ABIGAIL PARKINSON
|
Appearance |
At one time Abbi had been one of the happiest of people. But she has since then become less enthusiastic. Instead she is more apathetic in the way that she seems to feel. seeming to be disinterested. But she isn't, she just appears to have a blank expression is all. When casting a spell her eyes glow a bright red to show that she is expelling magic from her body. Sometimes, when she is calm and relaxed, or under a lot of pressure her hands will start shaking. She is unsure of why this happens, but has become very nervous of it. She finds that the less she moves around the less her body actually responds to her and the more depressed she feels. So she moves a lot in an attempt to keep her body healthy and mobile, and to keep herself from drowning in depression. |
Personality |
Despite the lack of apathy in Abigail's expressions this doesn't hold her above emotions. She feels very deeply for herself and for others and tends to care more then most people about everything. This can lead to her being quite impulsive when she feels something strongly. Which is why she now has a troublemaking shapeshifter and an obnoxious chicken following her around wherever she goes. She is very much an introvert, keeping mainly to herself except to share the life she has created with the two boys that she pulled along with her, she tends to be a very introverted kind of person. She is a dreamer. What would be called an INFP (for people know know what Myres Briggs is.) Out of everything she understands the nature around her most of all. The plants and animals that she takes tender care of. Plants and animals are safe for her to be around. She knows for a fact that they won't hurt her and instead will only serve to protect her. While nature is a dangerous place to be there is always a place for her within it. She is overly protective of those under her care and that includes Jack and the obnoxious chicken. Why does she keep the chicken around? Truly it was an accident, but that doesn't change the fact that she feels responsible for him. She will protect them both with her life and will present to them nothing less. Despite her "big heart" she is a tough nut to crack, being very sensitive about herself and very private about her true feelings. Because of past hurts its hard for her to let people in. She has been known to be Naive when she finds one she feels she can trust and can be pulled in quite easily. Her emotional ways being like a charm to those that may not know her. |
History |
Long story short, Abigail was born the daughter of a great wizard, and that great wizard didn't turn out so great after all. At the age of ten she was left alone tasked with keeping the book of the woods safe. That was her job. It was her duty. As a ten year old wizard. Having been left by her father to learn the ways of the universe herself she began to travel. It was one of the only spells she had learned from her father. But she always left the book in a safe hidden place where it wouldn't be disturbed on the world of Radiant Gardens. The Book had a spell on it of course. She was bound to it, just as her father had been. That book was her source of life. If touched by someone other then her, or put into danger, she would know. Even the pages call out to her when found. She travelled from world to world searching for places where the nature was in danger. She became like the "Daughter of Nature." and that was what she called herself for a long time. While on her search, she ran into a man. This man found her alone and it didn't take long for her to give her heart over to him. Only thirteen she didn't know any better. but taking advantage was a literal understatement. I'm not going to get into details of any part of this relationship, just know that she had to be saved and nurtured by a local maiden before she was told to leave the world and never come back. So she did. She left and never went back. At the age of fourteen she came across another world where a forest fire had hit. She used as much of her nature magic as she could to put the first out, but she merely managed to save a small cat like creature. Several days past as she nursed him back to health and then he woke. She could tell there was strange magic at work within the cat, but didn't know until he revealed his secret. Then he asked her about other Shapeshifters. With a heavy heart she shook her head. Then he left. He ran back into the dead forest. Gone for so long, she used that time alone to sob bitterly. She hadn't been able to save the forest... To save his family. When he came back she had finished crying already. He asked to join her in her travels and sorrowfully she accepted. She so desperately wanted to make it up to him. And even though he played his games and told his stories she could feel the deep pain inside of him. His lies she never picked up on. The only ones she never believed were the ones that said he was ohkay. The ones that told her he wasn't hurting. She knew better. For she was hurting from that day as well. Somewhere between the ages fifteen and sixteen she found that her expressions got less and less, she felt depressed when she didn't move, and the tremors in her fingers started. It wasn't bad, and at first she was curious about it. But she soon became terribly afraid of it. Very slowly, it got worse. She began to hide it, afraid of what it might be. It worried her that the book might be responsible, but she had checked the book several times and nothing seemed to be strange or different about it. Was there magic in it that her father hadn't told her about? Abbi never found out what it truly was, and is still searching for a way to make it stop. Seventeen years old and she found herself and her companion in a strange world. This world was where she met him. She fell, and fell hard. Not because he was royalty. Not because he was handsome. It was the gentle way he touched her and caressed her. The way she didn't have trouble with those trembles or hesitancies. Her heart (what was left) became his until she found out who he really was. It was the princess of the world that told her who he really was. The fact that she had fallen for his tacts as well as Abbi. Crushed with the news she had gone back to confront this man. Confront him about the other women. About the lies he had told her. About the way she had felt when she had been with him. He couldn't deny it. She wouldn't allow him. She was in hysterics, at boiling point, ready to kill. He had no say, no plea. She didn't even allow him to defend himself. In this crazed state, ready to punish the vines and the birds reached out to her. Locking them both in a wave of magic so strong she didn't even know she had this magic. Of course a curse came along with it and the two of them became bound together. Bound to a book. Bound to a chicken. Bound to a deceiving cat... Since then, both boys had followed her on her travels. While she has found she is held responsible for them both, she keeps her inner emotions to herself and away from them. |
