The final day...or at least it should take full effect some time soon. The week had been filled with Abel hoping that what he got from the witch was really gonna work. It had to work...for Trinity's sake. Giving a sigh, he stretched as he leaned away from the table that was covered in a few scrolls though he soon winced and reached behind himself as far as he could to his shoulder blades. The spot was sore and hurting a lot lately though not like the rest of him was sore. Everywhere on him was sore though his back was a lot worse. He had no idea what was going to unfold, getting up he collected the scrolls and put them back in their places; at least he hoped it was their proper places. It was hard to keep track of where all of these things went. Putting the last one away, he glanced down at his right arm and a confused look came to his face. The skin looked red as if it was irritated but why was that? Shaking his head he tried to pass it off as if he was imagining it and left the library. It was dark outside thus it had to be night from what he could tell looking outside of the castle's windows as he walked down the halls. The pain in his back made itself more noticed and he paused, rotating his shoulders in the attempt to ease the pain. Not a very good attempt though on his part. Trinity Mouser

She had recently been called to make a report to the Yindse Castle, no telling why the king wanted to meet her in person. It had been only a month since she left, what was there to report or to say? It was a tad funny how her brother knew she was going to be home before even she did, why there was even a letter of location and time. Did he put the king up to it? What was the big surprise?
She dressed in a more complex royal white dress than what she had grown used to wear around the keybladers. If Lara saw here now, she would probably laugh, though Lara always found silly Royal tradition well silly. Oh dear, Lara was rubbing off on her, if she didn't watch out she just might start screaming at all the Royal Ladies in the castle for their ridicules dresses and dresscode.
Her thoughts began to wonder back to her... Brother... She very rarely saw him, he was always dragged into their family's tradition and ridicules royal duties. The few times he had free he either spent it with trying to play or cheer her up, she was never quite sure. It sometimes felt the curse actually drew her brother closer to her, no idea why. Well, that was until the day she just understood how messed up the royal castle was. Some part of her believes that just maybe deep down he was just trying to use her, build her trust, or just some sort of tragedy waiting to happen.
The funny thing, when she grew to prefer loner-ship over silly falsehood companions the library drew her in, hiding her from the world more so than that make-up ever could. She had once or twice, okay maybe three times caught her brother studying there. At first it was a shock to see Royal boy studying to so hard, it hadn't even occurred to her at the time it was because he was trying to find some sort of cure. That was well, till after her 18th birthday, he had accidentally left books laying around for his most recent studies. She looked at each before it even occurred to her their connection, such random books too, maybe he was gradually figuring it out? She could only hope.
She never told him that she knew of his little "journey", in fact she secretly was glade he was at least attempting to be her white knight in shining armor. After she hit 24 she had however grew tired of stalking those book shelves, tired of watching him at night, tired of looking herself. She decided to go direct, to the main source of all heroes, if her own brother could not save her.
Here she was walking the halls toward the meeting place, for her "present". She really didn't care for such treasuries, what was real treasure was seeing her brother between his studies and travels. Each every time it brought minor small happy memories, that maybe just maybe, her family held hope for the future.

Abel had heard that Trinity was suppose to be arriving back though held no idea of her actually knowing of his studying the library or anything. He also hadn't told her of his trip to the with Adrzal. She probably wouldn't like it though. Trying to ignore the pain he moved onward, aiming to get to the place before she did if she was here yet. Taking a turn, he noticed her in a white gown and shook his head. All dressed up for no reason it seemed. "Hey, Tri..." Abel started as he raised his arm to wave though he was soon cut off from pain, it caused him to gasp and lean against the wall. His blue gaze was directed to the ground as he regained his breathe. Just great, why was it now of all times that he was stuck with pain? Plus with Trinity around it might go badly. Trinity Mouser

She heard a voice coming from behind, instantly her heartbeat sped up. Brother? She turned around to see her brother leaning against the wall. That was quite an oddity, why was he leaning against the wall? Was this some new form of exercise? Why was he exercising before their meeting? She quicken her steps toward him, holding parts of her dress for a quicker pace. Deep down knowing something was terribly wrong and that all possibilities were just nonsense her own conscience was making up.
Eventually reaching him, she saw pain written all over him, it must have been excruciating. "Ar-are you alright?" She dropped the sides of the dress turning total attention to her brother. Her silver eyes scanned his body realizing it was a tint redder than it should have been.
Was this some sort of poison ivy or rash? Maybe sunburn, it had been a month maybe he was out tanning at Radiant Garden? Maybe he was exercising all day, that was it he wanted to show her his new workout. Yes, it was his noble duty to stay in shape, and he cared so deeply for her well being that he wanted to explain it to her. She placed a fist in her palm at how brilliant this all sounded in her head, she spoke before realizing even what she was saying "Is this that new exercising regime? Are you just dehydrated? Should I get you water?" Some part of her obviously didn't want to know the truth, deep down fearing the truth.

"I...I might be, just...just really sore...my back's the worst of it." Abel said, looking back up at her. "Exercise regim? No no, you don't have to get me anything. How's it been going?"
He honestly didn't know why his skin was redder though he didn't remove himself from the wall, leaning seemed to be a good idea. Course he hadn't noticed yet but his finger nails were now black and his hair seemed to be a bit more puff looking due to their slowly changing texture. He was oblivious to it as well.
"How are things with the Keyblade wielders?" Abel added.

It was really hurting his back... Maybe it was just a sunburn? He said not to get anything, but she wasn't quite sure. Abel looked really really perched, just a swallow of water should help, just a little? He began to start the conversation they were suppose to be having together, at their meeting spot, their rare meeting.
"the-the key-keybladers? They are the-Abel! your nails!" She pointed temporarily shocked by how black they were, only grab the hand and shoving it in his face. She ignored any sort of pain he had or was probably filling from this action, "Mother is going to to kill you, you know how picky she is about nails. Are these dyed?" Trinity showed him his hand right up to his face, as if he couldn't see it before then.

She started to talk then all of a sudden went off target. His arm being grabbed and then pulled sent a great deal of pain through him and it took a lot not to cry out, he winced very hard though. Wait...what? Looking at his hand a confused expression came to his face.
"I...I don't dye my fingernails!" Abel said as he stared. "They...they weren't this color when I was in the li...librar...ugh..."
The pain in his back worsened and it felt like something was under the skin, resulting in him wrapping his arms around his ribs to try and stop it. His hair seemed longer and more feather like now. His feet felt restricted, as if the shoes were now tighter.
"Can...can you help me to my r..room?" Abel asked, what was wrong it was best to just hide.

What did he mean he didn't dye his nails! How else were they to be explained for being so black? Then she heard it, library, he did something in the library. What did he discover? What did he attempt? Panic began to pull at her, what if he attempted magic without knowing consequences? Is there a way she could fix this? He wrapped his arms around his ribs as if the pain was growing and it was harder and harder to hid.
eventually he attempted to speak to her once more, voice breaking from the pain, all she could do was nod and lead him to his room. She did not trust her own words, she didn't know what to do. She knew no magic, all she learned was basics of swordsmanship... even then. What was she to do? Helplessness began to fill her, she was certainly uncertain.

At least all the servants were asleep, sure there might be a guard or two still awake inside the castle but they were most likely confined to their post. The trip to his room was pretty much quiet, Trinity didn't speak and he tried his best not to make any sounds as the pain raged through his back. The whole time his shoes got tighter and tighter it was getting rather painful as well. They soon arrived to the destination and Abel pulled away from his sister as she closed the door, and a hand went to this head. That's when he paused and pulled a loose strand out. What he saw was a black feather, where had that come from? It couldn't be his hair...could it? He was soon trying to ignore the feather as he dropped it and started to scratch his arm.
Why did he feel itchy now?! This whole night wasn't making sense, you couldn't see it but the cause of irritation to his skin was the small tips of the feathers trying to make their way through the skin. There was soon a sting in his arm and he was pretty surprised once more. His black nails had elongated and gotten sharper thus he had accidentally cut himself in his attempt to get ride of the itch.
"Before...you grab my arm...yes...I no...noti..." Abel started though the pain in his back cut him off once more.
He felt his legs giving out beneath him and he fell down to his knees, wincing from the pain as he put his hands on the ground. If Trinity looked close enough, she'd see movement under his shirt at the shoulder blades.

The journey was short, but upon arrival her brother pulled away, allowing her a chance to close the door behind them. Soon after the door was closed she turned around to face her brother, specifically at his hand that held a black feather. Was he starting to collect feathers? Was this her present he spoke of in the letter?
Soon her brother dropped the feather, okay maybe he was just admiring his most recent trophy? Then what was going on? This was confusing, she didn't understand what the present was or why he was even in pain. Soon he began to itch himself, then a scrap of nail against skin causing bleeding. "Abel! You're arm!" She shouted, not even hearing his words about it. Quickly she looked around the room for something that could help, still not really noticing the major changes to her brother.
Eventually her eyes spotted a simple rag, and conveniently a small bucket of water. She grabbed the bucket of water and rag, then rushed back to her brother right when he began collapsing to the ground. She leaned in using some of her strength catch him, but not without spilling a little water on the ground. Once he was on the ground, immediately she dipped the rag, ignoring any comments he might have made.
With each dab Trinity had made, she began cleaning the blood off the wound, then the silly nilly move on to try and cool off his feverish temperature. Soon she went from arms to shoulder she noticed... The oddity... They were not moving like normal. Immediately she roughly pulled at the top of the shirt down to see the shoulder hugely swollen and most feverish compared to the rest of the body. This seriously needed the cool water, and now. She shouted without thinking of her own words or unusual actions, "Ta-take o-off your shirt."

"I..I noticed..." Abel muttered to her shouting of his arm. Couldn't blame her for freaking, he was pretty close to that to. What was going on? He didn't notice her grabbing a bucket of water let alone the rag nor her tending to the accidental wound to his arm. Though he noticed when she pulled on his shirt rather rough. "What are you...doing?" Abel asked as she did this, though he sighed at her words. "Alright...alright." Slowly he removed the article of clothing, for it stung a bit against his shoulder blades due to the swollen area and the pain that was already there. Once the shirt was off, he cast it away. Revealing the far redder skin and two swollen spots there, though Trinity would see that they seemed to shift as they got bigger. Trying to sit up, he brought his feet to be in front of him though a few feathers were already making themselves known on his chest, not full length yet but you'd be able to see what looked like black spots there. Course his constricted feet soon broke free of the shoes only....his feet weren't normal looking. The skin was rougher looking and black but that wasn't the shocker. Instead of ten toes, he had three long ones and the heel of his foot was extended outward, both with black talons at the end. Okay he was serious freaked out. Trinity Mouser

He questioned her, which was understanding, but ever slowly removed his shirt. The removal of the shirt showed huge two swollen spots, both spots just seemed to be growing bigger and bigger. Trinity gave a gasp of disgust, soon followed by gagging, that lasted several moments before she could pull herself back together.
Once pulled back together she quickly began placing the rag on those large swollen spots trying to help out even just a little. her mind raced with "this is too much, this is too much. why did I come home? why did I come here" but she spoke not a word, daring not to. All she could do was focus on those two big spots, not even noticing the chest or any other major changes... Oblivious as always, silly princess.

"What?" Abel asked her when things gotten quiet.
He couldn't see behind himself at his back though he assumed that she was looking at his feet. It was odd they...they looked bird like and yet he could move them as if they were always there...creepy. A glance over his shoulder to look at Trinity though the pain of the rag being placed though caused him to jerk as a pained sound left him, trying his hardest not to yell. They didn't need to wake up the whole castle. However whatever was under the skin wasn't going to let him stay quiet, the rag got a little red and whatever was there Abel could feel it moving once more, pushing outward.
"I...I...I think yo...you should...m...move.." Abel cautioned her, not really sure on if it was something to worry about.
Once/if she moved hopefully, something broke out. A pained cry left Abel, unable to hold that one in. Two large black wings stretched forth, black feathers were only red in a few areas due to breaking out of the skin. Abel was left gasping, leaning forward from the pain. The large appendages lowered to the ground, though they hit the dresser and caused it to make a loud thunk noise as it tittered. The feathers on his chest got longer and they started to appear around the area where the wings broke free.

What? He had asked... What? that was a good question, one that deserves an answer, an answer she held nothing to. The swollen body parts she now really looked shifted location, how do swollen body parts move? Was this normal? You would think spending all the time in the library would give her some clue about healing or even what was going on. He began speaking, it sound awfully painful for him to do so, like his life slipping away.
She took in his words and slipped away from him, only just in time to see two large black wings popping out of his back. Her eyes went wide at the sudden change, heart thumping incredibly fast, fear rushing through her whole body. What was this? What was this thing. She found herself scooting further from her brother, she had managed to cover her mouth both hands concealing the scream so only both of them could hear it. Tears began running down her eyes as she feared for her brother's life as well her own.
If you were to ask her what she experienced in this moment, all she would be able to say is a monster came out alive before her very eyes and there was nothing to do. That she was at its mercy with no real way to fight back if it had decided to fly her away to an unknown land. If she was asked about her relations toward her brother at this very moment, she would probably look down cowardly unable to process where her brother was in all this mess. All she saw was the monstrosity in front of her, almost just like her parents, something that will eat at her for months.

The pain caused the wings to twitch as they stayed on the ground and honestly it took a few minutes for him to regain his breathe. Glancing over at Trinity, he gave a confused look to her. Why did she look like that? She...she seemed...afraid?
"Trinity?" Abel asked, he reached out to her with a hand though a glance down to it caused him to pull it back.
The feathers were covering his arm now and they were quickly covering the rest of him. The longer nails became claws and honestly he didn't know what to do. The way she was looking at him...he had a feeling on what that meant. Did...did she even see him truly anymore? Glancing over his shoulders, he spied the large wings behind him. Though he glanced back to her.
"Trinity....it...it's me, it's okay." Abel said, not sure on if this would help or not. "I'm not too sure on how this happened but please, believe me alright? It's still me."
