Azazel woke up, not noticing the drop of red liquid as it rolled down his bony cheek. He was sitting just outside what looked to be a clock tower, with a train leaving out one of the sides. The view of the drop-off into a twilight void was amazing with the sunset.
"Where did you leave me this time, Azazle?" Of course there was no answer. There never was. Sometimes Azazel wished they could talk like real crazy people. Instead they had to send each other letters in their journal. Speaking of which...
'Dear Azzie, You suck.' Azazle was still as cross as ever, it seemed. 'I hope you're happy! You got on a train without writing down where you were headed! I was the lucky passenger who got asked if he knew where his ticket was for! So of course I didn't know, and they dumped us off at the first stop. Only reason you aren't in jail is because I found a fat guy in here who is willing to pay my bail. Seems he's into kids, or something. Which reminds me, I hope to deal with the mess before you get your turn, but just to be safe, avoid any allies nearby. Oops, gotta go, guards just noticed the journal, can't let them have it!' Azazel stared at the page for several moments. Well, that was nice, covering a stranger's bail like that.
"I hope I get a chance to meet this large man, it would be nice to thank him, and I bet Azazle didn't..." Azazel sighed, hopping up from his seat. The view of the city, wherever it was, was beautiful. To bad there was no-one here to enjoy it with... | I'm in trouble for the things I haven't got to yet...
notes: Sorry the majority is Azazle's latest journal entry; mostly trying to get into character, and set the scene.
also, the question mark in the thread name is indicative of both of them spending a lot of time in Halloween Town, post-darkness, so they may have met before. Up to you. |

The monster was asleep, she had decided to take that time to explore the world better, before they went back to their mission. World itself had a constant orange glow that was continuous and rather annoyingly, nothing like that at home. She wished they could return home, all these other worlds were happily depressing, nothing like their homeworld.
She eventually escaped the tunnel system, something she had been wondering around for hours, luckily she didn't run into any sort of trouble down there. Exiting the tunnels she noticed a large terrace area showing everything far below, something that should have been breathtaking, something that just seem too hideously beautiful. This was place was not home, never would be, why did her master choose this hideous place to take a rest?
Closer she drew to the train tracks, must have missed the most recent train, she really didn't care. It was all made by pathetic humans that should just rot from were they came. Little cockroaches consuming every-world they colonized, the only thing they were good for was delicious bake sweets and to scare.
Speaking of humans, she saw one wearing a hood, just standing there. She decided to ignore the pesky thing walking around it to get a better look at these "train" inventions. Her red cloak wrapped protectively around her, her hood down allowing her hair medium length brown hair to enjoy the blowing small wind.

Azazel leaned on the balcony, enjoying the view. It wasn't as scary as home, but it was nice. Calm, in a way Halloween Town never was. Especially after the darkness came.
But enough of that! Azazel looked around the terrace. He wasn't the only one. There was a girl in a red hood. The look on her face was one of boredom. Was she a native? No, she looked familiar, and Azazel had never been here before...
"Rossa? Is that you?" Azazel skipped over to her. "It is! Man, I haven't seen you in forever! How have you been?" Azazel was so happy to see her, especially in a nice place like this. When he had escaped the darkness, he had been sad to find out Rossa hadn't been able to come with. It was good to see she found her own way out!
"Do you live in this world now? I just got here, and was enjoying the view. It's really pretty, isn't it?" Azazel gestured at the sunset animatedly, the single drop of red liquid on his cheek continuing it's trip down his face. He still hadn't noticed it (no skin: no sense of touch). | I'm in trouble for the things I haven't got to yet...

She heard her name from behind, she hardly ever heard her name anymore. Why she used it the first years of enslavement, but eventually it began to dissolve away almost to having no real meaning to it. The fact it was still used, still recognizable made her paused shocked. What sort of human knew her name? Her true name? Humans knew nothing, they were nothing, how did?
That was when he skipped next to her, she would recognize that skeletal face from anywhere. She stared up at him wondering which one it was. Though considering the smile, it was probably Azazel and not her master's fellow associate. She smiled a tidbit happy to see a familiar face, though the smile quickly faded as she remembered how dangerous friends were and how much a reminder he was to their home. He began quizzing her questions about whether she lived here or not and reminding how hideously pretty the place was. All she she could do was look down at the tracks wishing he would go away, but him probably not budging.
She looked down toward his shoes noticing drips of blood, slowly she looked at his face to see the blood still there. She gave a small not caring for his life sort of mumble, "you're bleeding" then calmly looked away not really giving anymore answer to any of his questions, wishing he would just go away. As glade as she was to see him, it would only bring her pain to become friends with him. last time her master made her kill a bunch of bunny rabbits... And one human kid. She didn't like those pathetic human kids, but some odd reason it still tore her to shreds to be forced to kill one before her very eyes. Stupid master and his laws, why didn't he let her have any fun? Just because she was some vessel, empty shell? Realizing her feelings and memories began to speed her heartbeat up, she quickly took a calm breath slowing it down. No emotions, no feelings... Just only cold, only cold darkness.
