is a slacker, he isn't all that skillful as he should be within fighting, and he can be quite lazy sometimes. But what makes Rose so different from all three of his siblings is that he has the heart of a true Keyblade Master, he's strategic, thinks outside of the box, and doesn't allow his ego to get out of hand. That was what made his father choose him.

Being given the title of Keyblade Master wasn't a very exciting thing to have received, but he understood. He wasn't too excited about the idea of having to teach troublesome kids, but it was his job. If he could purify the world of Heartless and Nobodies? Well, then it was his destiny to raise the future warriors who would do just that.

For the rest of his life, there are secrets that Rose can't disclose involving his family to others. He currently resides within the Land of Departure awaiting for a certain someone to return into his life, but for the time being he teachers the current Keyblade Wielders all in while searching for the others and fighting against the Nobodies.
