A black choppy hair looking young man came to this world frequently, the nightly designed atmosphere always made him feel at home. The residents had adapted to this nightly atmosphere by adding lots of lamps so anyone could see up and down the middle of the street, though there were some darker areas that creatures of darkness liked to lurk.
He entered the district looked around at all the busy people in the area, he must have came too early for the true night. The time of day when most of the residents were all getting ready to sleep for the next day. It was always better to attack residents when there were few on the streets.
The young man decided to wait for the time to pass, he leaned his back across one of the walls with his arms crossed. His eyes closed as he relaxed just a tad. If anyone on the street were to pass by they would see regular young adult looking figure with black clothing, just trying to look cool leaning against the wall.

A bushy tail wagged behind him as Jeremy walked along, a smile on his muzzle with his eyes closed. Hearing and scent were doing good enough to direct his path....or so he thought. Bumping into a wall caused him to halt and open his eyes. Okay that wasn't such a good idea. Large ears slanted as he rubbed his dark brown nose and continued on his way.
"Okay let's see....what did I need to get again?" Jeremy thought as he started to search his pockets.
"Look out!!" a couple of kids called out thus he looked up.
Ducking down as a tennis ball went over his head, he watched it hit the ground and start to bounce away. Standing up it was tempting to go after it but the kids soon stopped in front of him.
"Mister, can you help us find our ball?" One of the asked, large perked as his human side quickly subsided.
"I get it!" Jeremy said happily as he took off after it, his bushy tail wagging behind him.
The ball bounced along until it came to a slow stop oddly enough at the feet of a young man in black leaning against the wall. Jeremy was clueless they were there as he went after the ball, pretty much pouncing on it. With the round object caught and tail wagging still, his light blue eyes soon could make out the appearance of shoes and that was enough to snap him out of it for now as he looked up at the man.
"Oh, hello." Jeremy greeted as he stood up. "What are you doing?"

boing, boing a sound of a near by bouncing ball further down the walkway. The man ignored the noise trying to think of a plan for his protege, his patience holding still like a calm crane. When suddenly something had landed on his feet, a large weight that made him temporarily believe he was under attack. His eyes hooting wide open to see large batch of fur wagging back and forth, the fur leading to some sort of human dog creature.
Before the young man could do anything about this "attacker, the attacker finally noticed he was standing there. The odd creature gave a hello, not apologizing. Raising a left eyebrow the young man gave the creature a look up and down, trying to figure what its deal was.
He eventually came to the conclusion that it was some sort of regular resident he never noticed before, and decided it best to act like a normal human. " Are you going to apologize?" he held his mentor teaching demeanor, almost trying to teach the creature a lesson. He loosened up a bit deciding maybe this new thing could explain what it was and where it came from. "What does it look like I am doing? Standing obviously, what are you doing attacking my feet?"

"Huh?" Jeremy replied confused as he stood there, tilting his head.
Apologize? For what? Jeremy hadn't noticed he had caught the man's feet temporary when he went for the ball. If he had, he would've though he was soon told. His ears perked and lowered at being told this. His tail stopped it's happy motion.
"Sorry, I didn't know I had gotten your feet too. I was getting this." Jeremy answered, holding the tennis ball out to the man. "These kids asked me if I could go get it for them and well....I guess my stronger nature took over again. I really am sorry but when it comes to some things, I just lose myself."
It was true, Jeremy's dog genetics and nature were rather overpowering. A thing his father tried to help him with all his years of life. There was some success but it would always come back an get him into trouble.
"I'm Jeremy Schmidt, and you?" Jeremy asked, holding out a free hand to shake with the man.

Oh? That was it, then? He had a knack for taking on "dog-like" persona? How far did this go, this made him a bit curious about this creature. This thing had ears that perked up then lowered as if reflecting his emotions, if that was not obvious there was the tail too.
This oddity made the young man push himself off the wall to get a closer look at the creature. He began circling the creature occasionally leaning closer for a better view. The way it stood, the way it seemed to show emotion, why this was quite an experience.
Eventually he stopped back in front of the creature, and the creature offered its hand calling itself 'Jeremy Schmidt". Going to many worlds this sort of thing was a Norm for him, though it still was always an interesting experience. He offered his hand signing the contract of apology and greeting, "Nagi, nice tail and ears you got there. Where you born here?"

Due to being half monster dog and half human it was a possible outcome to act dog like, however his genetic coding resembled more of his mother. He was just without a larger form and left with this kind of inbetween man an dog appearance. He liked the way he looked, he just wanted to be able to control his dog like ways like his brother could. His ears and tail were functional like a real dog's, hence he was more expressive than some. As the stranger circled him, the ears twitched and he turned his head to watch em. Revealing his muzzle a bit more since if you looked at him in the front the muzzle was a bit hard to see but a side view revealed it.
It was nice though that the man shook hands with him considering the accident. Some people didn't take kindly to it. Once shaken, Jeremy released their hand; Nagi would've felt the smooth fur instead of skin. The ears perked and tail wagged a bit at the complaiment.
"Thanks, my brother's got em too though he's a lot more normal looking." Jeremy replied. "Oh no, father said we were born wherever mom was from but she sent us here due to some danger as well as wanting to raise us all together. Though Mom wasn't in the ship when Dad found it crashed so I guess she wasn't able to get in with us."

So the creature was half whatever its birth mother, and Danger? He was intrigued what sorts of dangers? Were the dangers that of natural world disasters, or more than that? He leaned closer peering with curiosity, "Is that all you know?" he leaned back away slightly unsure whether this creature could have anymore intel, this was almost getting a bit of a bore. "Did you plan to seek your Mother? Is it not your duty as a child to protect her?"
His thoughts began to wonder, specifically how smooth the fur felt, he looked at his hands wanting a little bit more of the feeling. Before he considered the appropriate normal human communication, he lifted his hands toward the head of the creature meaning to pet it between the ears. He himself was unaware of this action, and might be

"It's all that dad knows, the note wasn't really specific on what was going on." Jeremy answered as he stood there. "I'd like to met her but I've got no idea where to look, plus...I wouldn't be the best one to send after her with how badly my other nature takes over. Marco and Jubilee would be best to look for her."
It was true, Marco and Jubilee had a stronger grasps on themselves. Course Jubilee didn't appear to have much of their mother in her like Marco and himself. Still they would be better to search for her. Long an large ears twitched as he noticed Nagi reached forward and thus he tilted his head confused. What were they doing? Soon though he could feel fingertips against the short fur on his ears and it seemed they found a good spot, for his tail wagged back an forth.

He blinked a few times realizing his action, what was that? It must have been some sort of leftover from raising a 7 year old for 7 years, what was his deal? He stepped away shoving his hands in his pockets not wanting another soft touch temptation. He thought of a quick way to fix this little situation, to fix his mistake against his own being.
A small worry frown spread across his lips, "What if she really needed you? Are you not better suited with your better gifts?" He paused letting the question sink in before continuing, " Shouldn't you be wanting to do anything to help her out? Is it just not right to move on like she was nothing?" He watched the dog to see if there was any reaction, occasionally checking to see if any of the populace had declined.

Ears lowered as he stood there, he didn't know. HE didn't know if she needed their help or not. Clearly she hadn't appeared for years but...but still.
"I...I don't even know what she looks like, let alone where to look." Jeremy answered. "She sent that letter with us when....when my siblings and I were all newborns....it...it's been years. My brother has these gifts too, I just took more of the appearance than he did..."
"Hey mister!" A voice called, causing the ears to perk as he looked over his shoulder. "Did you find our ball?"
"Oh, here ya go." Jeremy said as he held it out to the child, who happily took it.
"Thank you." and with that the child left.

Nagi turned his back to the dog arms up in the air in a shrug of "who cares", his reply ton completely covered in mockery. "Ahh that's too bad, it must be nice being raised with only a Father to love. With no idea about anything but a small tiny little town to call home. Such a shame with all those great worlds out there to explore and make new friends in. All because you had no heart to find out what happened to your Mother. We wouldn't want a complete perfect family, would we?"
If this was not going to go anywhere, he debated on leaving, maybe he should visit milo now... It has been several years, the poor boy might miss him, as much as he missed his missing parents. Though at same time, he had all night to explore and waste, he could just do it another day, he had a few years before his apprentice graduation, so much free time... What to do, what to do.

Truthfully...it wasn't. He loved his father but it was clear that his father struggled greatly with em. The fact that only Jubilee seemed to take to human ways and childhood raising was the only blessing he got. With two other kids who acted like puppies for a majority of their lives was a problem made worse by the fact that Jeremy was so far worse. He was more dog than his brother was.
"I just don't have the means, I...I don't have money to buy a way out of here. Plus my siblings and father, I just can't leave em. Even if I do cause problems without meaning to." Jeremy answered.

Nagi began walking away almost as if ignoring the dog blabber and question himself. At the very last second he partially turn his head, a bit of a smile on it, "Who knows, fate could help you out. Why not actually try instead of being a coward?"
With that said he began walking away to another district. His eyes partially flashing a brighter yellow at the bit of joy the dog had brought him. Maybe he should pull something similar on Milo? The boy certainly needed the spunk kicker.

Coward? He wasn't that was he? He had his older siblings and father to consider, he couldn't leave them. His ears lowered as he stood there, watching the strange man leave. He didn't speak considering his words did little a moment ago, so all he could do was stand there. Placing his hand into his pocket, he felt something and pulled it out. The list....
"Uh oh!" Jeremy muttered before taking off.
He should've been doing this than chasing after a ball and talking to some strange guy.
