Silence... Complete and utter silence... It was the first thing he noticed about his current surroundings despite his eyes not even being open yet. He was an intelligent being. He knew something very bad had just happened. Some thing devastating. What that was he knew not and almost... couldn't care less. Right now he had bigger problems to worry about. Bigger problems then an unknown incident that clearly happened to him? Yeah, thats right... Wait. He was a him, and his name was... Apollo... There was a long pause before he allowed himself the luxury of opening his eyes. He was laying on cold hard ground in the middle of some kind of alleyway. Curled up in a ball he could barely see anything except the rough blue cloth that covered what he believed to be his legs and the softer white cloth that cover his upper torso. Curiously he lifted his hand to his face and began to move the fingers and opening and closing his palm. For some strange reason it was entertaining. Almost as if he'd never seen his own hand before, or at least not in a very long time. After a few moments of just doing that Apollo looked up at the strange structures that towered above him. He felt like he'd never seen buildings like these before even though he couldn't remember if he had or not. It was sad really, how much he felt like he was a young child learning about the world again. He sat there for a moment before he set his hand on the hard floor and pushed himself up into a sitting position. Where was he? He glanced around with black eyes that took in each and every corner and crevice. Once he had scanned the area at least twice he lifted himself off the floor and tried to stand on his legs. He stumbled and fell back onto his hands and knees. Okay... So his legs were still weak from... whatever had happened... He would have to wait until they gained strength again. Whatever, instead he decided to study his hand some more. As he was doing so he discovered a darkness. One that seeped from his fingertips. A smokey substance that drifted into the sky from his hand. Fascinated, Apollo continued to play with his new found power, until he could feel strength back in his legs. He sat with his knees embracing his face and his bare feet flat on the ground. Just waiting.

❝ | Some things, once you've loved them, become yours forever. And if you try to let them go... They only circle back and return to you. They become part of who you are... ...or they destroy you. | ❞ |
This place was dull. Boring. Xander popped another hard candy into his mouth as he continued with his walk. He wasn't a fan of the scenery around here. He'd been around it entirely too much. But, anything was better than staying inside all day. Spinning in a chair while listening to the others' idle chatter.
On a slow day like this, he would normally leave the world entirely. Things were more interesting everywhere else. There was so much more to do out there. But he didn't feel like going that far. Besides, it was probably a good idea to take a break from his usual for once. Especially after the other night. Xander didn't necessarily mean to scare that person out of his wits, nor did he really want to knock him out cold for causing a racket. But if the idiot didn't want people climbing into his windows at night, he shouldn't have left one open in the first place.
He continued on quietly, the candy in his mouth was getting a bit too sweet. He was about to spit it out as he turned a corner but quickly got distracted. There was a figure. Sitting on the ground not too far ahead of him. Is that? Xander stopped, and peered over his sunglasses at the strange new person. No doubt it was a heartless. He. At least, it looked like one from where Xan was standing. What was he even doing? Is he... Playing? That was different. So was the way he was sitting. Everything about Apollo was out of the ordinary. And that's exactly what Xander needed right then.
His eyes light up, like a child's on Christmas morning. He swallowed the candy and continued to stare at Apollo. He was beyond curious about him. Xander did have an interest in heartless. More so than somebodies. They were more primal and unpredictable. And he had never come across any humanoid ones like this before. At least, not in person. So this was possibly the most fascinating one he'd met yet.
The nobody pushed his sunglasses back up and started to move forward again, walking slowly, cautiously. He didn't want to spook Apollo. If anything he wanted to get as close as he possibly could. His curiosity fueling his every move. Should I call out to it? Surely, he can speak...

Now that he had found out how to turn on the strange shadow powers in his fingers, how was he supposed to turn them off? In search of a way, he open and closed his hand several times, and even ended up shaking his hand to make it go away. He was sure that it wasn't doing that before, was it? Nothing seemed to be working. Not that it scared him at all, it was just bothering him. Then a sticky, sweet scent wafted past his senses and he snapped his head in the direction it was coming from. The smoke on his fingers completely forgotten, and even going out because of lack of interest, he gazed at the unknown figure with widened eyes. Not that they were hostile, but there was a sense of alertness within them. Where had this person come from? How had it snuck up on him? He scanned the being for several moments before he caught another whiff of the sweet scent again. What was that smell? Was it him? No... Seemed like something he might be carrying. Curious, he leaned toward the other being to get closer. He placed one of his hands on the ground so that he could lean on it and get even closer, but that was when he realized there was something holding him back. He stopped mid reach and looked back as his lifeless legs. They weren't working? A confused expression formed on his features as he pulled himself back into a sitting position. Strange... The other was standing on what appeared to be legs. Why wouldn't they work for Apollo? With both of his hands he grabbed his right foot and began to study it closely. Being strangely flexible he was able to bring his foot quite close to his face without feeling uncomfortable while doing it. After a couple of seconds staring at it, he was able to wiggle his toes, and an unsettling grin drifted onto his lips. He wanted that sweet scent. And he was going to do what it took to get it. So now that he knew how to work everything he needed to at the current moment Apollo tried to stand up once more. This time he used the wall to steady himself. Once he was standing he glanced down at his feet and without letting go of the wall he began to wiggle his toes again. Apollo grinned triumphantly and turned to the stranger excitedly as if to show it what he was able to do. But his smile slightly faded when he remember what he truly wanted once more. Finally he let go of the wall and slowly and unsteadily made his way toward the other. When he was close enough to it he lowered himself back close to the ground in a hunched position and sniffed near his pockets. Not too close to touch each other though. He still hadn't decided whether this person was a threat or not.

❝ | Some things, once you've loved them, become yours forever. And if you try to let them go... They only circle back and return to you. They become part of who you are... ...or they destroy you. | ❞ |
Xander stopped moving once Apollo noticed him. There seemed to be no fear or hostility in his expression. That was a good sign. However, until he could judge his next move, the nobody stayed put. There was no chance that he'd have an opportunity like this again. So he was going to do everything in his power not to blow it. He didn't expect Apollo to show as much interest in him as he did. Was he trying to come closer? Xander quirked an eyebrow.
A small chuckle escaped his lips as he watched Apollo investigate his own foot. His flexibility was impressive. Everything he did from that point onward made Xander feel like he was watching a newborn puppy. A rather strange, human looking puppy. But a puppy all the same. That was when it hit him.
He had been wanting to get his hands on a heartless for research purposes. However, whatever he used for that would end up dead. Apollo had too much potential for a fate like that.
In fact. He'd make an adorable “pet.” From what he'd seen so far, Xander was sure he wouldn't tire of him. He tapped his chin thoughtfully. It wouldn't take much to fix any possible issues with him. Just a bit of “persuasion.”
He continued to watch Apollo carefully. He was getting closer than he expected he would. Xander wasn't quite sure what Apollo's motives were. But he kept his guard down, and stayed still. Though he was a bit apprehensive over Apollo focusing his attention around that area of his body.
Was he sniffing? What was he trying to do? Figure out his scent?...No, he was looking for something. Xander couldn't think of anything he had on him that could attract a heartless. Unless it was the candy... He slowly reached into his pocket and pulled out a brightly wrapped hard candy. He then held it out to Apollo with a smile on his face.
“Is this what you want?” He asked, his tone was full of mock affection. Like one someone might use to speak to a small child or even a puppy.

He didn't want to get any closer then he already was if he didn't have to. This was a strange being and he didn't want to make it mad or hostile. All he wanted was the sweet scent. So when it moved it's hand toward it's pockets Apollo went slightly on alert and curled himself into a defensive sitting position. His expression didn't change from it's curiosity, but Apollo wasn't going to take the chance of getting hurt right after he woke up again. When the person brought out a colorful object and held it out to him, Apollo watched him skeptically, but didn't back away. Instead he leaned forward slowly and pinched the crinkly, smooth substance between his thumb and forefinger. He brought it close to his nose and sniffed it. His eyes immediately brightened and that unsettling grin slunk back onto his lips. Bring it close to his mouth he licked it. Then stuck his tongue out as if if tasted terrible. Alright, so he either wasn't supposed to eat it, or there was something inside the colorful plastic. Apollo brought it close to his eyes and inspected the piece of sweet scent before bringing his other hand up and pulling on the two sides. With that it slightly spun, then stopped and stood still in his fingers. Strange... How was he supposed to... Then he saw the crack and he opened the wrapper triumphantly. Apollo took the wrapper off all the way, and while he gazed at the candy in front of him with one hand, he used his other hand to give the wrapper back to the person who'd given him the sweet scent. Perhaps it was important? He didn't know, but the stranger had given him a gift. Least he could do was share some of it with the stranger right? Perhaps that part was tasty for other people. Still cautious, Apollo licked the piece of sweet scent. It was hard like a rock. He shouldn't chew on it, as it might hurt his mouth, but perhaps he could just take the delicious taste off the surface if he just put it on his tongue. So thats what he did. He placed it on his tongue and just sucked on it. At first he was a little shocked by the strong flavor and almost tumbled over from the shock of it. But when he no longer felt overwhelmed he couldn't stop sucking on it. The candy was so amazing. After a short amount of time, he noticed it was getting smaller in his mouth. He glanced at the stranger. He liked it... But he didn't know if it would hurt him... But he liked it. Maybe he should befriend this person so he could get more. After the candy was gone from inside his mouth he looked up expectantly at the stranger. More?" he thought to himself and seemed to be saying with his eyes.

❝ | Some things, once you've loved them, become yours forever. And if you try to let them go... They only circle back and return to you. They become part of who you are... ...or they destroy you. | ❞ |
He watched him closely. Hoping silently that Apollo would like the candy. If he did, Xander could use it to his advantage. Not to mention, they could potentially “bond” over it. Maybe he could figure out more about this whole “friendship” thing. Pets were considered friends right? At least, intelligent and affectionate ones. He wondered if this relationship could end up affectionate. That would be an interesting thing to be a part of. Even if he couldn't really feel any of it.
Though chances are they'd just end up comfortable around each other. Much like the relationship he had with his lizard. And most of the other organization members. It was a somewhat disappointing thought. He furrowed his eyebrows. If everything works out, he'll try to make the relationship different from the norm. Experiment a little bit. It wasn't something he'd heard of anyone trying before.
He wasn't quite sure why Apollo was handing him the wrapper back. In fact he was a little bit hesitant to take it back because it'd been licked. As much as Xander wanted him, he wasn't too keen of possibly getting his spit on him. But he sucked it up, took the wrapper and stashed it in his pocket. He generally just chucked his candy wrappers over his shoulder when he was out and about. But he kept it. Not wanting to possibly offend his potential pet.
Xander grinned. So he did like it. This would make luring him back to the castle easier. Sure, he only had one piece left on his person. But he could use his candy stash as a bargaining chip. His grin grew even wider.
“You want some more?” He used almost the same tone as before, only this time it had a trace of pity. He reached into his pocket and rummaged around for the last piece. Letting the moment drag on a bit longer before he took it out. Holding it out to him. “This is the last one I have on me.” Due to the lack of vocal responses, he wasn't sure if he could really understand him or not. But it was worth a shot if anything. “Though. I do have a lot more at home...” Hopefully Apollo would take the bait. If not, he might actually have to figure out another plan. A less pleasant one.

"You want some more?" The stranger asked. He could understand perfectly what he said. He didn't really know how that was, but it sure helped a lot to know what the being was saying. It would have been really strange for him, if he couldn't understand, especially since he didn't exactly know how to respond in kind. Oh well, he didn't really have anything to say anyway. And the person seemed to understand him just fine with the way he was making expressions and stuff. He'd already guessed that he'd wanted the sweet thing, and now he knew that he wanted more. The figure paused to shuffle through his pocket for a few moments before pulling out one more piece of sweet thing. Then he offered it to Apollo and said “This is the last one I have on me.” Apollo cocked his head and blinked at the man with a blank expression. That was the last one... on him. Which could mean he had more somewhere else? “Though. I do have a lot more at home...”With that explanation Apollo shifted his gaze from the figure before him and leaned to the side to look behind him. There wasn't much difference with the scene appearance except for the tippy top of a white silhouette in the distance above the darkly colored tall buildings. That must be where he was from... At least it would make the most sense... to Apollo anyway. Why wouldn't he want to live in the tallest building around? Apollo would. Speaking of... the being was waiting for his response. The person wanted him to go with him. Well... What else was there for him to do? But still... He felt a little bit skeptical about the whole ordeal. Though, he didn't really have anywhere else to go really anyway. He didn't even know who he was. The only thing he knew was his own name and even that could be wrong if he wasn't careful. Finally he turned his attention back to the person and slowly reached out for the piece of sweet thing. He would follow. Only because the being wasn't acting like the others. Apollo stopped for a moment and a slightly confused blink drifted into his eyes. Others? What others? Why had he thought that? But then he brushed it aside and stood up instead of going to reach for the sweet thing. He then looked up at the white place with slightly more detail, not that he could see any more of it. But he was curious about it and turned his attention back to the person wondering how he should express his desire. He decided to step slightly closer to the man and take the piece of sweet from him. He opened it quite easily and stuck the hard thing in his mouth. This time he didn't give the wrapper to him, instead he placed it in his own pocket. He didn't leave after that. In fact he stood near the person and waited almost expectantly to get moving. Though he wasn't too near the person for any touching to be involved, he was also very aware of him and would not hesitate to make a killing movement if it so came to that.

❝ | Some things, once you've loved them, become yours forever. And if you try to let them go... They only circle back and return to you. They become part of who you are... ...or they destroy you. | ❞ |
Xander smiled broadly when Apollo got closer to him. So he was getting comfortable from the looks of it. Not a very talkative one, he noted. This time the heartless kept the wrapper, and the nobody thought that maybe it meant something. Was he going to come along just like that? He didn't seem to be leaving now. In fact he seemed to waiting to go.
He glanced from Apollo to the castle off in the distance. There was a small distance between the two and their destination. But Xander was confident that everything was going to go smoothly. At least until they reach the castle. He wasn't too positive how the others would react at first. Most of the others opinions didn't matter to him what so ever. In all actuality, he only really cared what the superior might think or do. However, he didn't want to possibly cause any issues with the second in command either. So as long as he avoided those two at all costs for the time being, everything should work out fine.
“I'll take that as you're coming along right?” His tone was more or less excited. He had dropped the strange soft voice he was using earlier. His confidence showing a bit more, as he turned and started towards the castle. Listening to the footsteps behind him.
“I think you'll like it there...It's big and bland, but I've done some redecorating in my room recently.” Idle conversation was a must for Xander when he's traveling with company. The nobody didn't expect much of an answer. He didn't need one either. He would keep talking about things for the most part. Also if he kept up this feeling of casualness, Apollo might become more comfortable with him.
It took them about ten or so minutes to get to the front doors of the castle. Xander bit his lip. Do they go in the front...Or the back? He would try a window; but not only did most not open, he wasn't sure if Apollo would be comfortable with being carried up to his. Nor did he really want to go through the drama of explaining just why the window in his room was busted again. Might as well just use the front since they were already here. His red eyes flicked from the door to Apollo.
“We have to be quiet and quick right now. But I doubt you'll have any issues with the quiet part.” He said with a small chuckle. Xander wondered what this heartless's name was. Did he even have one? He'll go about asking more when they get inside, and actually introduce himself. He hadn't felt the need to earlier because, well, he didn't think about it.

LETS PAINT IT RED TO FIT IN. New world, new place. He couldn't stop his black eyes shift from object to object in suspicion as he followed behind The man. It was a new world. New worlds were always trying to kill him... He wasn't sure why he thought that, cause this was the first world he could remember, but he somehow knew that most places he had been to were not the most kind to him. Perhaps he wasn't a very kind person to them? Well, he couldn't remember. He couldn't even remember what he was known as. Either way, the world around him was dangerous. Anything could jump out at him or the one in front of him. He needed to protect them both at all costs. Nothing out of the ordinary happened on the way to the large white castle. He simply followed and listened to the man talk about random things. It was alright. Apollo didn't mind. He enjoyed listening to his voice. It was interesting. Made Apollo feel like he actually belonged somewhere.... strangely. When was the last time he'd felt something like that? When was the last time he'd felt something other then rage? What did he feel now? Not much. He felt empty and blank. But this didn't bother Apollo. In fact, he welcomed the emptiness. It just meant there were no negative feelings for him to have to deal with. The only feeling that was apparent within him right now was that of caution. When they reached the double doors of the White Castle Apollo lifted his eyes to the top of it in slight awe. There wasn't much of a reaction beyond that, but he certainly was impressed. “We have to be quiet and quick right now. But I doubt you'll have any issues with the quiet part.”At the man's voice Apollo cocked his head. Quiet and quick? How quick did he want him to be? Well, it wouldn't matter. If he simply followed the figure into the castle and not leave his side no matter what happened then he wouldn't get lost. Why did he want to be so quiet though? Not that it would be a problem for Apollo as the person was correct, but it just make the heartless wonder who else lived in this castle that was so important. It wasn't difficult for Apollo to follow behind him quickly and silently. In fact, it was easier then he had thought it possible for him to be. only several moments ago he didn't even know how to stand, but now he moved very gracefully and like a pro as if he'd always known how. Whatever. Anything for those sweet scents. MADE BY VEL OF GS

❝ | Some things, once you've loved them, become yours forever. And if you try to let them go... They only circle back and return to you. They become part of who you are... ...or they destroy you. | ❞ |
Xander put on an air of confidence. He could already pretty much taste success. This was going to be marvelous. And hopefully the beginning of a friendship. It was only a matter of time before he could start really trying to figure out more about Apollo. The most important thing being his name. All sorts of ideas of what it could be bounced around his head. Maybe it was something ritzy. Or goth. With those dark eyes, he'd expect as much. They gave the heartless character though.
The nobody pulled open one of the doors, and peeked in. No one in the front hall. Good good. He slipped inside and beckoned Apollo to follow. It was a bit warmer inside for some reason. He figured it was because half of the others were always breathing heavily through their mouths. At least, some of them sounded like they were. The nobody slunk up some stairs and through corridors. Looking back occasionally to make sure that Apollo didn't get lost, and was still close behind.
It wasn't far now, and they were having unbelievably good luck. Maybe there was a meeting or something Xander was missing. He was going to have to bring Apollo up to the others eventually. Or bring him to the others. But not yet, not until all the arrangements were sound. He wasn't going to really hide him though. He just wasn't going to announce it, as well as keep his door locked when he was out. The nobody slipped around a corner and tiptoed dramatically down a stark white hallway until he reached a door. Which looked just as plain as every other door in the hall.
“Here we are.” Xander opened the door, and motioned for Apollo to go into the dark room first.
“Home sweet home.” A faint sweet smell drifted out of the room and into the hallway, probably from whatever candles he was burning in there. He didn't generally like using the regular lights, so he burned candles and lanterns instead. It made it feel comfier in there anyways. There was a sound of another door opening farther down the hall. Not much time now.

LETS PAINT IT RED TO FIT IN. He followed after the man very quickly and very quietly, keeping up pretty well. It was a very big castle and all he wanted to do was go around and explore it, but the man didn't seem to be interested in stopping so Apollo shrugged and followed as he had been told, quickly and quietly. Once they arrived at the door that the man wanted them to go into, Apollo stepped inside and began to explore immediately. Slowly at first. He wasn't used to actually being inside rooms like this. Always outside. Always. Thats what came to mind anyway. So he was a bit skeptical at first. He was slow to move, but the darkened room really comforted him after several moments and he began to look at things a lot more closely. Of course his first curiosity was the bright energy that Apollo found flickering on the white sticks. He got up close to one of them and watched it move very gracefully and clearly. Very intrigued Apollo lifted his hand to touch whatever the yellow shinny thing was, but when he got close enough to it, he could feel the heat raising off of it. Fire... Thats what it was. Fire. Fire was hot. So he didn't touch it. Instead he picked up the candle part of it and brought the fire closer to his face to study it in closer detail. It was beautiful. So beautiful. He could watch it forever. But then he decided that there were more things to explore within the room and he gently put it back down. Fire was hot and dangerous. He remembered. if this castle really did belong to the kind man, then he didn't want to burn it down. Then he became interested in the table with a bunch of papers strewn all over it. He automatically picked up one of the stick items the sat on top of the papers. He took a moment to study it once again and then noticed the tip of it. What? He touched it with his other hand and saw black stuff make a line on his finger. Tilting his head he drew another line on his finger. Curiosity got the better of him as he noticed the papers on the table. Making some kind of connection Apollo moved to draw a line on one of the papers that was in front of him. MADE BY VEL OF GS

❝ | Some things, once you've loved them, become yours forever. And if you try to let them go... They only circle back and return to you. They become part of who you are... ...or they destroy you. | ❞ |
Xander slipped in after Apollo and shut the door quietly behind him, making sure to click the lock into place. They didn't need any random visitors. The nobody wasn't in the mood to deal with anyone else besides Apollo. Everything else could wait. It was a bit darker than he liked so he went about lighting up a couple of lanterns. Glancing over at Apollo every few seconds to make sure the heartless didn't end up burning himself on the candle.
After he fixed the lighting issue Xander grabbed a jar full of brightly wrapped candies of different shapes and sizes off a shelf and stepped over to Apollo. Might as well dig in now that they're here. A bit of a treat for getting this far. It was also habit to for him to stuff his face with sugar after completing really anything.
“Here we g- WOAH WOAH WAIT.” Xander's tone came out a bit more frantic than he intended. He put the jar down on the table and quickly swiped the papers out from in front of Apollo. He could scribble on himself, on something blank, hell even on Xander if he needed to. Just not on the reports. Sure they weren't extremely important. But the nobody put a little bit too much work into making his handwriting look nice on some of them. Plus he wasn't really sure what all was on the table to begin with.
“Lets not write on that, eh...Here, how about...This!” He shuffled through the papers on the table and floor for something unimportant or blank. After finding a few the nobody smiled and placed them in front of Apollo. He also really needed to figure out what to call him. “Eh” wasn't going to work more than just this once.
Xander let out a sigh of relief, and plopped down next to the table. He reached over and grabbed the jar. Quickly popped the lid off it and started to dig around in it. Looking for a specific color. He was partial to the bright blue ones. The nobody wasn't even sure what flavor it was supposed to be, but he loved it anyways. After finding the one he wanted, he grabbed a couple random ones, placed them on the table, then pushed them towards Apollo.
“So.. Do you have a name?” He asked, idly unwrapping the little blue candy. Most of his attention was focused on the heartless.

LETS PAINT IT RED TO FIT IN. "WHOA WHOA WAIT! Said the man a little loudly, causing Apollo to flinch back into a defensive state as the clean pages were snatched out from under him. His eyes flickered around nervously for a few moments as the figure searched for something else he could draw on. He had done something wrong. Something the other one didn't like. Had he made him upset? Was there something he could do to make up for it? He watched as a couple other pieces of paper were placed out in front of him. He gazed at them for a few moments before noticing the small pile of sweet things sitting next to him on the table. Ah... So he hadn't upset the other, just done something that possibly wouldn't have been a good idea. Taking one of the pieces of candy, opening it, and popping it into his mouth Apollo glanced at the man and then went back to put lines on the paper. Something about this was familiar. Something just seemed... Intriguing about it. He began to draw intricate strokes. Ones that he had no idea he could create. As quick as he started, the eye he had drawn was finished. It was so detailed it looked almost like Xander's eye. When asked about his name Apollo turned his gaze back onto the male for a few moments. He was thinking. How did he tell this man what his name was. Then an idea popped into his head and he turned away from the eyes he had been gazing into and placed his attention back onto the piece of paper he had been drawing on only moments before. As he drew the lines, they became a word, a decorated word. He didn't know why it had become like this. Why he had drawn it like this. But he liked it though. A... P... O... L... L... O was what was written on the page. This was his name. The only word he could picture in his mind. The only word that actually made any sense. This was who he was. Once he finished drawing his name he began to draw again. This time of what appeared to be a woman that looked very much like him. Only her face though. Her bangs falling over her blank eyes, a very uninterested, calm expression on the girl's face. He didn't know who she was, and he didn't really care, but he like the look of her and so continued drawing. MADE BY VEL OF GS

❝ | Some things, once you've loved them, become yours forever. And if you try to let them go... They only circle back and return to you. They become part of who you are... ...or they destroy you. | ❞ |
After rolling the unwrapped candy between his fingers for a moment, he tossed it into his mouth. Xander continued to watch Apollo closely. Curious as to what the heartless could possible draw, write, or even scribble. Xander didn't have much skill with a pen himself. If he didn't put effort into it his handwriting was chicken scratch. His stick figure drawings also left so much to be desired. Maybe this guy would be good with a pen. If he was, he could probably even have him write up reports for him from time to time. Wouldn't that be interesting as well as productive. The nobody reached around behind himself and pulled a floor cushion closer so he could lean his back against it.
His curious expression soon turned to wide eyed surprise. That was one impressive looking eye. Was it, his? It looked similar. Xander wasn't really expecting much from Apollo as far as artistic talent was concerned. So he was quite a bit impressed. He also found it interesting to watch him draw. Every little movement his hand made, as well as the movements in his wrist and arm. But before he got too distracted by that, he looked back down at the paper. He tilted his head to the side
Apollo... That's a nice name right there. Not as gothic-y as he had expected. It was much better actually. More memorable. Not one he heard very often either. Didn't it have some sort of mythological significance as well or was Xander's mind pulling at strings. He tapped his chin thoughtfully.
“Apollo...?” He said it aloud, with a smile. Now that he had a name for a face, he felt like he knew Apollo a little better. It would also be so much easier to get his attention. Apollo didn't talk, but maybe he seemed to be able to write. That could make conversation a lot easier. Though it's one thing to be able to write one's own name, and another to be able to write coherent sentences. So Xander was going to have to see if he could write more. If not, well, I suppose that means the nobody will have to teach him. But first, he had to make sure he introduced himself.
“It's good to finally have a name for a face... Mine is Xander.” Xander swallowed his candy and glanced to see what he was drawing this time. Some girl? Maybe someone from his past? He narrowed his eyes and pulled out another piece of candy.
“She's cute.” He said in a curious tone, tossing the new piece of candy in his mouth, wrapper and all. It took Xander a second to realize his mistake, but just simply unwrapped it in his mouth and spit the wrapper into a nearby trashcan. "A friend of yours?"

LETS PAINT IT RED TO FIT IN. Xander? Cool name, but he had no idea how to spell it onto the piece of paper. But oh well. There was one more word that was in his head at the moment. He didn't know what the word meant per se. But it intrigued him for the moment. Peering down at his piece of paper he studied the girl he had just drawn. It was sort of half finished at the moment. Most of the face was drawn and the hair, but the details weren't finished. Either way... It didn't matter. There was one more name he wanted to sketch onto the page. A... R... T... E... M... I... S... Artemis? Who was that? Was it even a name? Was it a random word? Meh... Oh well... and then he became completely and entirely uninterested in drawing. Just like that he put the pencil down and began to explore more of the room. He made his way over to where the heavy fabric was and peered behind it at the smooth surface. His eyes widened and he jumped back in surprise at the image that gazed right back at him. His breathing became heavy from slight shock. There was another person in the room, or that was himself. When was the last time he'd actually looked at himself? Getting curiouser he crept closer to the mirrored image of himself. Realizing that it was following his exact movements. This was so new... And yet it wasn't. He had probably done this many times before, but had completely forgotten. He studied his hair in the reflection for a little bit before moving onto his own eyes. They were so dark. Dark and... open... Open? They were so wide! Something about this seemed different, wrong even. What...? He felt like they should be a lot more serious. But they weren't. Why was there so much about himself that he didn't even know? MADE BY VEL OF GS
