| | Eros spun around, slashing at both of the nobodies. After that, the one he was spending the most time fighting perished. Now the one the heartless kept kicking away was left,in his immediate vicinity. His red eyes flicked over at Milo to see him taking on three at once. He seemed to have a handle on it. At least, for the most part. One seemed to have gotten a hit in, and that was somewhat worrisome. Eros cringed, but didn't rush to help. Surely Milo could pull through that. But he was going to keep his eye on him just in case it got harder. Eros had to take care of this nasty abomination before attracting more anyways. The heartless made an attempt to charge at the nobody, missed and took a blow to side as payback. He flinched, turned on his heels and swung at it again with a lot more rage. The pain was just more incentive to kick its rear. Once it was down for the count he turned his attention to Milo. He still had those three, should he intervene? No no, surely he could get those. The heartless should make sure the few that were left didn't join in. Eros let out a small battle cry when he charged at the ones twitching their way towards Milo. Maybe he should just knock them back for now in order to help his new friend out? | |

Darkness lingers
even in my heart
For it is so dark
Such a heartless heart
Milo soon feels himself get hit again, and the sensation of blood being absorbed into the ripped fabric. He still hasn't had the time to let all of his wounds heal from all the fights he has been in. As well he still isn't quite strong enough to be able to focus on someone else while kicking all these nobody's butts. It's going to drain him but he would have to finish this with one blow. Taking a deep breath, he gits ready. What he is about to do will likely expend all but the smallest amounts of his energy. Letting shadows find there way to his feet he ends up taking a few hits, which make him cough, damn might be internal bleeding. But once he is ready he leaps all of the nobody's suddenly focused on the fastest moving threat. With fast cuts and the expenditure of a lot of energy Milo bounces from building to building rounding up all but one of the nobody's into a group. His aura now intensifies at his blade starts to radiate darkness. "DARK SPIRIT BLADE!" Milo shouts as he jumps up and lands in the middle of them, now spinning, hitting them all with the edge of his blade the darkness clinging to them as they all fall to the ground defeated. But soon, swaying back and forth Milo falls too, the blood lose getting to his head. He feels the world tilt at a 45 degree angle, darkness closing in on his vision and a feeling of lightness that makes him feel like he is drifting to the close incoming ground. But then he hits all his senses knocked out of him, as his mind drifts to the unconscious world. « tag: Eros // notes: // Words: 290 »

| | The fight ended faster than Eros had expected it too. He thought that it would drag on, what with how many nobodies they were up against. Not to mention Eros's own fear made it feel as though it would take a lifetime to dispose of them. However when Milo unleashed his final attacks, all the heartless could do was stand back and watch. It was interesting, he couldn't say he'd seen anything quite like it before. At least, in this lifetime. Eros wondered if maybe, he trained with him he might learn something similar. That would be nice. He needed strength after all. However, his amazement soon turned to concern. When Milo swayed and fell Eros felt his heart drop. No, no. Did he lose him to these monsters? He couldn't afford to lose anything else. If only because this person he only knew for an hour or so, was the only “friend” he'd ever made. Eros dashed over to his companion and got down on one knee. Looking him over first. He was out like a light. He was still breathing though. But the amount of blood on him wasn't good. It wasn't good at all. Eros looked around, making sure the coast was clear. He quickly gathered up their weapons and tucked them safely in the side of his belt before putting a hand on Milo to see if he was still unconscious. Yep. In that case, he gently hoisted the smaller heartless up over his shoulder. His red eyes scanned the area one more time before he got on the move. Walking at first, before finally breaking out into a sprint. He brought Milo home. Well, to where he considered home to be. It was a tad dark, humid and small. But it worked for Eros. It was one of the basement rooms of a vacant building. It was locked up pretty well so Eros never had to worry about unwanted guests. Eros put Milo down on a mattress. It was the only “real” piece of furniture in the room. He placed their swords against a stack of boxes and chucked his trench coat aside. The heartless then went about tending to Milo's wounds. He tried not to be very invasive. But they needed to be cleaned and bandaged at least. Eros was curious about the mark on Milo's hand. It wasn't something he'd seen before. But he didn't think much of it. Everyone had strange things on their bodies these days. He let out an exhausted sigh once he was done bandaging up his friend. He left him shirtless, because his jacket and shirt needed to be cleaned. How do you even get blood out of light colors? Eros pondered this for a moment before gathering a bucket of cool water and dunking the clothes into it. This seemed like the way to do it. He scrubbed at the fabric. It took a ridiculous amount of time to get the stains out but he managed. After that was done, he wrung out the clothes and hung them up near a small window. He'd move them outside to dry better later. He was too tired to do it now. The heartless yawned and wiped his brow. He sat down on a box across the room from the mattress, he put his elbows on his knees and hung his head. He fiddled with his hands for a moment. Cracking his knuckles while going over the events of today in his mind. It was definitely more exciting than his usual. And honestly, Eros wanted to do it over again. Or at least something similar. No nobodies would be nice... His eyes fluttered closed. Now we play the waiting game. He was going to try and get some sort of rest before Milo woke up... Hopefully he won't freak out about being shirtless. | |

Milo smiles, he doesn't really know many people who would go out of there way for him like this. Tend to his wounds, and even clean his shirt! Its nice, it gives Milo a warm feeling that he hasn't felt in a long time. But suddenly Milo feels a sense of dread, what if something happened to Eros? He would never get that feeling again. As he starts to think this he gets smacked in the face by a blanket totally jarring his thoughts. He looks up to Eros and a weak thank you escapes his lips. Then leaning and reaching over he grabs Kurikara, his lovely Katana, and his version of a security blanket. He then crosses his legs and rests this blade against his shoulder. "Thank you" He says much stronger this time. Milo then looks around where he is, confused and looks back to Eros. "Where are we?"« tag: Eros // notes: // Words:194 »

| | Eros was at that point where the world starts getting hazy. He was in that limbo between being awake and asleep. His eyes were closed, and he was more hunched down then before. Auditory hallucinations were common around this time. Eros had them often before falling asleep. Most of the time he would hear music. It was generally quieter, softer things. Like lullabies without words. He smiled at the imaginary sounds. He wasn't even aware of most of Milo's tossing and turning. The exhaustion was a bit too much. However the sound of his companion's voice woke him up. He jumped slightly, everything else going silent. He glanced over at Milo from under his bangs before sitting up. Eros let out a bit of a groan, and brushed his black hair out of his face. Trying to completely register what Milo had said. Shirt... not on... OH! The heartless rubbed his eyes and cleared his throat before talking. “It was bloody so I decided to wash the stains out of it.”Eros waved his hand in the direction of the drying laundry. It hadn't been too long, so it was still dripping mostly damp. He couldn't stand the metallic smell of blood, so it was half a nice gesture, and half him taking care of his own nose. “It's still drying.”He said with a yawn. Sitting up straight and looking over Milo. He was probably cold... Eros groggily stood up and grabbed a blanket off of the floor before chucking it over at the other heartless before sitting back down on the box. There that should give him some warmth as well as modesty. The heartless also had some spare shirts if Milo absolutely needed one. But he was too tired to go out of his way to get one right now. If he was asked for one then, maybe sure he would go grab one. But for the time being he wasn't going to do anything else just for the sake of it. | |

| | Eros yawned and nodded. He hadn't realized till now just how tired he was. The adrenaline from earlier must be finally wearing off. He pulled his legs up and sat criss-cross applesauce on the box before leaning back against the wall. The heartless glanced around the room with half open eyes before answering. “It's well... Home.”It wasn't much at all, but it was home. Eros felt a bit embarrassed when he realized just how bland and cold this place really was. He should fix it more, make it more comfortable. Maybe get some more furniture. Maybe some curtains. Though this place wasn't permanent. He might have to leave at anytime so putting that much effort into it seemed...All for nothing. Then the heartless realized he forgot to say something out loud. “You're welcome. And you're welcome to rest up here as well.”The heartless yawned again and closed his eyes. He was comfortable falling asleep in this spot. He could really sleep anywhere, as long as the surface of whatever it was wasn't made entirely of hornets. Generally he liked laying horizontal but he was too tired to care at this moment. He was comfortable in the way that mattered. And that was mentally. | |
