Che dothras che drivos ~DIFFICULTY; MASTER. SO YOU WANNA RECOVER A WORLD, HUH? IN ORDER TO SAVE THIS WORLD AND BRING IT BACK YOU MUST FIGHT THROUGH THE DARKNESS TO GET TO THE WORLD'S KEYHOLE. THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF ENEMIES. STRONG ONES TOO. MOST NOTABLY A MINI BOSS AND MAIN BOSS.
YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS ON THE WORLD NOT THE PATH TO GET HERE. I WILL BE SETTING THE SCENE AND MONSTERS, BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT'S ALL YOU GUYS. ANY AND ALL INPUT IS APPRECIATED!
THERE WILL BE OTHER REWARDS BESIDES THE BOARD BEING MADE, AND THOSE WILL BE BASED ON YOUR ACTIONS. THIS SHALL BE NO EASY TASK. WE WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK.~
You appear next to a fountain in the middle of the main town square. Everything has a creepy feel to it to begin with, but with the added darkness it all seems less Halloween scary and more, well scary.
The fountain itself is rather odd. It consists of a serpent type creature bent over holding it's neck and vomiting. It has teeny wings, horns and a little devil tail. However no liquid is coming out, only wisps of darkness.
This could be due to the heartless taking over the world... but it's still weird. In fact, maybe it's clogged? Somewhere down the line. There's no one else around. The residents are either hiding or have fallen to the heartless.
From here you can see the outlines of some of the other buildings. If it wasn't so foggy, you would be able to see more. It's not even really fog. It's a dark haze, similar to that of black smoke. It doesn't burn either of your lungs either, so it seems mostly harmless.
A search ghost is floating towards you both. It hasn't noticed you yet however, it's just. Patrolling? It's light trying to see through the haze.

He feels a little bad about dragging Kotako all this way without really telling him fully what they where doing. After his meeting with Lilith he ran right over to him told him to pack up the scimitar that I bought for him. Kotako didnt even know about the little weapon that he now had bound to him. But never the less he will find out soon enough, because he was pretty sure that this wasn't going to be easy. Milo had picked his place because from what he had read about it, he would be a perfect place to hide there base. Hopefully it just randomly opening up without anyone knowing who did it would create to much suspicion. Of course, Milo was going to do the same with some other worlds if he could so as to keep attention off of this world. Looking around this place did seem to keep up with the rumors he had heard of it being creepy. But there seemed to be an extra layer of it here, created from the heartless no doubt. It didnt bother Milo a ton, but when he say the patrolling thing, that well he could only describe as a ghost he new is was time to be on the look out. There best chance of getting through this easily would be sneak around and find the leader of the heartless here, show him who is boss and open the keyhole. That may have sounded easy, but he is pretty sure that it isn't going to be. It really was going to be one hell of a ride and he hoped this foolish "king" was ready for it. So drawing his lovely Katana but leaving the sheathe in the loop, which was odd and not how he normally fought, he got ready to face the ghost if they had to. "Be ready Kotako." And then with a dark shimmering a strange dark blade with what looked like key teeth at the end appeared in his other hand where normally his Sheathe would be held in a fight.

Transporting into a place I absolutely knew nothing about, why was I even here? What did this have to do about anything? This place was nothing like home, it was dark creepy, and Cold! Who wants to live somewhere cold! I for one prefer the desert sun, causing perfect golden tans, that was the place to be.. That is the world everyone should be at. I hated this world, why did I have to payback Milo for everything, such a kind King I was.
Taking a deep kingly breath, I pulled out the newly highly refined scimitar out. Yes, I owed him, that was just it... I owed him, I was merely doing a King's duty. Looking around I moved smoothly closer to him, specifically few inches behind him. When he suddenly spoke talking about be ready, ready... ready.. to fight? How long... how long it has been. To be a true bandit.
Suddenly before I could even process what it was, a shimmering light then a dark blade was held in his hand. What was that? I never saw that before, ruining what was probably a perfect entry movement for him, I pointed at the ugly thing. "What is that? thing" Never once had I saw anything like it, looked similar to a key... Why was he holding a longer over-dramatic key? Should it not be the king who holds the big fancy key? Also who brings a key to a fight? To a robbery? Why if I didn't know better he was a buffoon.
Well whatever, I had my style... and he had his... more flashy... prettier than mine.. I had my beauty, moving with slick ease and speed. I cared not for his foolishy, though was he taking this seriously? I mean he acted like with his big words "be ready kotako" or was it some big joke? Joke I am not getting? Why adding to the list, was this key an invisible key? Why did I even care, I was a King, commoner's duties and choices are not my business! I am happy with what I have, though... so flashy, I deserved something oh so flashy.
With a slight snicker, hiding the secret agony of jealousy, I moved away from the hideous fountain looking around. "Where are we?" I asked not really caring, just deep down wanting to know the world I should hate so much.

Che dothras che drivos The search ghost heartless continues to bebop around in the unnatural fog. Its eye waving around its spotlight as it continues on. As it draws closer, you notice four more similar lights in the area around you.
More ghosts. They're also just patrolling. Drifting along, waiting for something to get into their light. It would be impossible to move through here without setting at least one off. But being sneaky and choosing a specific one isn't a bad option.
There's a faint skittering as well. Similar to that of a beetle Quite a few of them by the sound of it. They seem to be coming from the ground. The sound gets louder, as if more bugs had joined in the march.
It gets louder and louder the longer the two of you stand there. One of the ghosts gets very close to Milo with its spotlight, but turns around right at the last inch. Lucky.
The fountain starts to shake a little, the ground vibrating around it.

Milo really doesn't have a good feeling about the ground shaking. He looks back to Kotako and raises his keyblade, "This thing is a weapon with some of strongest potential in all the worlds." He analyzes all of the ghost that we have to deal with right now. If we take out one, we might be able to move along without having to take on any of the others. As one of the ghosts gets close to him he holds still hoping that it wont notice him. Looking around he spots the one they need, on the other side of the fountain. If they take out that one they could be able to pass though here and move forward. Where they were going Milo was unsure of though, he had gotten some vague reports on the leader, talking about how he had moves around a lot. They could try and find him and fight as little as possible or try and make a big ruckus, and bring him to them. The latter doesn't sound like to much fun to Milo, it would do nothing but weaken him for the fight at hand. So they would have to be in for the long hall. Milo starts to sneak around the Ghost he had picked out. "Distract that one when I give you a signal, but Only that one." He manages to get around the fountain and around the heartless without much trouble, but he needs kotako's help to get this done. He holds his sword ready to pounce whistling a short low tone at Kotako, lets hope he gets the signal.

Notes: I'm going to only use Third person from this point on during mission thread, letting you guys know as not to cause confusion. The peasant explained how the key was strongest weapon of in all the worlds, it seemed bit nonsense to Kotako. Though he hoped the weapon could do as much damage as Milo had claimed, maybe he should get one too? Where would one buy such a powerful weapon. On second thought how does one steal an invisible weapon?
After few moments passed, Kotako finally got the idea to actually check out the area. He noticed something in the distance, with a light? It drew closer, he was able to get a better look. The light was in its eye? The creature looked so much like his homeworld's poes, only it held similar symbol as those at training. Soon after this creature came closer, four more lights showed up.
Such oddity each world had, why in his homeworld the creatures would merely become impossible to hit when one came close, and carried around a lamp throwing fireballs. What were these creatures to do? Did their eyes pop out fireballs? Did they become impossible to hit as well? He better be cautious on this one, he had lost bandits form these sort of creations.
Breaking focus on the poe-like creature, soon little noises... Noises that were similar to the scarabs digging their way up out of the ground, much similar to those caught and used for the gerudo dances. More and more of the noise, till eventually the ground began to shake. This, was not good. If the ground ever shook the ground always eats you, that is what those several pitfalls of sand.
Kotako looked toward Milo slightly fear in his eyes, he had not done this in such a long time, maybe he wasn't quite cut out for this? Obviously not noticing Kotako at all, Milo begins sneaking around toward one of those poe-like creatures. Seeing absolutely no choice, and not wanting to stay in one place he silently followed. Eventually Milo spoke softly giving a command, the chicken rather disliked, he was the pro at sneaking should he not do it? Though, he owed the guy and didn't question, he stayed there watching Milo til he could not longer see the partner.
Soon right after there was a short low toned whistle, well hell to this. The chicken decided best course of action would be threw a rock at the poe-like creature. Maybe with him out of view the rock would actually make contact and not go through. Picking up the rock he threw it aiming at the ghost's lit up eye, it had been a while since he actually aimed at anything with Abigail's ridiculous captivity. Why he should buy a bow if he lived after this, get some practice back in.

Che dothras che drivos The search ghost shudders when the rock hits it upside the head. It spins around looking for a moment. What could that have been? It shines its spotlight down on the rock and inspects it. After realizing that it is in fact a rock, and that fighting said rock would be futile. The search ghost continues its patrol.
It's not going to be easy to get past them with their overlapping routes. One of them suddenly lets out a siren like noise. The spotlight turning blood red, its head spinning as it sounds the alarm. It spotted Kotako.
It had switched routes when it noticed its comrade getting hit with a rock. Slinking around to see where it came from, it hit the jackpot.
It springs into attack mode swiping at him with its large ghostly hands. They look rather soft normally, but when they attack they pack a punch. It was as if their hands were suddenly made of cement.
This search ghost's actions starts a chain reaction. One massive change is they seem to have doubled. There were five prior to the siren, now there are ten search ghosts. They all start moving towards the one that is attacking. The violence drawing them closer.
Hopefully they don't summon more every time their alarms go off. The rumbling seems to have stopped as soon as the first ghost went on the offensive.
The other ghosts start setting off the same signal as their lights land on Milo and Kotako.
One of them has something unique about it. Something shiny seems to be stuck behind its visible ribs. It glints in the light. But it is only noticeable when a spotlight hits it. Once they all start going into attack mode, it's going to be near impossible to tell them apart. I suppose that means you have to take out all ten to find it.
The good news is the rock Kotako threw earlier counted as an attack. The bad news is, they're all identical so the one that has damage could be any of them. More bad news is, you two aren't sure just how powerful these guys are. Nor how resilient.

Shit! Milo uses the power of this legs and jumps up making sure that he lands next to Kotako. He had really hoped that that would work. But once he notices the shinning part of one of the Ghosts he smirks. Maybe it was for best, and luck is actually with us. He was going to have to hope that that was the case. Because otherwise he and his friend here might be dead. Taking a deep breath, he then exhales, a dark aura extending off of his skin and creating a bubble that seems to absorb light. Fear, sinking into all who are part of it, and the feeling that Milo is Strong. Part of this is the intimidation, but since it doesn't work as well on other heartless Milo was going to be using it mainly so that he could extend how many times he can use his powers. Because of the aura's second effect. But maybe if luck holds, all but the one with the shinning peace are weak enough to run from the aura. But Milo wasn't going to bank on that. He is wielding a keyblade, and was an intruder. This was likely going to be a fight, and not an easy one. He lets his form shift, into his more demonic look. Hand gripping his weapons firmly. "I guess we are gunna have to fight. Ready friend?" He says this without looking at Kotako, the risk of them getting a hit on to high. But he would have to hope that he can withstand the aura. He cant really make is so that it doesn't effect him. His one real boon being that he is a heartless and naturally less effected by it. Cracking his neck Milo glares at the ghosts, he was ready.

The rock made contact, did little to no damage to show, the poe-thing hardly seemed distracted. Well that was an utter complete waste, maybe he should have just stood in front of the creature. That was when another one suddenly sounded of a siren, what the hell? Kotako covered his ears awkwardly from the sudden noise and well blade still in hand. The creature making that Gawd awful noise light had turned red, well holy frickfrack this was just absolutely perfect! Perfect! All of it!
That very same damn creature began heading in his direction, that did not look safe, not safe at all. All he could do was leave his hiding spot trying to stay of the creature's reach, and most importantly probably soul snatching power. It managed to make a hit, damn did it hurt, probably be a bruise. The painful feeling left good news and bad news, these things didn't steal souls.. Bad news.. it hurt a lot, a whole hell of a lot.
If that wasn't worst, when he absolutely finally regained some defense and footing... All of the ghosts seemed to suddenly double, what the hell was this? See, this is why nobody messes with the poe's from his world... nobody... They pull these sorts of stunts, okay not really, but it at least made him feel slightly better! Whose bright idea was this! Oh yeah, the guy he severally owed, damn it all.
It was then his commoner had returned, oh how he was glade to see the guy. A sudden darkness began coming from the guy, what was this? While at first it sent shivers down his back, the sort of shivers his Goddess gave him, it had little to no effect. Ha! Whatever it was, it held no effect on him! He was a king after all!
The of course Milo just had to speak words, right now of all cases. The words for some odd reason made him feel slightly better, putting a grin on his face, maybe he could speak words too. Hell, he could speak them better he was a king after all, a king who needed violence back in his life. Not some damn cat or silly girl, real danger! This brought a flame to his heart, maybe he could show this commoner how it was done. "Certainly, a King is always ready." His reply was very light and happy, even though his very life was at ends meet here. Especially, if these things kept growing.
Pulling up sword in ready position, he prepared what was about to come. His main goals following the guy he owed to whatever this damned battle lead them to.

Che dothras che drivos Once the heartless are upon them they begin to attack. Swiping and hitting at the two of them. They're all mixed around, no telling which is which. All lights are focused on the two newcomers, and with the way they keep weaving around there's no way to tell which one was shiny. They have split up though. 5 have zeroed in on Milo, and another 5 on Kotako.
Half-circling each of them. They're lights are locked on to each of them respectively. The sirens have stopped, but their lights are flashing between red and yellow. Possibly disorienting. It's butt kicking time! Attack! Attack! These ghosts also seem to have everything planned out more than your average group of heartless.
The ghosts show no signs of being affected by the aura. Though the ground starts to shake harder now. A screeching noise has joined the skittering. As if a thousand tiny voices are screaming bloody murder under the ground. This isn't good. This isn't good at all.

Milo curses under his breath. This was getting out of hand, and far to quickly for his liking. It was about time he tried to end this quickly. He feels into his pockets to make sure he has his either potion on him before he attempts what he is about to do. Feeling it there, he let out a resigned sigh, he hated having to use potions in battle they made him feel weak. But he was going to have to do what ever it took at this exact moment to get through this and open this world for his Mistress. Sheathing his Katana, he holds his keyblade in both hands. He was going to have to channel everything he had for this attack. He holds up his keyblade above his head. "Kotako, stay close to me." Dark balls of fire start to form about five feel from Milo circling him. All about medium size. They should pack a sizable punch. 1, 2, 3... 10. He was about to reach his limit, he wasn't going to be able to summon more then this unless he made them smaller, but these foes dont looks like push overs so he was going to have to live with one per. Taking a deep breath he lifts his keyblade into the air and shouts "Dark Firaga!" The dark fire balls fly up and then crash down on all of the damned ghosts as Milo falls to one knee feeling almost all of his energy draining from him. Quickly he scratches within his coat and downs his either. Feeling energy return to him slowly, still on one knee.

Staying close to Milo, he listened to the command then staying as close as possible. The commoner began to summon dark balls of flames, his hope flared it up with them. Once created, and still circling with a simple word the fireballs were sent out. All aimed at crashing down the ghosts, quickly as if all the energy of some sort was taken out of Milo he fell to one knee.
While normally Kotako would have made some rude thought about on falling to one knee, however he was too busy figuring out the spell. He kinda felt a bit of jealousy toward the commoner at have such a power. While, he only had was this weapon. A weapon he knew truly knew little about, only believing it to be scimitar and nothing more.

Che dothras che drivos most of the ghosts completely disintegrated in Milo's attack. The three remaining were stunned and severely wounded. bobbing up and down as they levitated, hanging their heads. They were easy pickings at this point. However. A spell of that magnitude wasn't going to go unnoticed. No... The ground shook harder. The screeching little voices growing closer. The fountain shook, and there was the sound of a drain unclogging followed by a small wet plop.
Something fell out of the mouth of the fountain. As it tried to scurry its way out of the fountain, it let out the same screechy noise. Until finally it got up to the rim. It was a very large bug. About the size of a large rat. It's appearance was a cross between a tick, and an elephant beetle. A heartless symbol etched into its shell.
The ground wasn't shaking as hard as before. But the fountain definitely was. After the bug seemed to get its bearings, it started to scurry towards Milo and Kotako. Fast. There was another plop as one more fell out of the fountain. Then another. there was the sound of metal creaking. the shaking seemed more stable, that was until the mouth of the fountain busted open.
The wider exit allowed a sudden rush of brown chunky liquid to come pouring out...
Wait...
That's not liquid. That's hundreds upon hundreds of those large heartless bugs. Pouring out, filling the basin of the fountain. Squealing and skittering, the more that came out, the easier it was for them to start spilling over and crashing down to the ground. Swarming and skittering.
Oh and that shiny thing that used to be in one of the ghosts, glints off to the side. A golden key. Just laying there on the ground. Next to Kotako's foot. It must have bounced over there as the ghost that held it was killed.
